Great price and quick service! We came in a Friday around 5. The space to dine in is on the smaller side. It's good for 2 people ideally, but can sit 4 people at one of the tables. For one of the rolls and a mango lasso it was 13.79.The rolls are smaller than a burrito, but pretty filling. I tried both the lamb and the chicken tikka. The flavor was good on the lamb, but I liked the bite of the chicken better than the minced lamb. Both were good though. While the taste was there, I wish there was a bit more freshness to the roll, maybe more sauce or more onions? It was a roll of mostly meat, which to most is probably a good thing. Mango lassi was great and thick, would recommend trying! Overall a place to stop by for good food, just wish there was more freshness to cut through the meat/richness. Looking forward to trying their other menu items! The fries looked amazing

The Cap Hill Spice Waala is a simple, inviting counter service type place with an easy-to-use takeout web platform. Just a half block walk up from the Safeway and the Kaiser Permanent North bldg if you happen to be there. My order was a mixed bag. The Kathi roll aloo tikka was tasty, but the chunks of potato inside were undercooked and thus crunchy. I had to pick them out, and the remaining sandwich with just some smashed potato patty was a bit sad. On the other hand, the snack masala aloo (spiced fries) are some of the best fries I've had anywhere in the city. The spice blend is really delicious and the cook on the fries is both super crispy and tender inside. These come with a green chutney that is also delicious. I even mixed some with Greek yogurt and put it in my deflated kathi roll--a big save.I had been eyeing their soft serve for a while and was excited to try it. When I went, their rotating special was a saffron pistachio ice cream; this is one of my favorite combos! The flavor did not disappoint, but I found the ice cream to be a tad too sweet overall. Will try other flavors for sure. I also had a masala chai, as I am always looking for unsweetened chai, and this was pretty good.

Spice Waala is one of my favorite places to come in Seattle! Prices are affordable, service is quick and friendly, food is always good! The Cap Hill location is nice and has some indoor seating. It's pretty casual and is great for takeout. Food + aloo tikka chaat - fried potato patty is amazing! + chicken tikka roll - very tasty! + masala chai - way better than Starbucks! + mango lassi - creamy and refreshingI've also had their soft serve and that's pretty good as well! Overall a huge fan of Spice Waala!

Spice Waala is a delightful Indian street food gem nestled in the heart of Seattle. I recently indulged in their Chicken Tikka Kathi Roll and Aloo Tikki Chaat, and they transported me back to the bustling streets of India with their explosive flavors. Each mouthful of Aloo Tikki Chaat offers a symphony of textures and flavors, ranging from the crispy tikki to the creamy yogurt and the vibrant tang of the chutneys. As for the Chicken Tikka Kathi Roll, the real star of the show were the tender, marinated chicken tikka pieces, which brought an extraordinary burst of flavor to every bite.Service was top-notch as well, with quick turnaround times and attentive staff. My only wish? More seating to savor the experience fully. Nevertheless, the portion sizes are generous, perfect for a snack, although for a full meal, you might want to consider ordering two items (just my opinion). Can't wait to explore more of their tantalizing menu offerings!

We came on a weekday right when the place opened. Service was quick and food was pretty good. There's bench and table seating inside available but can get full as the place gets busy. It was pretty quiet overall, music playing was chill too. The masala crispy fries were delicious! We asked them not to put the masala on it, but asked for it on the side. If you've had chaat masala, their masala tastes very similar to that. Not bad but we enjoyed the plain crispy fries with the side chutney. The chicken tikka roll was good. Not the best I've had, but overall spices and quantity was good. Prices are pretty decent here for the value!

We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was! I wouldn't consider it super authentic, but overall the food is very good. The service is also very friendly, we had a lot of random questions for the cashier and he was happy to answer them all.

Upon entering there was Indian music playing that truly made the ambiance of the restaurant! The service was quick and friendly! I ordered three items to go for a total of $20, very affordable! We got the aloo masala fries, aloo tikki chaat and paneer bhurji roll! I appreciated how the food was packaged so perfectly to go and I was able to enjoy the food elsewhere! My only recommendation is to order extra chutney!

If you're craving authentic Indian chaat, Spice Waala is the place to go! I absolutely adore all their chaat options, especially the aloo papdi chaat and bhel. Their paneer and aloo rolls are also delicious, although I've noticed that the taste can be a bit inconsistent at times--it's either amazing or a bit too gingery for my liking. One thing I love about Spice Waala is their rotational seasonal softies, which add a fun twist to the menu. While I found their tea to be a bit too gingery for my taste, I appreciated the traditional touch of serving it with biscuits--a classic combination in India. The service is consistently good, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The ambiance of the place is small yet vibrant, although seating can be limited at times. Overall, it's a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian Chaats!

Best Kathi rolls in the U.S.!!!!! The bread is so thin and soft. I tried the chicken and lamb roll and both were pretty good.I am glad they make it authentic.

If you're craving a kathi rollBe sure to stop by on your stroll,They don't skimp on the spiceand don't forget the fries! My friend and I had the kathi roll lamb kabab, fries, and snack aloo tikka chaat, and I 100% recommend all of those, and cannot wait to go back to try others on the menu. The lamb was well seasoned and tender, the fries had a nice crispiness to them, and the aloo tikka chaat was just a delightful mouth experience all around. It was my first time trying aloo tikka chaat, which is a crispy chickpea patty covered in yogurt, and sweet chutney. It truly was a delightful experience of well balanced flavors, and textures. I recommend dipping the fries in it as well, although it probably lands in the not-authentic side of things. The seasonal softserve was a saffron ice cream with pistachio sprinkled on top. The softserve was subtly sweet, touch savory, cool, and creamy; it was the perfect way to end a flavorful meal. I cannot wait to come back, and look forward to trying other seasonal softserve flavors!
