Sperry's Restaurant

This was our first time dining here. I have to say it was beyond our expectations. They asked what we were celebrating/why we were there, and I said my spouse is getting deployed. The manager David came over to say thank you for your service and even took our picture and had it printed out for us to keep. Our server John was remarkable, the food was mouth watering delicious and the environment was the perfect dining ambiance. We are certainly going to go back and decided this will be our new date night restaurant.

Update. How could I not have given this local all-star a big old 5/5 when I first reviewed? Well, let me reintroduce myself. Yes. 5 . Food. Service. Old school ambience. It's all here. This is my favorite crab cake, prime rib, loaf of bread, coconut cake and tableside bananas foster anywhere. From special occasions to date night, Sperry's is calling!!

This was my first time visiting here. Came to celebrate my grandads birthday and had a great time. Service was prompt. Our serve was very familiar with the menu and was able to offer some good options. I feel like we tried a little of everything, but I only got pictures of a few things. The restaurant is dimly lit so prepare to use your cell phone light lol. It's kinda tight in the dining areas. Our table was rather close to another large party so it made it hard getting up from the table hoping you didn't bump the guest behind you. The servers seemed to struggle in this area as well from reaching over people in various ways. I would totally come back here though. This was like a hidden gem to me, but from the foot traffic this place is very popular. Would be a great spot for a little dinner date or family dinner night. They didn't seem to have a dress code, but I would at least look fairly presentable coming here though.

My husband brought me here for my birthday and we loved it! The food was delicious and the service was delightful. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the crab cakes melted in your mouth. Our waiter was so attentive and friendly. They also give a free birthday dessert which was appreciated.

To start, Jonathan was fantastic. My boyfriends steak was quite a bit over cooked for a medium rare but Jonathan was so caring and understanding that it was not quite to par. When it was remade, it was literal perfection. My filet and lobster was amazing. The scallops and lamb? Cooked incredibly. What made our experience 10x better was Jonathan.

We went here on a couple date. Three couples and we all enjoyed the food. Lamb chops, filet mignon, ribeye, and chicken. No complaints across the table. The salad bar is a must have. It actually had us beyond full. Everyone had food wrapped to go. Make sure you save room for dessert. The banana foster is everything! They make it right in front of you. Reservations are basically required unless you want to wait at the bar.

Fantastic place! Came here for my husbands birthday after several friends had recommended it. The service, food, and atmosphere were all top notch. Do yourself a huge favor and get a reservation- does not matter the day or time either. We had a 5:30 reservation on a Thursday night and this place was wall to wall! The service and our waiter were absolutely spectacular. I had a spicy margarita martini to start off of their happy hour menu (goes until 6) and it was great - $14. Most entrees come with the option of a wedge salad, Caesar salad or the salad bar. I opted for the Caesar and it was delicious. The salad bar is similar to Ruby Tuesday. Complimentary bread also comes with the meals. A few people in our group got prime rib, I had the snapper special, and my husband had a filet. We ordered the lobster Mac and twice baked potato as sides and they were great! Large portions and delicious. Lastly, for dessert they brought out their sticky toffee pudding with a candle for my hubby. It was out of this world- so rich and delicious! The rest of us got the bananas foster for 2 and split it amongst 4 people- it was more than enough and the presentation and preparation were so fun to watch. They cook it right at your table. Flames and all! Totally worth it.Highly recommend!!

First time I ate at Sperry's. A bit confusing when you walk into the bar to get a drink before dinner. All bar stools were taken and the only opening was for servers only. Bartender and wait staff extremely nice though. Got seated in the bar by the fireplace, very cozy. The salad bar was underwhelming, my date had really talked it up. I think I'd prefer they bring me one next time. I had steak frites, delicious! The cosmopolitans were just perfect. Great old time steakhouse with good food, professional staff, and bananas Foster!

Had the blackened fish with king crab and mashed potatoes the food was on their special list tonight and very delicious $42 plus #tip

Our family loves a great steak and a family-friendly venue. Let's get into the review. We did not have reservations, and we went on a Saturday evening after a Globetrotter game. The wait was an hour, seats were available, and you could order drinks and sit at the front while you waited! The aesthetics are vintage/rustic and welcoming, and the lighting is dim. If you're blind, use your phone light like I did. The table seating was very compact, with limited space between tables. The music was appropriate but relatively loud. Now that food was terrific and we all enjoyed our meals, even our teenager who does not like steak! He gave the salad bar a 10/10! It's nothing fancy but enough! Honestly, it reminded me of the original Pizza Hut salad bar from the early 90's. Nothing fancy; buy enough to make a good salad! Our steaks were cooked to the right temperature. If we could change anything, it would be our interaction with the host and server's first interaction. The server was better as our evening continued. Advice:Make reservations There is a "dress code." business casual Don't forget there is a butcher shop in the back parking lot.
