This isn't my favorite Korean food but it'll do in a pinch! It did take awhile to get our order taken, but once it was taken, our food came out super fast. Kind service, just a small staff. Even though it might not be your LA or NYC restaurant, it's important to support these small businesses.

Came on a weekend for dinner and was seated immediately. My husband ordered the dolsot bibimbap and I ordered the galbi combo. Our total came out to around $50 with tip. The bibimbap was worth it and came with a side of tofu soup. My husband loved it. The galbi combo came with a larger tofu soup that I chose. The soup was delicious and piping hot. Super flavorful galbi but it only came with 5 pieces which was unfortunate for the price. Banchan was also yummy with lots of variety including kimchi, fish cakes, bean sprouts, seaweed and pickled cucumbers. I like that they have some other additional dishes you can order that isn't on the menu but written on the board closer to the register. I can't wait to come back to try their jjangmyeon!

Sometimes the most non-descript storefronts have the best food. I ordered the hot stone bibimbap and was delighted by how perfect it was. The rice was crispy, the egg yolk was runny, the kimchi was delicious. So happy to have found this place! I look forward to eating here again.

A staple Korean restaurant in Nashville. Having been to quite a few in the area (like Korea house), I can confidently say that So Gong Dong offers Tofu Soup that's in the running for being the best in the area.Beyond the tofu soup, the Banchan and Galbi were also great, though the Galbi could've had some improvements in quantity.

In from out of town looking for a good Korean restaurant and we stumbled upon So Gong Dong. We had the Galbi(short ribs), bibimbap, and mushroom tofo soup. All were great, the service is friendly and don't rush the process enjoy the ambiance. The bibimbap is served in a stone pot and gets the rice nice and crispy.

If you're craving some korean comfort food, this is the place to go. After 4 years in Nashville, I discovered this place with some friends on my last day and now I'm shaking my fist in the air that this discovery didn't come sooner. The soup is very hearty and flavorful. Comes with a bow of rice and you can adjust the spice level from mild, medium, hot, and very hot. Comforting and homey, like a warm hug. What more could you want?Side note: side dishes (not pictured) were excellent as well! I could not stop eating their bean sprouts. We got refills twice.
