Snooze, an A.M. Eatery

Came here on a raining Sunday morning , I had the assumption that the service would be great since there would be fewer people and the person attending us would be great. My assumption was wrong, she only came to our table 3 times 1. For our drinks 2.for our order 3. For our check I asked multiple people if they would help us but nothing they said our server would be coming up every time I needed something else but she never came . Overall 3/10 only because the chef did his thing ‍.

Love Snooze, and I do like this location! I now prefer it over the Galleria & Montrose location. How can you seriously go wrong with Snooze? It is your classic breakfast spot, from pancakes, to the breakfast tacos.. there is a variety of things you can order. I love that you can go on yelp, or even the snooze app to place yourself on the waitlist as well.My go to is definitely the spuds deluxe, extra crispy!The breakfast tacos are great too, on flour tortillas.

As someone who has been to multiple Snooze locations across the state, I hate to say that the one location located closest to me just falls flat! My poor experience is not necessarily about the food, but more so about the service. Every time I go to Snooze I am pretty consistent with my order. A pork belly habanero Benny and typically some variation of the sweet potato pancake (based on the season). The food took about 20-30 minutes and honestly everything tasted good/comparable to my experiences with snooze at other locations.However, in the 3-4 times I have been to this location the service always falls flat. In this particular experience, we were told our table was ready, and when we got there the tables were dirty with crumbs and drink stains from the previous party. When we brought this to the attention of the hostess, she had an attitude and pretty much acted dismissive towards the situation.Beyond that, our waiter was pretty much MIA during the entirety of our late brunch. Now I can definitely understand if the location is busy, however in my most recent visit the restaurant was not pack. Drinks were never refilled, we tried to get her attention to get more napkins but she was pretty much MIA for at least 10 minutes, and overall the lack of service just really brought this experience down. And again, this is not just an isolated incident but has occurred with every visit at this location. I had high hopes for this location since it's close to the Med Center and has substantial parking, but after my past experiences I am not sure I will be coming back.

Finally went to Snooze for the first time (idk how it took me this long??) and enjoyed it! We went for Saturday brunch and were able to get in line ahead of time through Yelp which was amazing! I opted for the crab cake eggs benedict and when I tell y'all this was the best breakfast I've had in a long time... wow. It was a bit pricy so I was worried it wouldn't be worth the cost, but boy was I wrong! Presentation was beautiful and tast was delicious, I could've licked my plate clean. I also got their boozy lemonade which was yummy. Service was standard, and atmosphere was great - whoever was on aux was playing all my favorite songs lol! Will be back!

First time here. Great food, and the service was fairly good. Loved their seasonal chilaquiles dish, and the pineapple upside down pancake was amazing.

Food was great. Really enjoyed my perfectly cooked eggs, bacon, hash browns, and pancakes! The pancakes were a must try. Our server was super friendly and helpful. Seating was slightly awkward but not a major issue. The four stars was only because of the loud music. I don't mind the music even though it's not my favorite but it was too loud for my taste! Vibe- Very nice location on the corner of a shopping center! There's about 15 tables outside and they're all covered with umbrellas so you don't have to worry about too much heat in the warm months. There's a bar inside with a good amount of bar chairs and there's plenty of tables inside too. Customer service- Great! Food/drinks- I got the vegan banana bliss pancakes and hash brown to eat. I got one of their summer mocktails, the strawberry lavender lemonade. Everything was delicious, I'll definitely be back to try more menu items!!!!Parking- There's about 6 spots right in front of the door; there's plenty of other spots in the lot the restaurant sits in.

We ended up only ordering one item and shared it. When we were checking for the menu we just didn't see enough for what we wanted at that moment but I really wanted to try the stuffed French toast.We were pleasantly surprised as to how tasty it was. We want to try this place again. It wasn't stuffed in the literally sense, but it was very moist and tasty.The service was decent. We were only there for about 25min max. Also the rest room was clean and that is always a plus! Will try again!

My server had a lot of hickeys......... I'm glad that there's a snooze in Stafford Texas.I definitely recommend this place also get the bloody marys with bacon!

A great place - definitely worth a try once!The ambiance outdoors was gorgeous, with nice modern tables and sleek chairs! I highly recommend asking for a spot outside if there's space. If you do sit inside, bring a jacket or sweater.The hostess was very friendly and accommodated our gluten and lactose allergies.The food was a little more mixed. The half-sweet half-spicy Chai latte was delicious (5/5) and the Snooze Breakfast Burrito was great too (5/5)! I'd say the "Short Rib & Gruyere Polenta" was mid: the short ribs & sauteed kale were delicious, but I wasn't a fan of the polenta (kind of like Italian gritz). That might just be my personal preference.I gave it 4 stars only b/c the wait time to get food was kind of long during peak hours (~20-25 minutes).I'll probably check out other places but would circle back if I was craving brunch!
