Spee-D-Tee's BBQ & Subs

On December 17th 2023 arrived at this place at 11 AM and it's closed, not a car insight. I hate when people advertise stuff on Yelp, and they don't even know if they're opener clothes. This is ridiculous.

A small black owned business with BANGIN BBQ!!You won't be disappointed. I would recommend the delicious hot link sandwich or the pulled pork. There are tons of combos you can get here for a moderate price. I've never had dry meat here and you can chose mild, spicy or very spicy sauce to accompany your meat!!!This restaurant has an old diner vibe with the checkered floors and memorabilia on the walls. One of my favorite places to eat and never super busy.

While meeting at a nearby business, the proprietor recommended Spee-D-Tee's for lunch, while we waited for our flight, back to Seattle. The pulled pork sandwiches were delicious, and we enjoyed their mild BBQ sauce. The 1950's diner décor is bright and inviting, with matching period Formica top tables. The lady who served us was very personable, all in all, a great place to eat! We will be back, next trip to Phoenix.

Small little shop off of 40th street and south of university drive . This is your mom and pops bbq spot with tasty abs fresh bbq! The owner was super sweet and nice! She actually prepped my meal! The bbq sauce was tasty that blended well with my beef brisket sandwich.

Amazing!!! Found it by yelping bbq and man it was delicious!!!! So much meat on the sandwich and the sauce was amazing!!!! Quality and low cost!!!

This is the best bbq I've ever had. The brisket melted on my tongue. It was so good I'm calling it my spot. The pit boss ted is a pro. Best beans. Get the beans!!!

This place is one of the Best BBQ joints in Phoenix!Ted is one Polite gentlemen and will take first timers threw his Family Old recipes and tell you any Specials for the day. I had the Jumbo Brisket and Beans. The brisket was simply some one of the best I've had and served on a delicious white Roll. The Beans have chunks of meat in them with a lot of down Home flavor. Whatever which way you want it, Ted will serve it Up...! Awesome place, with even better Food !!! Great Homemade BBQ Sauce also.*Take note Phoenix, Ted knows BBQ and Customer Service!

Today I stopped by for lunch, we and my crew enjoyed the food it was smokey and juicey, with a side of coslow salad i enjoyed every bite yummy food highly recommend

I am a BBQ affcindo and have enjoyed BBQ across the country. That be said this is a hidden gem. The environment is clean, bright and always has sport related commentary on several televisions. Crystal, continues to turns out perfectly smoked ribs, rib tips, chicken and beef. The brisket is right on the money and the sauce melts into the food without overpowering. Being and Illinois/Missouri kid, I have plenty of years of grilling, smoking and what some call queen, this by far surpasses, the larger box franchises, check it out you will not be disappointed!
