South Lake Pizza

Just moved to Lake Stevens and figured we'd give a local pizza place a shot and it was worth every penny! Pizza was hot and well cooked. Wings were on point and had the right amount of sauce. A bit more costly than more commercial pizza places, but it's definitely worth paying for quality. This will now be our family's go to pizza place.

Love south lake pizza! They have been around forever! They are ALWAYS consistent on their food. And their service is 10/10. The other night we ordered food at 7:30 not realizing they closed at 8... and they STILL fulfilled the order and we're so nice about it. Not a single rude side comment or remark or anything. I would have canceled if I would have known!! And the food was phenomenal still! we ordered the hot wings which were 10/10 cooked perfectly they are very saucy so you have to like that!, and Philly pizza--- which if you haven't tried I would have to say it's one of the best on the menu, their white sauce is to die for. And the meat they put on it has this perfect salty bite. I wish I got photos but I ate it all too quickly haha

Let me start by saying the guy who finally answered the phone was nice, helpful and apologetic. The young man that delivered our pizzas was nice and apologetic. We ordered 3 pizzas and cheese bread from SLP. The receipt said it was due to us one hour from ordering it. After an hour and 12 mins I call to check on it. Unfortunately, the number on their website rang and then said the number was disconnected. This happened 3 times. I checked google and then tried the number their google site had listed. Tried it 3 times, it rang and hung up. Okay, thinking I am now getting scammed I go back to their website to double check the number. In the mean time I get a text that says my pizza just got out of the oven and will be on its way in 10-20 mins. What!!!I decided to try the phone number again. Alas, the original works. The young man on the phone was apologetic. When I asked if delivery normally takes over 90 mins he explained that on Mon and Tuesday they only have 1 driver and they had been pretty busy tonight with orders. He did say my order was the last to come out so it "should be" fresh when it arrived. The driver arrived about 1:45 mins after ordering. Our pizza was fresh and it was good. The cheesy bread was not either of those and was even cheese side up , smashed to the top of the cardboard. I do not think we will return here. The pizza was good but not good enough to deal with that kind of wait when you are 3 miles down the road. I could consider picking it up but from reading the reviews here it doesn't sound like it would have worked out any better.

Always consistent and always delicious! Haven't had an issue yet. Service is always quick and they are generous with the toppings!

Pizza is great. When you live close don't do delivery. Thanks to the app they provide I was the third or fourth delivery.

So it's been a couple years and I wanted to retry, and it was so much better. We got the Italian grinder and it was fabulous, and a half Dubuque half Yupee Supreme with white sauce, really delicious. Even though the veggies on the supreme were pickled, they were still SO good they were better than most pies I've had, and the white herb sauce was super yummy. Original crust was very decent. And thank God, they're not shy with the cheese still. Wish the website would describe the crusts and sauces better so I could explore more. Sadly, the delivery fee is now $6, but I guess that's par for the course now.

I just picked up a pizza from this place and I noticed when I walked in, there's cobwebs on the shelves where they put the pizza after you're done, they haven't cleaned in a long time. Stay away from a place it this. You can get very sick

It's either some of the best pizza you've ever had, or some of the worst. The problem is consistency. When it's good it is my favorite pizza in LS, when it's not I just feel like I'd have been better off getting something from the grocery store frozen pizza aisle. Honestly can't tell you when/why the quality is so all over the place.

Flu-stricken, wrong address, and a sheepish apology - that's the recipe for a grumpy delivery driver, right? Not at South Lake Pizza! Yesterday, on Christmas Eve, their driver went above and beyond, delivering my pizza with a smile even though I'd messed up royally. Talk about compassion when they could have been rightfully peeved......even sliding in a "have a merry Christmas" at the end.This wasn't just about the pizza (which was delicious even through my sniffles). It was a reminder of why I chose South Lake Pizza: they hire people who care, not just cogs in a delivery machine like the others who use third party delivery. They treat customers like neighbors, not just numbers.So, a huge thank you to South Lake Pizza and their amazing driver for order #42. You turned a grumpy Christmas Eve into a heartwarming one. You're the reason I keep coming back for pie, and I'll be sure to spread the word about your kindness.

Not sure why exactly but my family doesn't appreciate this joint as much as I do. Maybe the cheese quantity or maybe the crust. I enjoy a nice deep dish like crust that is kinda yeasty and crunchy. They're close to a great balance of all but a little short. The toppings are delicious and sauce is always on point. I love the amount of cheese but my family thinks it's too much. We've eaten here a few times as a family but I've been quite a few times more. I think this is as close to an old school pizza place like pietros or shakeys. The staff are all friendly and respectful. 100% worth a try! Other than pizza, they have some other really good options,
