Spyhop Public House

We were in town Friday night and were looking for a place to eat dinner. We tried going to go to Saltwater but they had a sign on their door saying they were not taking anymore ppl for the night. Then we tried Prima Bistro next door, but they told us the wait for going to be 1.5 hours. This was Friday night around 5:30 PM. None of us wanted to wait, so i came across Spyhop and we decided to walk over and see if they had a wait, and they didn't! It all worked out great too, because we had our dog and were able to eat outside with our dog, so outdoor seating here is dog friendly! We ordered:- fried pickles- fish and chips x3- wrap with friesThey had some good pub food options. The fried pickles were just ok to me, their fish and chips were pretty good, and comes with 3 pieces of fish. We had good service too. Overall, we were glad we came here for dinner and didn't have a wait for a table!

We stopped in for lunch the other day. We had a minor problem with the appetizer but the staff immediately corrected it. My burger was delicious, the fries equally so. My friend had the fish and chips and really enjoyed them. We brought our puppy with us and the staff brought a water bowl so he could drink. (We were outside on the balcony). Our waitress was super nice!

I love family vibes and this restaurant exudes family and friend love. The menu has home made items and one of the items we loved with our fries, mozzarella sticks and fried pickles is their RANCH dressing. Yummy! Parking is easy. They open at 4pm. Open bar with local brewed beer - loved the pale ale. We ordered their Cesar salad, chicken strips, mozzarella sticks, fries, and fried pickles. Everything was so yummy! Full bar too!

Great food and great people. We were starving from traveling all day and the meal hit the spot! Everyone loved all of their dishes

Absolutely the best fish and chips we've had in a long time. Service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely return to try their other menu items. Very reasonably priced and ample portions.

Spyhop is one of the rare places that close late in Langley. Cozy pub. Kind and welcoming service. Family ambiance. I ordered fish and onion rings that came with coleslaw. Love that it's beer battered just as I would expect in a pub. I was surprised how yummy the coleslaw was: thinly sliced, super fresh, smooth dressing. The best I have had in a very long time. Next time I'll order coleslaw as a salad!

Fun place to stop in Langley for pub grub. Consistent flavors. We've added this place to the rotation. Yummy cocktails too.

We had been meaning to check out Spyhop for quite some time and we finally made it in for lunch on a Saturday. It was 1pm and we were seated right away. The beer list is a great mix of local brews and the menu has something for everyone. They have a kids menu as well (paper with crayons). My husband loved his burger and my wrap was full of flavor! Back on whidbey island and decided to visit Spyhop again. What a wonderful cozy pub. Sat at the bar and was welcomed by Susan. She greets you with a smile and makes you feel right at home. Ordered a cider and a burger and it did not disappoint. And The tater tots were to die for. Love this place and will always come back each time I'm on the island.

We are visiting the island for a week and ordered takeout from Spyhop tonight. Everything was wonderful. The fried pickles were amazing, the burger was amazing and my salad was so fresh. The food was still hot by the time I picked it up and the bartender was very friendly. The inside of the business was very cozy and comfortable. We should have dined in but there will always be another time. Love Whidbey Island.
