Smash That Burger

I was really excited to try this spot upon the recommendation of a friend. Unfortunately, aesthetics can only take you so far. I was completely underwhelmed by the food. I will say that they do a great job of smashing the patty. It has great texture and has nice, lacy edges. It is pretty under seasoned and I was barely able to notice the grilled onions. Oh, and they recommend fried onions which ended up being the French's fried onion used for green bean casserole. Super disappointing. The fries were so bad. They are your run of the mill frozen crinkle cut fries that were super stiff and under seasoned. I wanted to give them 3 stars but to not even offer soda options bumped it down for me. Good concept but bad execution.

A nice, hearty, delectable smash burger. Came here for a Tuesday dinner, not too busy and you'll usually find a parking spot. You order from a QR code on the food cart. Decent sitting with half the seats under a heat lamp for those chillier nights and right next to a brewery. I got the ultimate jalapeño smashburger. By default comes double pattied and overfilled with crispy jalapeños, onions, and special sauce. It looks messy, but surprisingly the burger kept its structure very well by it's dense, but soft buns. Nice crisp on the outside of the patty and can't ask for anything more for a smash burger. The regular crinkle fries were solid as well as they came out crispy and hot. I've tried the spicy fries as well. The seasoning on that one was unique in that it tasted like a shin ramen packet seasoning. I was originally turned off by the price, but man, it's a pretty great burger and wouldn't mind coming back again.

I read an article online about the best smash style burgers in Seattle and this place was recommended. After trying it out this has got to be up there. I ordered the Oklahoma smash with the crinkle fries. The burger was phenomenal, great texture on the burger patties (2), the cheese, onions, and pickles were solid and provided good texture. The sauce seals the deal, it's their "smash sauce" that they put on the burger and it is tasty. It is a food truck that parks at Rooftop Brewing, there is seating available to eat your food. It's a solid little spot and Rooftop had a good selection of beers as well. Once we ordered it was less than 10 minutes until we got our food. Good timely service. Overall, if you're checking out the burger scene in Seattle this is a must.

Hnnnng-omfg....these burgers are so goddamn good. Like if you think you know of a better smash burger, or any better food period to pair with a cold beer after work, PLEASE dm me, or write me a letter, or come serenade me with a boombox at my bedroom window. I MUST know about any other contenders. Because as far as I'm concerned, the cheesy griddled goodness coming out of this legendary little truck is at the very pinnacle of its game. Get the Ultimate Jalapeño. Or get the Oklahoma. Or the Chester. Shit I don't care, get whatever you want, your face is gonna be happy. And if you have friends who like fun, you should probably also get the Totally Smashed fries to share. Now stop reading and EAT IT!

I went with my girlfriend after seeing the stellar reviews and I have to say this is the best burger I've had in Seattle by far! I will no longer be going to the Habit

You can only order online (scan their qr code at the window) but the person is accessible at the window. They text when the order is ready and unfortunately I didn't get my text so I ended up waiting a lot longer than I needed to.They burger itself was good. Smashed and charred, but probably too much for me, one of the bun was too charred so I peeled off the black bits. The gooey cheese and patty was great, and I'm glad I got the sauce on the side.

...arrived for a beer/cider and what do I see? A crazy painted trailer advertising "Smash That" burgers. Why, don't mind if we do! Hands down a damn good burger! Tasty doesn't quite explain. Hot, fresh, juicy, cheesy, fried jalapeños (if you dare), yummy. With a side of fries. Thank you:)

Had the pleasure of trying this place out at Rooftop Brewing Co! It was a sunny Seattle Sunday, and the beer and burgers were calling. We picked up! There is a QR code at Rooftop to order at truck, and they text you when ready! I have yet to find any other brewery with this system. It's nice to not have to abandon your brew and company to stay in line! Our food was ready in 15-20mins.The portions were generous! They add ON their add ons! My burger was swimming in fried onions, but I'm not complaining The patties were doubled too. Quality was abundant. The burgers were juicy, the cheese melted, the fries crispy, and the seasonings were unique. My partner and I were saying how they were robbed from a rightful acknowledgement on best Seattle burgers list! These burgers may just make a regular out of us! Keep up the good work!

We were there Friday, 4/12, so excited to try this place after seeing quite a few good reviews on social media. The food was super disappointing- the sauce was so bad that I thought they must have made a mistake. It was thin and really pungent, lots of Dijon and dill. Burger was really salty on the edges. I got a few good bites in the middle where there was less sauce and salt.Fries were not worth it. Felt like they just came out of a bag from Kroger.

The Oklahoma Burger is easily one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. The edges are perfectly crispy. The sauce....OMG the sauce! Enough pickles to cover the entire burger. A simple bun that highlights the burger and doesn't steal the show. This is a truly great burger! I only regret that I forgot to take a picture! The Chester was our only regret. Think of it as the kid's meal. Not really for adults. The loaded fries were just that. Loaded with goodness and enough for four.
