Party of 2 visited for dinner on Saturday evening in October 2024. The interior is simplistic but cozy. Saw a lot of couples and a birthday celebration. During our visit, the train passed by 2 times which was unique but it wasn't too disruptive. I had the GOLDEN BEET & FIG SALAD as the starter which was delicious but the balsamic vinaigrette was a bit too acidic in my humble opinion. I literally had tears coming out of my eyes due to this. I'd use a different one. My husband had the POTAGE PARMENTIER and said he really enjoyed it. We both had the PAN-ROASTED HALIBUT and truly enjoyed it. Our waiter Josh was very informative and suggested we try the CARNAROLI RICE PUDDING. So I got that as dessert and my husband had the LEMON TART. The pudding was the best part of dinner. My husband was soo jealous of my dessert and ordered another one for himself to go. It was to die for. (Thank me later)I really enjoyed dining at this place. Josh was polite and the right amount of friendly. I just wish they had a full bar which we learned that is coming sometime in summer 2025. Cheers!

Anniversary occasion at the Spring Restaurant in Marietta was a success. Excellent food and service. We started with a crusty artisan bread with an amazing butter that was blended with herbs and salt. I could have made a meal of just the bread it was so tasty. The beet and fig salad was refreshing and light. Next we chose the Ajo Blanco a cold soup with sliced grapes and a delicious whitish base. Hard to describe adequately but suffice it to say very refreshing. My wife had the Cappelletti, which after tasting it I wanted more and will order it when we next go back. The pasta was so light and the sauce delicate and creamy.I had the flatiron steak medium rare that was cooked perfectly. This cut of beef is usually not as tender as others but surprisingly the chef at Spring did his/her magic and delivered a flavorful and very tender entree. For desert we had the lemon tart and rice pudding. With a cup of very nice coffee (Cool Beans) it was the perfect end to an amazing meal. The server Josh did a great job. Attentive but not overly obvious. Good job to all.The menu changes so I included a picture of it. Very small menu but excellently done. I would recommend checking out the menu prior to going to ensure the offerings were agreeable. The train going past the restaurant added a nostalgic element but may be seen by others as loud. I did not and enjoyed experience.

My husband and I went on Tuesday for their Korean pop up menu. We got the yukhoe, ddukbokki, and galbi tang. Yukhoe was very fresh and paired well with the pear and cucumber. Ddukbokki had a good amount of spice and flavor. My husband liked the galbi tang, but the radish was a little overcooked. The meat was very tender and soft. For dessert, we had the injeolmi sorbet. It was kind of like a korean bingsoo but with the sorbet texture. I really liked all the toppings - sliced almonds, rice cake, injeolmi powder, and rice cracker pieces. Service was prompt and friendly. Our server was attentive and came by to check up on us and fill our water and refill our side dishes as well.

We had a terrific dinner at Spring. This is a small foodie paradise with a rotating menu and private setting with highly attentive hosts. Short on the beer offerings but if you come here, you'll want wine or a top shelf bar drink. I selected a Riesling from the Alsace region of France to pair with our dinner, which was a beef dish and pasta dish. Additionally, I started with blue tuna flown in from Maine. The portions are not large and really just a selection of seasonal vegetables with the entree. We lucked out coming here without a reservation. What a fancy treat!

Spring, a charming, quaint restaurant off Marietta Square, serves beautiful and delicious food to rival any fine-dining restaurant in the Atlanta area. The small, artistic portions pack a punch of flavor, combing finesse, colors, textures, temperatures, and flavors intriguingly and inspiringly. The servers move undisturbingly, removing crumbs and refilling water before you even know you have a need. The menu changes often, so you are sure to get fresh, seasonal ingredients. While all the dishes were tasty, the fois gras, aged steak, and sourdough were unforgettable. Absolutely spend more than usual to make a special occasion memorably delicious.

The parking is a bit tricky with this restaurant. We accidentally get in a Marta parking that is right in front of the restaurant. We paid by the mobile app QR code. Though later, the server told us people don't really park there because the arm gate might not work randomly. Fortunately, we got in that parking area accidentally, so we didn't go through the arm gate, which apparently close. The restaurant is right next to the train track and opposite to the other side of the train track, you will see a big lot of public parking (which you can see from google map). I will recommend parking there and go across the railroad to the restaurant. It's a small cozy well-lit pace. With the upscale standard of the restaurant, I would expect they can mix some mocktail but they don't have a bar area so drinks will be strictly within the menu. Besides wine, they have very limited menu for non-alcohol drinks. Normally, I love a fruity mocktail when going fine dining. Luckily, their sparkling drink is tasty, but I do hope they have more options for non-alcohol drinks. The restaurant doesn't offer chef tasting menu which is a surprise to me because the restaurant is known in lots of foodie article and site as a chef tasting menu place. Maybe they just changed recently. We got checked on often by the server and manager. They're all knowledgeable about the menu and very professional. Table is cleaned often, as well new silverware is replaced often once they're dirty. That is something I highly value in fine dining which surprisingly isn't well practiced in several upscale restaurant. I've been to places where they serve dessert without cleaning up the table from entree dining ware and silverware. The menu is small, like 2-3 items each section so we tried all the appetizers and entrees that are available. The dish is on the high price for the portion, but I already know that coming in so it's not an issue. We had:- New Potatoes (Snacks): they have smoked salmon on top so if you can't eat raw textured fish, be careful.- Provençal white asparagus (Snacks): I think there's a bit too much hollandaise, comparing to white asparagus. Also, it's a cold dish which I wish I had known.- Foie gras torchon (Main)- Garganelli (Entree): this is the highlight of the dinner. It tastes very good.- Pan roasted Alaskan halibut (Main)- Roasted lamb loin (Main)- Chocolate, banana & hazelnut (Dessert)- Strawberry sorbet & goat milk ice cream (Dessert)The snacks are alright, different but not amazing. The highlight of our dinner is mostly in the entree and dessert. The train ran through when we were dining which was a lovely thing to see through the window. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with tasty food in a cozy restaurant. I would recommend the place.

We have tried many new and 'nice' restaurants in Atlanta this year and Spring was by far our best meal. I feel like we were initially unsure with such a small menu - but it was wonderful. Everything on each dish was so thoughtful and delicious. Even the bread service and butter were exceptional and memorable. And because they do change the menu quite often, we will absolutely return. The service was also great. Highly recommend coming here for a nice dinner!

I loved loved this place! The menu was so small and blended perfectly with the season. Our waiter was extremely kind and informative on what we were having which made the experience quite great. We had to order everything up front which made the experience feel very elegant. We tried to order one of each thing on the item, so that we can try more things. The food was exquisite! We loved everything we ordered and can not wait to go back and try the new menu when the season changes. The presentation for each meal was a work of art and I'd give this place 6 stars if I could. You could really tell the chefs in the back take their time plating each plate. The ambiance was quaint and comfy. The lighting was a tad bright for my liking but didn't bother me too too much. I will say it's a bit hard to find but follow the gps and you'll get right there.

Spring had been on my to-try list for over a year, and I finally made it there for a late dinner on Wednesday night. Overall, it was one of the best meals that I've had in awhile, and I'd highly recommend it. If you don't live near Marietta, it's still worth the trip.Spring served some of the best bites that i've had in Atlanta. The roasted duck entree was incredible -- perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and well-balanced -- it was the best duck that I've ever had. The peach salad was also incredible with unique and fresh flavors. I don't typically eat bread, so perhaps my standards are low, but their bread service was also delicious, and they didn't hesitate to bring more when asked. The best dessert was the parsnip & banana dish which didn't look that pretty but had a great combination of sweet and savory/salty flavors. I also tried the fazzoletti pasta dish which had an amazing, herbaceous sauce and umami mushrooms that tied the dish together. I also had the bluefin tuna "snack" (appetizer) which had a tasty sesame sauce, but two of the three pieces of tuna tasted a bit under-salted -- still good but I have high standards for nicer restaurants. The only dish that was a bit disappointing was the tarte tatin, which was basically apple pie with ice cream. It tasted fine but there was nothing special about it.... The apple pie and ice cream from Publix may be more exciting. Overall, however, Spring had some incredible food so order a few things and try them out. I also feel like it's reasonably priced for the dining experience with comparable prices to far less enjoyable restaurants closer to the city. The restaurant service was good -- attentive and professional but still friendly and not overbearing. The restaurant space is small, but it doesn't feel overcrowded; it feels comfortable and relaxed despite serving upscale cuisine.
