South Side Pizza Kitchen & Pub

Grabbed a quick dinner at south wide on the way out of the Airport. It was a great stop, definitely a hidden gem of Nashville. The service was fast and friendly. Lots of drink options, and delicious food. My party had the Brussels sprouts, fish and chips, and tacos. Everything was great. The fries were a bit soft, not my favorite, but that's fine.The environment was welcoming. I loved that there was free pool and Mario Kart for those who wanted to hang out longer. There were lots of TVs for catching a game. Anywhere you sat, TV's were within view. Awesome spot!

HORRIBLE.. DO NOT GO HERE.Came in for lunch and had been waiting for over an hour. NO MANAGER came over to apologize or offer to discount meals.... We had 10 people with simple sandwich orders. The place was not crowded at all....AND they had the BALLS to add on an automatic 20% top... They deserved ZERO tip. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I discovered this restaurant using Yelp. I had the double burger and it was delicious. It had all of the toppings you would want. The best part of the meal was the fries! You could tell they were fresh cut and crispy. They were amazing! Overall, the air conditioning was not working properly, so it was pretty hot inside, but the service was great and the pricing was comparable to other places.

This place was packed on their Thursday Night Trivia! Every table was taken, so we ended up sitting on the couch, and the staff was so accommodating and brought over extra chairs for us. The waitress was amazing and let some of us sample a tap drink before ordering to make sure we would have the best experience possible. I ordered the blackberry slush cocktail and a slice of cheese pizza, both were as expected. Trivia Night was very fun!

Went here for lunch and it did not disappoint. The food was hot, fresh and cooked to order. The server took great care of us. Parking can sometimes be hard to find behind the building because it's a shared lot with other businesses. It's definitely a great restaurant to check out.

Randomly found this restaurant on a Sunday night and could not be happier with our choice.Josh at the front of the house could not have been nicer, the food was excellent, and they had a great selection of bourbon. Highly recommend

Just two miles beyond the periphery of downtown Nashville lies South Side Pub on Nolensville Road. With hard working employees, an extensive menu, and a beautiful and spacious outdoor patio, half of which is shaded, it's a great spot to hang out with large parties.The ratings on all platforms are a shockingly inflated though, perhaps reflecting the alcoholic selections rather than the food. The kitchen offerings are less than impressive, so going here for a drink with friends is probably preferable to planning an actual meal here. The Italian beef sandwich is devoid of flavor, only briefly intriguing with occasional bites of giardiniera relish amidst the bland beef and cheese on an average bun. The fish and chips aren't bad, but while the fish is fresh, the crispy batter is surprisingly underwhelming in flavor.The pub is severely understaffed, so it could take as long as two hours to receive your food during peak hours. But the few employees are incredibly pleasant and very hard working. So please be patient and enjoy hanging out.

Burger Week. Had the bramble jam melt as part of burger week. There are a lot of ingredients with this one but it was surprisingly good. You would think that peanut butter, Brie, garlic blackberry jam, fried jalapeños, on jalapeño cheddar toast, and, of course, a hamburger patty would be overwhelming. However they blended together well with no single flavor standing out but coming together as a savory meal. I could have used a slightly bigger burger patty but it was only $7, so a nice value to boot. Julie was a great server and an overall enjoyable dining experience.

I've been twice and plan to go back this week, for one big reason - the happy hour. Getting drinks priced like this takes me back to Nashville of the 2000s. Such a treat!I had the Reuben last time I was there, and it was good. Even if the food were the equivalent of a smoking turd, I'd give this place five stars for the happy hour. Do yourself a favor and try it out.

They've changed their menu and now I wouldn't recommend coming to eat here. Staff can be nice but service is so slow. Hard to get refills and all the things you need in a timely manner. Might take a while before getting a bar drinks. We used to come here more often for burgers and the buffalo wrap but they changed that menu up.
