Squid Ink Sushi - Peoria

this is my favorite place! I personally don't eat seafood/fish but I love that I have options.I always get the buffalo chicken roll and avocado roll, and occasionally the tempura asparagus roll. The buffalo roll is the best thing and I could eat it daily. My one thing is I wish they had kept the original size of it vs making it smaller for the same price. I do feel like for its size now it is closer to being a $14 roll vs $16 but that doesn't prevent me from getting it every time.Service is usually great each time we come in as well expect for at the beginning. I do feel like we wait a bit of time once seated but I believe they do have an opportunity for staffing. Only other thing is the consistency of the surf and turf roll. My hubby loves a lot of their rolls but the meat on top if this roll is never the same. It's either perfect, over torched, or practically raw. I do think that providing the same experience is key when it comes to a sushi roll and finding a standard method for all chefs would be beneficial.

Don't waste your time and money on Squid Ink. They advertise 50% off happy hour before 7:00pm all the time.On a tight budget, but wanting to experience good food (we love sushi) we've gone to their happy hours, ALWAYS BEFORE 7:00pm, but have never received 50% off of anything . . . food, drinks, nothing. They will charge you 100% despite advertising 50% off before 7:00pm.It's a nice restaurant otherwise, great location, just deceitful. There are plenty of other places that will earn your business legitimately.Also, tip you wait staff no matter where you dine. They work hard!!!

This is my all time favorite restaurant at 4 Corners in Peoria.Christina our waitress did a marvelous job, very friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and accommodating. We've noticed the Salmon dish has changed a little, smaller filet than previous, not quite sure the Salmon is from the same purveyor as in the past and a lot less Avocado than previously.Just asking, if needed raise the price a little and go back to what we are used to getting at our favorite restaurant Squid Ink.BTW, Garlic Edamame and Wagyu Burger yummy.We will be back!

Just okay. Rolls were on the small side. Flavors were good. But service was slow and it wasn't anything special. Not very busy either.

Squid Ink Sushi is a fun dinner place with attention to detail and great customer service! We were visiting Family and came here for dinner.They have plenty of Sushi and extensive menu options like the crab rangoon appetizer. We went as a large group and ordered lots of sushi as well as chicken tenders for the kids.The service was great, they accompanied us with the big table and it helped that we showed up early because of the kids. We ordered dessert and they threw in a couple of scoops of ice cream for the kids.Overall, it was a fun experience! We liked the food and everyone had a great time. The Sushi was delicious and we all liked our dishes. Hope we come back next time we're in town. Stop by if you're in the Northern Phoenix area and in the mood for Sushi.

My fav! Best sushi and complete delicious menu! I can bring anyone here, kids included and everyone always finds something delicious on the menu even if they don't eat sushi! Ambience is great, Service is great, Drinks are great!

Was this a late lunch or an early dinner? I can't really say but I do know that this was an amazing meal. I ordered the Grilled Salmon Fillet with a cherry Coke. My server, Carmen, was so good! She made me a cherry Coke with some grenadine from the bar and recommended getting the salmon blackened. This salmon was cooked medium and was so moist and flavorful. The sautéed and fresh vegetables and half a sliced fresh avocado made the perfect combination. The rice was just enough, instead of covering the plate. We tried @squidinksushi to-go one week night and were very impressed with the sushi and the plates. I returned to see if the salmon was just as good the second time and it was! I have a favorite now but there are so many other good things I want to try on the menu, which isn't too overwhelming with choices. There are some well curated specials and classics. There's sushi bar, bar, high table, booth, and outdoor patio seating. I'm glad this place is close by.

Every roll is great. Always fresh. The bartender also makes the best lemon drop martinis and whatever specialty martinis they have.

Squid Ink is one of the best sushi spots in the North Peoria area. Their lunch specials are really great! Nights... especially weekend nights are hard to get into without a wait, but the wait is worth it. It's a vibe with clean open spaces and and outside patio and bar! Not pictured, but a favorite menu item is their short ribs app!

Should have known from the moment I stepped in... not a single Asian employee (to include in the kitchen and behind the sushi counter). My miso soup was covered in mushrooms haha. I legit laughed as I fished it all out. Never had miso soup with portobello mushrooms. My friends crab rangoons were either a bite of cream cheese or a bite of crab. I'm not even gonna get into the sushi. If you enjoy the most Americanized version of "Japanese" cuisine, then this is the spot for you.
