We decided to stop here to eat during our stay in Skykomish after a long day of hiking. You're supposed to order up at the counter then take a seat. We decided on the Mac and cheese, fries, and crispy chicken salad. It tasted really good after hiking scenic lake (brutal but worth it hike). But I wouldn't say it was anything amazing. We hardly ate our order of fries, which we ordered because the waitress told us a pound of fries sound like a lot but really isn't. It got super busy and backed up really fast causing people to be hovering over our table. Also, prices were a bit off. I noticed the menu said $4 for 4 oz of Mac and cheese and I was charged $5. No biggie but should be addressed. I'd definitely stop here again.

The reviews were intriguing so we had to stop to sample the BBq. You'll come for the food and return for Becky! She is simply a delight. We were staying in Skykomish and on a scenic drive and decided to swing by to eat. I gather by the reviews that it may not be nessissarily locals reviewing this spot. You walk in and there is a small gift shop and then you meet Becky, the GM. We chatted for a minute about the menu and went with her recommendations of BBQ feast for 2 or 3. It should be for 4....whew so much yummy food...chicken...beef....pork.. corn bread and 2 sides. Needless to say we are having leftovers for dinner (and probably lunch ). We had to take some dessert and the pie is made by a local woman who doesn't have a storefront but just enjoys making pies. We will sample that tonite! This is a must stop if you are traveling through town. We met the owner and he's just a chill, nice guy. Make sure you stop at this spot. And ask for Becky !

Ribs were great, hot link sausage was good and brisket could have been a little more tender on our visit. Sides were fine. Sauce is a matter of taste and we prefer a bit more bite in ours. Service could have been a little less chilly, but times are rough these days so chalk it up to that.

Found this little gem of a bbq spot in Skykomish along the side of the road. Luckily they us they've just been open for 4 weeks! The staff is super friendly and sweet. The hot sauce selection was great, only complain is that that didn't have a spicer one (I like a lot of heat)! I ordered the Southern Style Fried Catfish and it comes with 2 sides, collard greens and red beans and rice. The whole plate for $18! The fried cat fish was 5 stars! Blow me right out of my chair how fresh the catfish was! Not muddy tasting at all! The batter was some sort of a crispy crunchy corn meal and not overly battered at all. The collard greens was so delicious I couldn't help but order a second serving! The red beans and rice was legit! Just a perfect pairing! Will come back for whenever we are passing by again! Also had a glass of 36 Red wine ($7.50) and a Deschutes Jubelale festive winter ale ($5) yummy!

A new addition to Skykomish.A great new restaurant on the way back from Stevens after a day of skiing. Love the beef ribs, beef brisket and veges. They also serve people who can't afford (Luv that). You can also donate a meal.Request: please have a spicier hot sauce. beef brisket was a little dry.

What's good baby Project Pat the king of the north north. This place has BBQ about as good as we got in Memphis and to be honest this place is quality. If you're hungry I would highly recommend. Stay trill Skykomish. 5 stars.

Traveling back from Wenatchee to Seattle area we were tempted to swing by one of the various spots in Leavenworth. But to avoid the insanity and 30 minute parking chore we looked further down the road, waited an hour to eat and we're well rewarded!Got the catfish, red beans & rice, collard greens & slaw. Paired with their 3 bbq sauces & a Deschutes Festive Winter Ale, pure bliss on the side of the highway in Skykomish. Very tasty BBQ! Cute cozy interior & FREE Ice Cream for kids!Check it out.

We stopped here on our way to the Great Northern and Cascade Railway steam trains. The BBQ is better than what I've had in Seattle. The brisket had a nice smoke ring, the ribs were our favorite, and the sides were all good (cowboy caviar, collared greens and green beans were my favorites). The staff are super friendly and welcomed our group of three families with kids. Of course, the kids loved their post meal free ice cream. They serve the PNW Tillamook. They also have a large outdoor seating area. We would definitely come back!

This place is closed, by the way. Was looking forward to eating here, but didn't have any sign of life. The deli across the street says it's been closed for a while so I wish they listed this as closed on Yelp before we came out this way.

Mac n cheese, potato salad and coleslaw were excellent. So the sides are great. But brisket and chicken were ho hum. If you have never had bbq in the south you might think this place was awesome in the meat.
