Something Special

This is definitely a hole in the wall hidden gem. Breakfast spot open at 6Am! Line already out the door. I've been driving by here for plenty of years and I finally came . The breakfast food here is super cheap . Cooked to perfect and it taste good. Lol the owners do talk s**t so don't come with an attitude.I would definitely come again it's reasonable price.They sell out quick and I can see why . It's 6 am and almost 10-15 people already in line.Don't let the outside fool you . On the outside this building look like trash !The food inside taste good.I can only speak for the breakfast. I see they sell lunch but I haven't tried it yet

I will not be back this the second time I have came there and she had an attitude the food price has went up since the other young lady left the customer service and food has went down

This establishment really does it for me every time I go. Food is always fresh and hot. The service is as smooth as butter. The exterior may distract you but I promise it's worth it. Overall just really good southern comfort food.

We were looking for something special and we found it! We went for breakfast and they had sold out. The lunch/dinner menu was mouth watering we are already planning our return for the next daily special. The service was Outstanding! Don't let the exterior scare you away, the food is Delicious

Here's a great spot for legit soul food. Best cornbread and greens I've had. They'll do a pork chop or fish--fried to order. Delicious. Friendly folks!

I went to get me some chitlins and as i said THEY WERE OFF THE CHAIN. They were super, awesome and their collard greens are the best i've tasted. Next time you want soul food come here. The ladies serving were just as gracious and lovely as the last time i went there.

Down home country breakfast in the city. Love it and the staff for serving the community

this is the best true meat-and-three in Atlanta. as Atlanta grows, there are fewer and fewer long-running traditional Southern restaurants, and Something Special is an oasis in a desert of burgers and wings and bougie cafes. their greens, peas and beans are all seasoned perfectly, each with its own distinct flavor. the cornbread is always on point and made from scratch. every meat option is off the chain -- from baked chicken to oxtails, from fried chicken to chitlins, from meatloaf to fried pork chops. also, the ladies who run it are very nice, the serving sizes are large, and the prices are reasonable. if only i could find an Atlanta barbecue spot this good, this Alabama boy's heart would be content.
