Extremely disappointing experience at Soju Anju!Food was very mid here. We had the Korean fried chicken, fried rice, rice cake and corn cheese. The Korean fried chicken was probably the only bright spot that I'd recommend and would be happy to eat it again. Everything else was average and tasted quite bland. It honestly felt like we could've made it better at home. Service here was ok, but food took an extremely long time to come out, and the restaurant was not even that full. We'd get an entree, and then have to wait 10-15 mins for another dish, then again for our last dish which was the corn cheese appetizer?? The wait between dishes felt unnecessarily long. If you're in a rush, DO NOT come here. The restaurant itself has a nice vibe to it, although it felt a little cramped. I would accidentally bump into the party next to me at times. I do like the bar set up, but drinks are insanely overpriced here. The so-maek tower we got was $68?? It was also warm when it came out which really ruined it. We came on a night where things weren't too busy and had a bad experience. I can't imagine what it'd be like to come here during a busy dinner rush.

This bar is fun if you're looking to down a couple somaek towers, eat Korean bar foods with friends, and listen to loud kpop. With that said, everything is quite expensive so be prepared spend at least $60-$80/person. Service is also subpar (one of the female employees was super rude to my friends before I showed up) and they have a time limit on the tables, so you can't sit too long. Our group of 6 ordered 2 somaek towers, bossam, rose tteobokki, a seafood pancake, and boneless fried chicken which came out to almost $300 but we were still hungry and ended up going somewhere else after we were told we overstayed our time.I would come back if I was in the area but it wouldn't be my first choice.

The food was great, service was mehh... I've been here a few times and it's always a hit or miss. I think the prices are expensive for the food portion. However, good late night food with friends and vibes!

Soju Anju is our favorite place for a group. For a group of ten, we usually get at least five orders of corn cheese, it's that good. The Korean fried chicken and beef bulgogi are delicious. I'm a huge fan of the glass noodles also.

Overall, I will say my second visit with Soju Anju recently is definitely more enjoyable than my first visit a couple of years ago. Some key improvements:Service: Utilizing the service button, staff was pretty quick and efficient in addressing whatever needs my party had. In addition, everyone was friendly and we didn't have to wait for long on anything. Food: I will say, the food has improved quite a bit! Of all the dishes I ate, the seafood pancake = 100% yum! Loaded with a ton of seafood, this dish is a definite must if you're looking for an appetizer to share. Other dishes that were just as good are: Corn cheese, spicy pork, and bulgogiVibes: This place is definitely more of a late night hang out spot if you're looking to chill with the homies/friends. Definitely reminded me of the fun spots I visited in South KoreaPrice Point: A bit higher than your standard Korean spots but it does have most of the food/drinks options you would need for a good dining experienceI would come back again if in the area :)

Food - the only downside is the lower number of vegetarian and vegan options, but they have recently revised their menu to add more options. We have been several times with friends and recommend getting the soju and beer tower if you're there with friends. Also I recommend the corn cheese always. I like both the bibimbap and ramen for vegetarian options. My partner likes the beef bulgogi but the pork bulgogi was a favorite with my friends who preferred spicier food. Service - always pretty good service because you hit the button when you're ready and they're easy to flag down if you need something. Very attentive and speedy!Ambiance - quirky and cool little spot! It feels hidden away from the road and there's cute little decorations. The tables and decor make it feel as though you could be in Korea in a little shop. Really amazing as a communal experience with some friends!

Came here for the food and we were pretty happy with the overall experience and vibe. Came with a group of 4 on a Sunday night around 9pm and it wasn't busy so we were seated right away. The ambiance is pretty cool, nice decor, great kpop music, and a decent menu selection of drinks and food. Service was friendly, a little on the slow side, but it's fine because it feels like the kind of place to sit back and enjoy good company. Food - + cheese corn - always delicious! +tteok-bokki - great portion and yummy! The rice cakes were perfect! + bibimbap - the rice was on the softer/mushy side but overall everything was tasty+ spicy pork - my husband was sweating a ton so you know this dish brought the heatI think we were maybe supposed to get banchan or so I thought it said on the menu but we never did. I definitely want to come back and try their chicken, I saw another table order it and it looked amazing.

Overall cute place but prices were a bit higher than expected for the portion and quality. We got the Army Stew and Pork Belly which were good but more costly than I would have hoped. There is a good amount of seating and the atmosphere is cute with a late night Korean street food bar vibe. The servers were also really kind.

Everything seemed decently priced as most Korean bars are kind of similar in most cities. I think one thing that felt off is that they played a lot of pop and edm music rather than the "Korean bar feel." Service was great and I love that they have the bell and food was good too even though we only got tteokbokki. Will update in the future when I go back to try other stuff

The inside is so cute, it is designed to look like you are outside on a patio while still being indoors. It is a good late night place to go, and I really like the food! Especially the Rose Tteokbokki is so savory and yummy. I take off point because the price of the soju is insaneeee maybe worth getting some for the vibes but $16 is so steep when you can go a couple blocks to M2M and get a bottle for about $7
