I work nearby, so I've been coming here for over a decade. I normally order their lunch special, which comes with a tom kha soup, salad, and wontons with an orange sauce that I don't remember the name of, but it's all delicious. My normal order is either the pad thai or the Panang curry. Both are very good. The chicken tends to come out a little dry, and I don't like eating beef on warm days, so I tend to opt for the tofu. I'm not a vegetarian, but I actually prefer the food with the tofu (they fry it, so the consistency is really yummy). The prices have gone up over the years, but that's to be expected with the times. The staff is always fast and helpful. The restaurant has lots of traditional Thai decor and art, which is pretty cool. I normally get it to-go, but it's still fun to stop by the front and grab some of the mints for the end of the meal.

Love this place on the normal. Had a bad experience and need to share. Had a dr exam at the clinic across the street so I was like let me reward myself. I open their website and selected order "toast" nothing about clothing housing or what can and couldn't be ordered. Orders the tofu spring rolls I love an a pad Thai. It's a $31 I get there a tad after 3 and they're closed. I'm confused bc my order went through on the appropriate time line. At some point a women looks and delays and as she knows she was walks my order, I apologized I didnt realize the hours. The app let me order. Ok after all that is done and I'm hungry. Punishment of a late order (that wasnt denied) came to a head. Pad Thai was terrible! Tasted like soy sauce as a base. Some veggies tasted like peanut sauce, the noodles were so over soaked in sauce and water they were mushy, no peanuts. Terrible! Turn your ordering system off ... duh! Horrible order : no desire to go back.

We had not been here in years.. we were craving Thai food for lunch and decided to stop by. Ambiance ok. Service good. Friendly staff. Took order relatively quickly. Food came out fast. Refilled water as needed. Lunch specials start at $16 for chicken, tofu, veggies... more for other options... come with soup, salad, two wontons and spring roll.Soup - flavor nice. Few pieces of carrot (weird texture) and peas Salad was yummy... I asked about the dressing.. it is house madeI would go back to Thai Pan in Encinitas next time we want thaiWontons delicious - I think they had potato fillingSpring rolls were okMixed veggies with red curry with tofu - something off about the flavor, tofu has great texture.. wish we had ordered the peanut sauce Pad see ew with chicken- disappointing - good size portion, but chicken had word texture and the noodles were not the thick fresh noodles you usually get.. but can't buy anywhere in San Diego... these seemed to be the dry flat rice noodles.

Been here a few times. Not my favorite Thai food but the portion sizes and prices are good. The Pad Thai and yellow curry are the best. The staff does understand allergies and is able to make accommodations for gluten free folks.

Decor is great ambience and our party came for lunch, we didn't know where we wanted to sit, one wanted outside, my friend wanted window and I was just trying to see what would be best for us 3. I was undecided either the cashew chicken or I the lunch pad Thai, but I opted for the phad thai, I felt the noodles was hard and the color had a yellow coat vs. what I grew up with even traveling to Thailand, it's very hard for me because my mom makes really good phad thai and for me I feel the seasoning was over seasoned yet not authentic to phad thai flavor is, also their soup was really sweet. The ambience is good. I like my flavors to be a little sweet and not as salty.

I got the BBQ pork pad thai at lunch and it came with fried wonton and spring roll. The pad thai was a little more saucy than usual, but it's not bad; it does not come with peanuts, so if you like peanuts to go with your pad thai like I do, you'd have to ask them for the spice tray. The portion is ok and I like the ratio between the protein and the noodles.I also got the Thai iced tea and it's also alright.Nothing really stood out but it's not a bad lunch place.

My team came here for lunch to celebrate birthdays and a work anniversary. It was six of us and we were seated as soon as we walked inside. They have a nice patio for dining outside as well. It is located in a shopping center complex so there is plenty of parking. Upon walking in, I was a little confused as it seemed that the front part of the restaurant is used as a storage/office or something because there were boxes and papers surrounding the area. It was sectioned off by folding shades. Our server was nice and greeted our table as soon as we sat down. They had the typical choices that I expected and enjoy! I decided to go with my go to which was the Pad see eyew with shrimp under the lunch specials which came with soup, two Wong tongs and an spring roll. The soup was the Tum kha soup which was very light and refreshing. It had a small kick to it which was a nice touch (not too spicy). Our main courses came out pretty quick after receiving the soup and I was not disappointed. My dish was very good and tasted as I expected. I didn't get much shrimp, maybe 6 pieces but overall it was a good dish. The flavors were there and I only did a 3 on the spice scale which goes to 10. It had just enough spice to go with the flavor without it being too spicy for me. Overall, it was a good experience and would definitely eat here again on my lunch break at some point in the future.

So I've been to two Thai restaurants within a span of a few days and this one was the better of the two food wise. I would've liked more of a spice hit. It isn't much decor wise - just a space with tables and chairs. The servers are nice. We got the Panang curry and the drunken noodles for 7/10 and 8/10 spice level. Both dishes tasted good. Good quantity also. Personally speaking though, I could've had more heat in both. I'll definitely be back and ask for a level 9 next time!
