Sonic Drive-In

Kids who work here are rude as hell, food is NOT good, and they do not care. It could be nice with their big, inside space, but they've all checked out. NOPE!

I walked into sonic in Anthem, and I don't know if one of the servers was on break, but she was just chatting with some guy and I waited for five minutes to get some thing to order and nobody showed up. She saw that I was waiting and then I walked out in a bit of a huff and of course she didn't do anything.I have no idea how the food tastes, and at this point, I probably never will given this poor level of service . It is disappointing that so many that I see that are new to customer service. Just don't understand and are not being taught.I think I understand now why there is an overall score of two stars. Apparently ownership doesn't really care. .

I had attended the local festival and stopped by sonic for 2 waters and a small fry for my child. I arrived at 9:37pm with closing time being at 10pm. I was behind 4 cars and a golf cart. The gentleman in front of me waited at the order screen for multiple minutes just waiting for his order to be taken, this staff pushing thru the 3 cars and 1 golf cart in front of him thru. Staff took his order and then I pulled up to the box- time now being 9:55 pm and was told "we are closing and won't be taking your order" and I replied "i have been waiting for over 15 minutes now and you're going to refuse to take my order?" Staff response was "yes, it's closing time and this is what happens when you all get in line at closing time" staff was rude, extensive wait times, and it seemed like it was a bother for my vehicle to be in line attempting to place an order. I could understand if they said "our fryer is closed" and I could have just ordered my waters and left. However, staff didn't allow me the option to even attempt to place my order even waiting in line for so long. I will not be returning to this location and I spoke with corporate to ask about closing procedures which apparently they do not have access to which I find very odd and unprofessional. I will be following up due to the fact that the staff still had 5 minutes left to take my order and allow me to leave as a happy customer.

Elijah is the best!! We came 10 minutes before closing and he was such a homie. We joked around with him and he made our food so quickly. My grilled cheese was fresh and delicious. 10/10 give this man a raise!

I was in the area so decided to grab lunch. Felt like getting a burger and tater tots. I went through the drive thru which was hardly any wait. I got the double cheeseburger, small tater tots and small diet Dr Pepper. Total was closed to $12. Tots were decent, burger meh. Nothing special. Staff was friendly. They do. It have drive in stall. Just drive thru and sit down.

Ordered chili cheese fries and a corn dog, the corn dog was old and tough and the fries had no chili and what looked like a piece of American cheese melted on top. They were also soggy and cold. :( very sad. This Sonic has lost my business.

I love sonic but I hate this sonic. They are so so so slow. You could literally eat out at a fast food restaurant and finish your meal before sonic is done cooking your food and gets it out the window for you. Unfortunately sonic is the only thing in anthem that stays open late. First off, don't offer Mobil pick up if the front doors are going to be locked and we have to still sit in a drive thru full of people. what's the point of ordering ahead on the Mobil app. I always have to still sit in a long line to get my food. The people who work here, you get what you get when you go. It depends who's working. When I'm ordering, they are just rushing and don't ask if that's all, just assume your done and tell you the total will be at the window. Then same thing at the window, you pay and then don't see them again. No words, just rude and shut the window as fast as they can. It's mostly kids working from the high schools, but still have some common courtesy, and have some respect for other people who are coming to the chose to work at. Most of the food is pretty good, anytime we get french fries from sonic. They are hard and stale. So we just don't get french fries anymore.

Ordered a chicken sandwich and onion rings. Onion rings were burnt. The sandwich bun was hard and inedible. The "chicken" sandwich was like something you get on the dollar menu from other places. I should have looked at the reviews before wasting my money here.

They open at "8am". Lobby is never open at 8 or even 8:30. Fryers are not ready by 8am to make food or even 8:30. Since the lobby isn't open you have to go through the drive and end up waiting 20 plus minutes just to find out they can't make the food you ordered. If you are "open" you should be open to make food.

This sonic is very slow. Don't go here save your money. Service is horrible. Can't even check in when you order from the app
