Spice Delight

I just had the Peshwari naan and lamb kadhai from Spice Delight and...*chef's kiss* I cook Indian food often at home and was intrigued when I biked by Spice Delight. I placed a takeout order and biked over, since it's so close to home. The Pashwari naan is delicious! The naan itself is light and fluffy, and the sweetness was such a great complement to the spice of the lamb kadhai. I've often found at Boston-area Indian restaurants the spices tend to be muted--not the case here! I ordered the spicy version (not the very highest level, but the second highest spice level) and am over here sniffling a little bit. In a good way!It's quite a generous portion, and the lamb is lovely and tender. Each of the spices pops, yet all of them blend into a beautiful, flavorful melange.I. Will. Be. Coming. Back. Here!

Delicious food. I got two meals out of what I wanted from our family order. Lots of tastes and textures. Great basmati rice.

Great neighborhood indian restaurant. The chicken chilli is good, the chicken khadai is good, the chicken jalfrezi is good, the chicken pakoras are good and so is the garlic naan. I have not had anything else besides these things because I cant do dairy, dont like (whole) chick peas, dont like lentils and am a creature of habit in general.FYI sometimes on the weekend the kitchen is sloooow. Be prepared. They do a robust takeout business in addition to having a small dining room.

Highly recommended by friends so went here. Must say, they have good food! Vegetable Manchurian- ooh myy goddd!!!! Didn't expect this to be so good outside of India! Loved it! Perfect amount of gravy and sauces with the Manchurian! Loved it! Malai Kofta - again, yummmmyyyy!!! Awesome gravy, perfectly cooked, flavorful! They serve it with rice. Garlic naan- soft and nice! They also have good music playing on the TV!

My experience at this small Indian restaurant was fair. The dishes had an average taste, lacking the distinctive flavors that often define Indian cuisine. The ambiance was simple, providing a no-frills setting. Service was prompt, but the culinary offerings fell short of leaving a memorable impression. With some adjustments to enhance the flavors and perhaps introduce more variety to the menu, this restaurant has the potential to improve and offer a more satisfying dining experience.

Some of the absolute best Indian food around in my opinion. My family and I are Indian food connoisseurs, and we have been going back to this one again and again. Their coconut naan, chicken tikka masala are some of our absolutely favorites.

Have been ordering almost exclusively from Spice Delight for Indian and it has been fairly consistent. Tonight the chicken tikka masala was too overly sweet and mataar paneer bland. Samosas we're still good.

Delicious food and the nicest people work there. They have excellent customer service. We usually order Indian Food for birthdays and other celebrations where we have a large gathering and the owner or manager always throw in a delicious mango pudding or comp a lassi for the birthday girl. It's my favorite local Indian restaurant!!

BY FAR, the BEST Indian food anywhere! Authentic and delicious. I've been coming to Spice Delight since it opened and have never been disappointed. The folks who serve are always pleasant, the service is quick and efficient, and the restaurant, though small, always feels like you're visiting someone at home, very friendly. Whether dining in or taking home, the food, quantities, and service are always exceptional!

Ordered takeout from here a couple of times and the Matar Paneer and Malai Kofta were delicious. The breads (roti and naan) could be better!
