Cool place and good food. Casual vibe with a tasty menu. Home like on a Friday night like a kid from the 70's. Pigs in a Blanket was bomb! Chicken Pot pie was good. Salad my bro said was good, crab dip was great too! Fun place good tunes in the background!

Stopped in for dinner, great service, and delicious food. I had the shrimp and grits, a bit spicy, but the cheesy grits really balanced this dish. My companion had the Mac and cheese with sausage and she loved it. Very comfortable atmosphere, looked great for drinks and socializing as well.

Got the rotating lemonade with vodka in it! Delicious. Service was great as well. They have a great dive-bar ambiance and I would recommend sitting on the couches if you can!

I love this place. We came here for a Shakespeare comedy reading when we first moved to LQA/Uptown a couple years ago. The room was packed, with people squished into all sides and corners of the bar. The vibes were amazing and the sense of community was strong. I'm happy to report that all of that is still very much alive here, despite COVID. Solo has set up some amazing street seating, with umbrellas and distanced tables. Service is very friendly and I had a nice chat with the bartender about reopening, etc. They are taking great safety precautions and all the staff were wearing masks, enforcing social distancing, etc. In the way of drinks, they have an amazing cocktail list here, full of creative beverages like their "lemon-aid" kit, which is a seasonal lemonade drink made with fresh fruit purée that changes every so often for $8. On my most recent visit, I ordered the truffle Parmesan popcorn ($5) for a snack, and a beer cocktail with Aperol and Pilsner in it. I love beer cocktails and don't often see them on menus (apart from the glorious and inventive ones at Perihelion in Beacon Hill) so I was very happy! I will be back for one of their burgers or tuna melts, which looked bomb too.

Had been dreaming about the sweet potato since my last visit, so returned last night. Sadly, reality didn't hold up to my memories. Potato still cooked well, but it was barely lukewarm. Wish they would have heated it up a bit. Kale/brussels sprouts salad was a tasty pile of fresh veggies and sweet dried cherries. The kitchen is very generous with the dressing, so may want to order it on the side.Overall, OK, but might try a few other places in the area before I return.

Five of us dropped in at 6:00 on a busy Friday night and the server was cheerful, friendly and prompt with drinks. We were happy to have lots of vegetarian options. All of our meals were delicious and we look forward to returning. It was great to find this cozy neighborhood bar.

This little hole in the wall was such a great find! The ambiance is very comforting and relaxing. We stopped in for a bite before a concert at Climate Pledge. They were super busy, but we got a table within 5 minutes. Soon after a waitress came over and greeted us and took our drink orders. I believe she was the only waitress working that night and boy was she busy! Service wasn't the fastest, but I cannot blame her one bit. On top of it all, she had a great attitude and was incredibly friendly and personable!! Drinks were good and the food was better! Sometimes truffle popcorn has too much truffle flavoring, but this popcorn was right on the spot. The sandwich was also incredible! The bartender or manager actually was the one who took our food order and even let us know timeline wise how long it would be so we wouldn't be late for the concert! The whole experience was very enjoyable and we will definitely return. This place is a great find!!
