In the Gaslamp district. The small cafe is unique to its flavor and taste. I ordered the basic stitch with less sweetened, it was perfect, and aromatic. I really ought to try hot next time. The price is slightly on the high side. The cashier and barista were friendly. Order was quick and easy.Overall it's a 4.8 out of 5.

Stopped here on the way to Comic Con so understandably a long wait. I ordered the McLovin which was very good and was filled with eggs and sausage -- plenty to fill you up. The bagel itself was nicely done, mostly soft, but with a pretty good exterior. My main issue with this place is the exorbitant pricing. I would revisit only if there were no other options. A sausage, egg, and cheese bagel should not be $14, whether it's from San Diego, Philly, NYC, or otherwise (the latter 3 of which know how to throw eggs and sausage on a homemade bagel for $5-$6). Inside, the space was clean and modern and not too crowded. Value: 2/5Quality: 5/5Quantity: 5/5Service: 4/5Atmosphere: 5/5

Mixed-bag experience. Very unlikeable cashier guy. Gave me deer-in-headlights eyes followed by a "what?" when he couldn't hear my order (it's a bit echoey inside). Handed me my order with a monotone and rushed "enjoy." Stark contrast to the lady who later held the cashier role as she was friendly and sociable to other patrons. On the bright side, quite tasty bagel stuff here! Scrumptious crunchy strips of peppered bacon in the B.B.L.(t) sando. French toast bagel with bananas foster spread is a flavor wombo-combo, though I really wished that the spread was much thicker and sturdier (it was pretty messy to eat).Well-bodied and indulgent (but not overly sweet) la vida mocha. Notably strong too. O.T.P. cold brew was heavily watered down.Ehhh wanted to be part of the hype train for this spot but overall my visit was rather lukewarm.

Delicious coffee drinks (on the sweeter side). Everything bagel was chewy, covered with seasoning and toasted perfectly. Loved the cream cheese (flavor and amount) The oatmeal bowl was a bit small portion. Lots of seating, and tons of outlets if you need to get some work done.

I was staying in downtown for the weekend and saw this place looked popular so I had to try. First impression it was BUSY, the line came out the door. I came at 9:30am order 2 lattes and 1 bagel and overall wait time was 20 mins. They were pretty quick getting everything out. The ambiance is fun 'pothead' vibes waking up and having good energy. Plenty of bagel, cream cheese, and butter options to 'roll your own' I didn't order their bagel sandwich but saw someone else and it looked bomb, definitely have to come back and try it. I got a hot vanilla latte w/ oat milk and the basic sitch w/ oatmilk. The foam quality was good and the drinks weren't too sweet. The espresso did taste a little bitter but overall good. Definitely a must try but it's not the best latte I've had. Would come back thou to try more options!

Hate to spill the beans about this place, but it is a must try anytime you're in the area! Mclovin' on hash brown bagel is an absolute life hack!

A HOLE LOT OF FUN! Okay, so I was on the way to a Padres game and I came across this Spill The Beans! I just went to the one in Seaport the other day and I was so ecstatic! I walk in and immediately see the flavor of the month and it's an ube bagel! I'm very picky about ube as it's one of my favorite desserts and once again Spill The Beans absolutely nails their bagel crafting. The ube wasn't too sweet and was blended into the bagel perfectly. My bagel also came with some cream cheese mixed with ube flavor and it was pretty good, I think maybe they added a little too much cream cheese? Overall, it was still delicious and I got looks from passersby and fellow patrons lol. It's gorgeous! I also got my usual cold brew w/ oat milk, a couple of pins and a hat as I'm a major fan of this coffee shop! I highly recommend this place if you're in Downtown! The girl at the register was super friendly and professional! There's plenty of seating here both in and outside. If you want your city fix and want to people watch this is a good place to go to. Spill The Beans also connects to a bar, I'm not sure if it's owned by them but if you're looking for a drink afterwards it's literally connected to this coffee shop!

Love this spot! Spill the beans is right on the water in the heart of Seaport village. The lighthouse is too cute - and the cafe is fully outdoors. The menu is fairly large, I chose the La vida mocha with oat milk. This drink was delicious and well crafted. I appreciate when you can taste both the chocolate and espresso!Service was really quick too; and the tables outside seemed to be a hangout spot for dogs... a bonus for me!

Really great and friendly staff and great food and drinks. The guy at the front was so patient with me in explaining what was popular and what he would recommend. I decided to go with a chagaccino with oat milk (SO GOOD). It's not too sweet and has a great taste. I also went with a sundried tomato bagel with truffle parm spread. They give a nice, healthy amount of cream cheese. Lots of options of spreads and bagels to choose from.Additionally, their place and the bathrooms were nice and clean. Definitely would recommend and would come back again to try other things on the menu!!

We walked by and decided to stop in for some coffee and breakfast. The line was out the door but went by quickly. The staff were very friendly. Ambiance is like a trendy casual coffee spot. - Lox bagel (4/5): This was delicious. Good portion of smoked salmon, love the crunch with the cucumber and onion. - Mocha (4/5): Pretty sweet but good flavor overall.
