Southern Taiwan

We went for lunch. It was packed and it's a pretty big restaurant. The food is amazing. The filling has taste.

The popcorn chicken is better than most taiwanese cafe in town, and comparable to those being served in Richmond BC (aka Asian foodie town of PNW). I like all the sides that come with the bento box. Would be nicer if there's some sauce for the rice cause it feels a little dry. Definitely want to come back to try the other bento boxes!

As far as food trucks go, not the best. The chicken basil stew did not taste of basil. The rice was not a great texture. It was served with a big pile of frozen mixed vegetables (mostly corn) and overcooked, soft, broccoli. Maybe from Costco? Reminded me of cafeteria food from elementary school. Kimchi was meh on flavor. It was edible. I will say that.

Affordable price and yummy Taiwan style food. You must try it! It's close to ARCO gas station.

Grody. Was served mediocre chicken katsu and a big pile of frozen mixed vegetables like you got from the cafeteria as a school kid. I'm pretty sure in Southern Taiwan they don't nuke a bag of US-style mixed vegetables. Beh.

Short visit to Seattle and been trying different food truck. Passing by this one and noticed there was quite a long queue so thought to give it a shot. However, quite disappointed as it didnt not anywhere near an authentic Taiwanese food despite its name is Southen Taiwan Bento. I ordered Hainan chicken bento. It was not a full chicken leg but shredded chicken. It tasted nothing like Hainan chicken and they used quite a lot of spicy sauce on the shredded chicken so I didn't really taste anything but spicy only. Not recommended.
