This is the type of tiny local business that I LIVE FOR.Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere.My visit order:- Shrimp & chips. - Hamburger with everything.- Banana shake.Took less than the 10 minute wait, they said, for my order to be ready.The food was HOT and FRESH!The shrimp was SPECTACULAR with cocktail sauce.The burger disappeared. Not sure where it went.It was just TOO DELICIOUS to exist outside my belly for long. The banana shake? THICK and heavenly.Bring a BOBA STRAW. Their straws WILL NOT WORK.Krinkle cut fries were meaty and perfectly salted.I'm not usually a fan of krinkle cut, but they were quite good!I need to re-visit to try their fish & chips, and chicken sandwich!

This is " Best Grease" in Seattle hands down, ANYONE WANNA ARGUE ABOUT THAT?My definite go to burger joint when I'm heading to Burien and the burger craving happens. In my professional burger experience Smokey's Char Broiled delivers a quality & taste in my burger every time I come.  Now the fresh bacon & double meat patty's allows you taste not only the grease of bacon and but the juice of the burger when they merge together like two hearts. Now bacon is an absolute that goes on all my burgers but you make the choice. And adding an order the crinkle fries just is the bonus I need to smile and my taste buds to dance. I've contemplated trying some of the other items but the double bacon cheeseburger satisfies me every time.Smokey's Char Broiled is sublime. It's a spiritual awaking for burger & bacon enthusiasts to unite, and thank god it's a local place.... always love this place & chicken sandwiches as big as your face! The fish is light & crispy too and punch cards are appreciated!

The service was terrible! The quality of food has gone down remarkably since the new management obviously! My order was wrong and they overcharged me! Are used to love this place been going to it for 20 years I'm sad to say I'll never go there again! And would definitely not recommend it! FYI I think they're using free three day old buns from the bakery!

Small unassuming burger shop in Burien that delivers pretty delicious burgers! Was in Burien today for some personal errands and found this place close by the location I was. Since I'm in a no carb month, I decided to go and ask for a no bun double bacon cheeseburger. They don't do lettuce wrapping but offered to put it in a box. After a few minutes I got my burger and set out to eat it on a bench. The burger looked spectacular, and tasted fantastic. The bacon was perfectly prepared, I regret not asking for double bacon I usually ask for grilled onions when available, but today I didn't and just got what they offer, which is raw onions I believe. Well I loved it, it was really tasty, I think the bun would have made it even better. I'll definitely be back if/when I'll need to be in Burien again.

We've lived here 20 years. Something happened..I don't know when. Burgers are so thin you can barely see them. Onion rings..6 in a bag? And overcooked?Not what it used to be. I don't know if it's new owners, but if it is, do it different.

I have been a customer for years, and today I picked pieces of steel wool out of my mouth while eating a bacon cheeseburger from Smokey's. That plus the health department rating this place as unclean is a wrap for me.If they decide to clean the place and the health department rates their cleanliness as great, then I will consider returning. Otherwise, there are plenty of other places to eat that take cleanliness seriously.

Don't really understand the health dept. Closure but they should of opened back up by now. So must be other issues. Was a great place to stop for lunch. Been many times was always happy. Never got sick from eating here.

Until today, this used to be one of my favorite burger places. First off, the deep-fried mushrooms were soggy. Gross. And I had to go back for my fries, which were left out of the order entirely. By the time I got back home (for the 2nd time) with my fries, the burger was cold.Service? Well, I tried calling about the fries and nobody would answer the phone. When I got there, she remembered me and asked if she had left something out, I told her the fries. Without replying, she went to the back, prepared another order, and handed that one off. Then she went to the back again to get my fries. When I told her I had tried calling, she ignored me. When I asked her if the phone was broken, she ignored me again. She handed the fries to me without saying a word. No apology, no nothing.The ambiance in there has always been awful. Seats are hard and uncomfortable. One is not encouraged to spend any time there, but then it's pretty small, so I'm guessing they need to get people on their way back out the door quickly.
