Whoa, this place packs a powerhouse of flavor in a tiny, 24-person restaurant. It's clean and tasteful. - - Here's the skinny:Head in and walk to the back. Grab a menu and sit down to peruse. When you're ready, head up to the counter and order. Head back to your seat. The hostess/server will bring you everything. - - I went for the chicken korma, garlic naan, and the Indian coffee.- - When I ordered, I asked if they had chicken korma since it wasn't on the menu. She confirmed they did. She asked how spicy I like it. I said medium because I'm terrified of what hot would actually mean. But there was no spice at all. It was delicious so it didn't bug me. Next time I'll ask for spicy and see what happens. And there will definitely be a next time! - - Indian Coffee - As best as I can tell, the Indian coffee was basically a latte. It was very tasty. - - One final note: on two occasions while I was in the restaurant for about 30 minutes, homeless or underrepresented people walked into the restaurant displaying abnormal behavior. The hostess dealt with them swiftly and conscientiously. Do not let this deter you!

This is an AMAZING restaurant. Found it while walking from the Pike place market. I went to India last year and this food was at the same caliber. Will always stop in when I visit!

This place has hands down the best Indian food I've ever had in my life. We were supposed to go to sushi down the street but ended up here and are sooo happy we did. We will be driving from lake stevens next time we want Indian food. It was quick and also the flavors were incredible. That tandoori chicken was unbeilable. I would give this place a 10 stars if I could. We also had the veggie pakora and that was wonderful too, and the daal soup. Legit the only downside of this place was I didn't get ice in my water lol

Wildly varied meal. Absolutely loved the fish pakoras and saag paneer. While tasty, the goat curry was more like curry flavored soup with a little bit of goat. The flavor was nice but it was disappointedly runny in consistency. The garlic naan was ok - was missing a little something - maybe needed a little more time in the tandoor? Unsure but I wouldn't order it again.Would give the curry another chance as it's the missus' favorite Indian dish. All in all - I'm kind of torn. Plenty of other places to choose from in this cuisine but the saag and pakoras were really good.

This is my FAVORITE Indian restaurant in all of Seattle! Why? Because it's a cross between great food, reasonable prices, and good service. The food: I've had their naan, samosas, veg pakora, chicken curry, chicken vindaloo, daal soup, chicken saag, and aloo gobi. My favorite is the chicken vindaloo. The chicken is very tender, and the dish is very flavorful. The potatoes are also very tender, and unlike most Indian restaurants in Seattle, hot means hot! Service: The service is great! I can't believe how quickly they could bring food out - especially since I've gone in while they're slow and know they make everything fresh to order.Prices: Very reasonable prices for an Indian restaurant in Seattle - especially for downtown. Portion sizes are just a little on the small side but not bad at all!Atmosphere: While the place may not have the best or upper end ambiance, I think it's quite nice. It is a bit more of a hole in the wall, but it still feels nice inside and you can look out their window and see folks passing by.

This restaurant is one of my absolute favorites. Their chef's special is the best deal you will find downtown, bar none. $9.99 for a huge portion of curry (usually chicken), plenty of Naan, rice, salad, and a canned soda or bottled water. My husband and I split the meal and always have leftovers to take home. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh and piping hot. Worth it at three times the price. The lovely lady that greets and takes orders is very friendly and remembered us and our preferences after a couple of visits. I couldn't recommend this place more!

My husband and I went here for lunch. The decor/ambiance isn't much to look at and it was a bit chilly, but the food was decent and the people there were really kind and helpful! We had veggie pakora and samosa chaat to start. The chaat wasn't the best I've had, it was okay. The sauces with the pakora were my favorite part.We had saag paneer and keema naan for our meals. Both were fine.

Not gonna lie, I love this place so much. They're soooo very friendly here, expedient, and you cannot go wrong with their Tikka Masala with garlic naan. Also, being right by Pike Place Market - it is easy to shop till you drop, then pop by for a great meal. Family friendly!

Small venue for up to 20-24 people. Walk in and you are immediately greeted by the aroma! Definitely authentic dishes! If you enjoy India House in Portland, OR the food options are almost identical, if not better. You must order up at the counter!
