Our go to hole in the wall, get it an go, sit in the lot and vibe with folks while you wait for your food spot!!! Lol!!! I can't speak past the fried fish and wings but that alone is enought to say it's been fire every time we go. The batter was seasoned, the food was fresh, the portions are enough. They understand if you only want sauce on your fries and they get it if you ask for hot & mild drenched...lol! Fried hard?? They got you! Lol!I hate that they closed the one outside ATL on Holcomb Bridge, but it is what it is.

I stopped by Spanky's Chicken & Seafood on the Eastside...Decatur to be exact!!First things first you must get a Frozen Slushie Lemonade mix 10/10 they are so good, I got all 3 flavors mixed.Entrees- Fried Turkey Ribs w/cabbge & Yams...the fried ribs 10/10 but I could do without the sides- Cajun Chicken and Brococoli Pasta ... 8/10 and very well seasoned- Seafood Broil #12 Crabs Legs Cluster, Shrimp, Corn, and Potatoes- Stuffed Turkey Leg w/Mac and Collard Greens....the Turkey leg is seasoned to perfection and the meat fall of the bone. Turkey leg 10/10 for sure and I will be back for more!If you ever on the Eastside go check them out!

Honestly it was the only thing open on this side and I've heard the commercials so I rolled the dice. I was disappointed. I got wings added fish and a side of mac n Cheese. The grease wasn't fresh so my good wasn't all that and to make it worse my Mac n Cheese should have been named Garlic Mac n Cheese.. All I could taste was the garlic powder. The service was good...the peach slush was good too. IDK if I'll try this again.

The best food and service ever!! Seasoned to perfection and falling off the bone! 2nd time having this meal and it hasn't disappointed. So darn delicious! Chill atmosphere and vibe.

Spanky's Chicken & Seafood Lounge is located at 2504 Candler Road Decatur, GA 30032. As of Tuesday, April 30, 2024 there Health Score is 92 = A. Big Lexy took our order and she was extremely friendly. Mr. Spanky was in the Building and we got a chance to meet him personally. See photos. Today we ordered 2 piece Tilapia Fish with onion rings. It was delicious!!!The ambience was crispy with Jazz music pumping through the speakers. My only negative was the tartar sauce. They need a homemade tartar sauce, the packets were not good. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to my family and friends and I'll definitely go back again to try other menu items. Enjoy!!!

Spanky's Chicken & Seafood Lounge wowed with its succulent turkey leg, complemented by indulgent sides of mac and cheese and greens. However, the lemonade missed the mark. Overall, a savory experience with room for drink improvement.

I stopped by on a weekday afternoon and they weren't busy at all. There were mostly pick up orders. I got the turkey leg with mac & cheese and greens. The meat on the turkey leg was so tender! I also got one of their lemonade slushes which was really refreshing.

My friend sent me they IG page and the food looked so good. We decided to go the next day. They are right of hwy 20 and candler rd. I had to get that infamous Turkey leg. When I say this leg big as hell lol bout the size of a baby leg. It was so good and well seasoned. Sides were good as well I love how they made sure they seasoned they food. I'll def be going again. Next time I'm going for their chicken and waffles. Oh and the server was super cool and helpful def a friendly environment....... I have to mention that it was very hot inside so they had the doors and several fans running. The actual causes flies to come into the restaurant, which was very unappealing. The area around had a bad smell. This is more of a takeout restaurant.

Me and my wife paid a visit to the restaurant. We've been wanting to try this place out for awhile now. Great music selection, good decor.... we ordered salmon Alfredo w/broccoli and catfish fried hard w/fries. We got our food.... let's just say, I was HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!! I hate when these restaurants call swai, catfish!! Like nobody will know the difference. Fish was ok, fries weren't cooked enough for my liking. Salmon Alfredo, was trash in my opinion. You can't believe everything you see online!
