Spicy Boy's

To start off, I feel like I simply placed the wrong order at spicy bois. When you arrive you are facing a menu and the seating area is behind you. After I ordered almost everyone in the bar who was eating was eating a plate of crawfish. It looked really good and they make it on the patio.I don't like writing negative reviews, but after paying over $30 for a shrimp po boy and a can of Diet Coke with a modest tip and I feel like it's probably fair.There are way too many other options in Nashville for better food at a lower price point to ever consider coming back.If you are going, find out if they are making the crawfish and consider ordering that instead.It's a smaller space inside with a few tables located around the property. Everyone I talked to was very nice.The food tasted fine. The sandwich bread was delicious.This one missed the mark for me in many ways though. I didn't feel like it was a premium dining experience for a $24 sandwich. It didn't come overloaded with shrimp. The atmosphere was warm and fun but so are 100 other places in town.

There are a few places that are just too good to share - you drop the idea on the tourists & citizens when you move to another city because you don't want them to ruin your dining experience. Spicy Boy's is what I'm talking about. It's a source of lèche bon, Cajun delicacies including Po'boy's, boudin & andouille. Now, save yourself the +560-mile drive to Jacob's in Laplace, LA, and ya Mama and dem ease on over to Justen's house.

The gumbo was hot, flavorful, and full of meat. I couldn't recommend it more! For the price of the shrimp po boy, I feel there should have been more shrimp on there, and the potato salad was a little too heavy on the mayonnaise. The service was so-so. The person at the counter was super nice, but the bartender kept ignoring me every time I tried to order a drink. Took 20 minutes to get a drink! The front of the restaurant is very chill, and the back patio is also very relaxed.

Creole cooking with a homely feel in homely East-Nashville. What else can you need? Meat pie is flaky and rich. Gumbo is a bit disappointing, as it tastes burt to me, but otherwise is still pretty good. The real gems are the po-boys. The andouille po-boy specifically is top-tier! Great amount of wonderful tasting sausage, and the toppings complement it well. Not to mention the bread is perfectly soft and crunchy.

Spicy boys is sooooo good. Specifically, the seasoning on everything is awesome. You really can't go wrong but I usually get the shrimp poboy. The frozen drinks at the bar are awesome - pretty strong so beware. People are laid back and awesome, the vibe is cool especially the patio during good weather, and if you're wanting to watch a Saints game you've found the right place.

A great spot to stop in and grab a quick bite. Great seasoning, great taste, and an overall great bang for only a few bucks. Service is always good and the bar in the back is a great atmosphere to just hang out and be with friends. Always make sure to get a side of cajun fries!

It looks like just a house on the outside, but man is it delicious! You place your order first and sit down. My husband got a surf and turf po boy, and I got the fried shrimp platter. Both entrees were huge and packed with flavor. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the spices were tasty. The fries were crispy on the outside too. The servers were kind, and so were the bar tenders. The second half of the restaurant is a bar and is a great place to have a drink while waiting for food. Their drink pack a punch too! There are numerous tables inside and out as well. This is the best Cajun food in Nashville!

I Was visiting from Chicago for a few days. An ad on TikTok popped up about this place. It seemed interesting. So We tried it late on Friday night. It was fantastic! So happy we found this place. The po boy shrimp was fantastic and the gumbo was out of this world. I love the feel of the place, nice bar area as well. We had a drink there, over all great experience and the food was top notch!

The gumbo was not that great! However, the daiquiri's and the service was good! The people were nice.

OMGI live in Oakland Ca, which prides itself on being a foodie destination.Maybe !!!But the love and passion I felt when I first stepped foot thru the door was only something that could happen in the South!!The food and hospitality were the best!!! The fried shrimp, Gumbo, Sausage Po Boy, Shrimp Po Boy, Fries, and Tennessee Sour Mash Old Fashions made me fall in love.Nothing like being reunited with a past love (TheSouff).
