The place isn't obvious when I reached there. Even drove past it and missed it when I got there. However, the staff was very hospitable and welcoming. I ordered a fried noodle and a vegetable soup. The soup was delicious. The noodle didn't look appealing but tasted really good and very spicy. Although I was informed that it was spicy, but it was still spicier than I thought. Great food overall.

This is our go to place for Thai food. When we moved to the Metro West from Allston years ago we found that the one of the things we missed was authentic Thai food. Well about a year ago we stumbled upon Spice and Pepper. The service is great. The food is amazing. The dine in experience is great but a no frills approach. I'm only adding that so you won't be disappointed when you see it. Very clean and again the food is amazing.

Wow what amazing food! I stopped here on a whim and the food was great! I got the noodle tender beef and added shrimp to it for an extra $4. The dish was so tasty and everything was cooked perfectly! The portion was generous and I think doing a family style meal would be perfect! The place is pretty small and the kitchen is right next to the dining area so the air is kinda smokey. I think the food quality will be as good with takeout. If this place wasn't so far I'd get takeout all the time from them all the time!

We have ordered take out from Spice and Pepper many times.My family and I have tried Thai and/or Thai fusion spots all around MA. Wayland's Spice and Pepper has consistently produced some of the best Thai take out dishes in MA. The kitchen is often very busy with take out orders - we are not alone in our strong positive opinion of this place!Our top dishes:Crispy rolls Savory noodles with sliced chicken Green curry with steamed tofu Masaman curry with sliced chickenNote: Pad Thai is one of the weaker dishes (in our perspective) don't let this fool you - other dishes are much stronger!

Small spot with big taste! There are 3 levels for hot and sour. I got the least spicy which is named "spicy" so I can only imagine how hot the other two are!I really think the pad Thai is very good. Not too sweet and the noodles were really nicely done.The sauce in the chicken pineapple was very tasty as well. Also they seem to be open and willing to deliver slightly later than other Wayland places

I grew up in Bangkok and lived there for over a decade, Spice & Pepper is hands down the best Thai food you can get in the area. There may be a few places in the city that are better, but even in Boston this place would be well above average. What really stands out is the wok hei they achieve, a very particular, vaguely smoky flavor from cooking in a wok on high heat. Truly excellent.
