Lol, I'm a Baba Ghanouj snob, so let me tell you a secret: This tiny little bitty place serves the most delicious Baba Ghanouj I have ever had the pleasure of having. And I've had it from many different places in multiple countries. Let me not forget the super warm pita bread.Great service too!! When stopping by for the excellent Baba Ghanouj, order some of their lentil soup! You will not regret!!

Truly excellent. I totally see why this place is so highly rated - it deserves more reviews even!I went here with my sister on a random Sunday for some Mediterranean food. We passed it by a million times but never knew it existed in this small strip mall! The person working the front is one awesome guy. I'm not sure if he's the owner (he gives me owner vibes) but he was so personable, attentive, hospitable, and welcoming. Such a gracious host! The food was phenomenal, period. The hummus was so creamy and seasoned nicely, the chicken was flavorful and juicy, the lentil soup was delicious, the salad was refreshing, and the falafel was crispy on the inside and so soft on the inside. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. We took what we couldn't finish home but rest assured we devoured everything lol. There's convenient parking right outside and even though it's a relatively small place, there's tables inside for you to dine in if you'd like. I'll totally be back here again! 5/5!

Okay seriously guys I can't get enough of this place. I ordered carry out minutes after they opened, when I went to pick it up it was taking a little longer than quoted (due to the obvious fact they just opened need to prep &still was not long whatsoever) got to watch them prepare everything 100% fresh, BUT HE GAVE ME A CUP OF FRESH LENTIL SOUP THEY JUST MADE while I wait!!!! Customer service is out of this world and I wish there was a sixth star. Sweetest staff ever & best food I mean it. DO NOT HESITATE!!! Soup was amazing BTW!

Wow, this place is just so incredibly delicious! Everything we've tried has been excellent with the bowls and falafel being our favorites. Their rice is unreal and they give you so much food! It's a must stop whenever we're in the area. Everything is fresh and tastes homemade with incredible flavor!!

I was absolutely mesmerized by the taste of the lentil soup. I couldn't believe how good this soup is, and it's a summer day today. Almost 100 degrees in Chicago, I'm in thinking of getting more soup. I can't wait to try more of this menu. The service was awesome too!! The kindness of the staff will not be forgotten. Thank you for making this a great experience, even though it was take out.

Not sure why the bad reputation. Food was pretty decent. 15 min wait was a bit but that seems to be the only issue. Friendly service. Would recommend.

Such a great find! Big potions with tender meat. The lamb and chicken are my favorite. Their hummus was the best I've had. The lentil soup is incredibly flavorful. All the sides are great and the drink selection is interesting and good.

You know a restaurant is good when other customers can tell you haven't been there before, and go out of their way to tell you about all of their favorite menu items! The staff was also super friendly-happy to answer our questions and even handed us a free cup of lentil soup as we decided what to order. And our food was delicious...we ate past being full because we just couldn't stop eating it!

Came here based on reviews and it did NOT disappoint!! What a great place with wonderful people, amaaaaazing food, quality ingredients and yes, the most amazing lentil soup! I had the chicken shawarma bowl, hubby had the platter with all the meats and our daughter had the vegetarian meal. Hummus is outstanding and loved the mint lemonade. Huge portions so plenty of leftovers to enjoy tomorrow! You MUST come here!!
