This place used to have the BEST vegetable chow mein with homemade hand cut noodles. The noodles were more like dumplings (the southern version, not the Chinese version) and they were to die for. Now they are more like just normal noodles. I'll miss the old version and i wish I had known because I would have loved to have had them just one more time before they changed them.

I ordered dinner on Postmates. The delivery was fine but the food was inedible. Flavorless noodles with a few veggies sprinkled on top, and the general Tao's was slimy with fat/skin and gristle in the chicken. $60 later and it all went in the trash in under a minute.

Always delicious. Wonderful hand made jiaozi. We always get Mandarin fried rice with extra shrimp. Salt and pepper prawns. Mu shu pork. I hope they may again open up for sit down dining. I miss spending time with everyone there.

We had a big order of take out food from here. the ordering process on the telephone was simple and efficient. Take out is the only option available at this point. There are lots of vegetarian options. The order was done on time and still hot when we got home 5 minutes away. The serving size was generous and all the flavors very good. Overall very enjoyable.

My favorite place for Chinese food in Seattle is hands down! The staff is friendly, and the BBQ pork fried rice, green onion pancakes, and wontons are always delicious. Additionally, the prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous.

The food has been consistently subpar when I have gone there. They have long waits, high staff turnover, and haven't opened their dining room to the public due to "workforce shortages". This place is unfortunately riding on its accolades from decades prior and no longer lives up to its name.

My girlfriend and I were on vacation in Seattle, and we stumbled into our lodging late at night, no idea what food was available. The nearest spot I could find was Snappy Dragon, so I called up and asked if they were still doing deliveries, because they closed in like half an hour. The guy said he thought they were probably done for the night, and I asked if he could just double-check, because I was super hungry. He did a quick check and then took my order. So, kudos to them for going ahead and hooking me up, even though they were debating packing it in for the night. As it turns out, the food here was so good that my girlfriend kept suggesting that we order from them, even though we had plenty of city left to explore! On the first night, we picked up the Szechuan noodle soup. Even with the noodles basically compressed into a cube form, they were still springy and delightful once we got them into the soup. We ate as many of the noodles as we could, and then tried the Ants Climb a Tree, which wasn't nearly as good. Just not enough minced pork and substance to the dish. We ended up saving them as leftovers, and then finding some meat to augment the noodles with later. The next time we ordered, we tried the Snappy Dragon Fried Rice and the wonton soup. Both were great. Wontons were tasty, the soup was flavorful, and the fried rice was pretty solid. Good, but not amazing Chinese food, solid value, hopefully they can open up for in-person dining again soon.

It knows exactly what it is: unpretentious American Chinese food. The heart burn is temporary, the leftovers will last for at least a week. The noodles and rice are iffy, the meat dishes are excellent. Go for the fried eggplant, dumplings also look good.

This has been a neighborhood staple and favorite for years! I ordered for pick up since they are still not serving inside the restaurant. They no longer have Judy's homemade noodles! I ordered Mongolian beef and potstickers in peanut sauce. The sauces were thick and over spiced. Nothing like it used to be. If this was my first time I'd assume it was a mediocre Chinese - American restaurant. Given Snappys long history of excellence I can only assume it's been sold and they have an inexperienced cook.
