The opulence & grandeur of the Opryland Resort is unmatched. Having this restaurant nestled right in there is giving perfect views. My nachos were seasoned well and not hot like I anticipated they would be. We did lunch here and my colleague did rave about her Torta sandwich. Our waitress was sweet & pleasant. We had a great lunch here.

Deliciously spicy crab tostado! This app is a must. I loved it, the right about of spice that l in here's for a little and I washed it down with a mango agua Fresca while I waited for my to-go order. I sat at the bar where Andy served me. I really enjoyed her company and some mommy-free time. For the to-go order, I ordered the carnitas taco and carnitas burrito with elote. The taco was pretty much falling apart so I didn't get to enjoy it too much but my partner loved the heck out of the burrito. The elote was creamy and pretty tasty. I would definitely eat here again.

I thought the mushroom taco ($6) was pretty good but might have been overpowered by the pickled onions. I did enjoy the elote that I got as a side. Chips and salsa (and queso and guac) are all extra. I heard the plantains were excellent as well. The setting (inside the Gaylord) is very relaxing and you might feel like you were in a Mexican resort. Service was OK but it seemed like it took them a while to figure out where to seat us. Not a bad option.

Service was TERRIBLE. The wait was over an hour, with serval open tables. They did not have enough wait staff which , well wasn't great. With a hotel this big you think they would plan accordingly. Once seated , after the food was provided our waiter never came back to check on us, the food and etc. Had to run him down to just get the receipt. The food, the chips and guacamole and queso was the best part of the meal. The chips were baked nicely not too salty. -the street corn was the best part of the meal, and why I gave them 2 stars. The corn was nicely seasoned and fresh! The corn taco was very soft and mushy, no flavor. I ate the inside and left the tortilla. I'm not sure if it's a theme of the hotel, but all the food is pretty basic and not worth the prices. The outside is beautiful though, next to flowers and waterfalls. I would skip out on this one.

This was the second restaurant my group tried one evening for late dinner in the resort. This was my favorite of the 3 we tried. Selection was great. Service was awesome, which was very nice even though we came close to closing time. Cute seating in the outside area because of the lush gardens. And the salsas were excellent. Tacos were very good. I got plantains too, and they were delicious. The best part was price! Much better priced than the Italian next to it.

Lovely little cantina tucked away in the Gaylord. The food was good - probably the best of the property restaurants we tried. Sangria - excellent! Service - outstanding. So overpriced but par for the hotel.

Located inside the Gaylord hotel and conference center. Chips and salsa were good. The lump crab tostadas were amazing. I had tacos which were also good. Hubby had the carnita asada and he liked it, he said the street con was really good

The service was rather understaffed which made dinner a 90min event. The ambiance was comfortable and inviting. I loved being at the outdoor seating area. Once we did get our order in, the food came out quickly and was delicious.

My rating is adjusted to reflect where I am: Gaylord Opryland, which isn't exactly known for its cuisine. Solario Cantina is a very decent restaurant in this hotel -- at least that was my experience. First, though, I do have to point out that the prices here are crazy. A burrito for $17? GTF out of here. Does the burrito have a $10 bill stuffed inside it? Instead, I got the torta, which was $16. (This made a lot more financial sense in my head.) My torta was actually pretty good, and included black beans spread on the torta roll, shredded marinated pork, avocado slices, pickled red onions and some other goodies. The torta comes with refried beans and rice, which were also OK. They do have a kids menu here, and my kids got a cheese quesadilla and a beef taco. The kids' taco is a hard-shell taco, in case you're wondering and have a child who will only be satisfied with a crunchy taco. Kids meals come with a side of rice and beans, but do not include a drink.Solario Cantina does not take reservations, so you need to line up, order your food and grab a number, find a seat, and they will bring your order out. They will also bring out water. I waited in line for about 15 minutes during a weekend dinner time, which isn't too bad considering how crowded Gaylord Opryland can get during the weekend. The service was very fast, considering. If you're staying at Gaylord Opryland and looking for a sit-down restaurant to visit in the hotel, this is a good one. It's centrally located in the Magnolia atrium, and if you choose to sit on the "outside" patio, you get a nice view of the beautiful gardens.

I was a little concerned reading the reviews but I thought this place was actually pretty good! We had a great waiter Spenser. The atmosphere is cool being in the opry hotel. I had the queso and then a chicken taco. Both were really good! I also had sweet potato squares and they were good but burnt. Overall great experience. Would for sure come back
