Great staff, reasonable prices and definitely a great place to go to chat it up with the locals. Not the cleanest, and I have never eaten here but if you're looking to play the jukebox, or the free pool table or just make new friends this is the place to go. Keep in mind, this is a tiny bar in a tiny Town so keep your expectations in check.

Must be 21+.Spar Tree offers a dart board, music, TV's, an ATM machine, pool tables (2), full bar and free WiFi.Food is standard bar food, deep-fried or burgers.My wife and I each started with a Manny's for $5 each.We shared the Alaskan Cod (2 pieces) & Chips for $9.50. The fish was panko battered and served nice and crispy. The fish wasn't greasy at all. The fries were well seasoned and firm. I dislike soggy hand-cut fries. I was pleasantry surprised to receive Broccoli Slaw in place of standard coleslaw.The only complaint that I have about Spar Tree is that I was over-charged for the fish. Menu lists the price as $9.50 and we were charged $12.50 instead. Our server promptly corrected the over-charge once I brought it to his attention.Overall, my wife and I will return in the future for refueling after playing in the area.

Great service. Great bartenders. Hometown crowd. Don't come if you're looking for trouble or high class snobbery. Thursday, Friday, Saturday nights have the best bartenders. Melinda is great and the male bartender there are both great. Food is pretty good.

Much better than what I was expecting! I went in on weekday and everyone was very chill and the prices are reasonable. Cheers

Little hole in the wall bar located in a small town with just over a population of 4,000, not to busy yet not to dead it's the perfect Friday night experience in a small town bar

In town from NC for a wedding. Spouse was hangry and we needed an attitude adjustment ASAP. This is a local joint in a small town, could have been one of those "uneasy rider moments", but we were welcomed the minute we walked in. Super friendly bartender, cold beers, great burger, a famous Spar Dog, and some interesting folks--attitude adjusted.

Tried to love this place. Small town hang out. Have it a few tries. The food was tasty but the employees made us feel unwanted. We probably won't go back.

i'm pretty sure there is no karoke cuz if there was i'd be all over it but the food was good and so was the drinks and the service as well

This is the local dive bar with great bartenders and good food, nice covered outside seating.
