The Wagyu Cheeseburgers were a hit! Aside from the good tasting meat, it came with truffle oil. The dip for our fries was a garlic mayo which was yummy. But I ended mixing it up with old school ketchup:) Although the shakes were delicious, be prepared for thickness. And it's very filling! Our server was great! Friendly, attentive, and a pro. Burgers aside, this place is huge with a bar downstairs and upstairs! Although I didn't really take a good look, it appears that they can make any cocktail. Speaking of which, there's also a list of Boozy Shakes...can't wait to try it on my next visit. Plenty of seating overall and it's very clean and modern with the right amount of branding.Check it out!

I am so happy that Small Cheval has made their debut in Wrigleyville. I have loved their Old Town and Wicker Park location so it is nice to have one further North. This location is massive in comparison to the other two I have been to. They have enough seating that could easily accommodate large crowds of people during a busy Cubs season. During my visit I was able to easily find a seat at the bar but I had a lot of options to sit at a table. You seat yourself and use the QR code at the table to order your food. That helped to keep things moving quickly. If you seat at the bar the bartender can also take your order. I liked that you were able to get your drinks quicker. They have a ton of TVs for the folks that want to stay up-to-date on the various games taking place. I ordered the single cheeseburger along with fries to keep things simple. The restaurant was busy so the food took a little longer to come out but they brought out several orders at the same time so I assume a lot of it is made in larger batches. The burger was delicious but it gave very much White Castle patty size. The burger felt a little paper thin and it was mostly bun. I know Small Cheval is known to pricey since you buy everything à la carte but the burger felt thinner. They did give a fair amount of fries so it helped to make up for the thin burger. I will definitely come back but I will probably upgrade to the double cheeseburger!

I had never tried and Au Cheval burger even after all the people I heard raving about it. The Small Cheval Wrigleyville spot on Clark St. is large and modern with tables and all stools throughout. Nice enough decor. I tried the Signature Double Cheeseburger and some fries. It was good, I mean not earth shattering but decent. I assume it was the same recipe as the mother ship Randolph St. store? I can think of some better neighborhood spots but for the price with was fair it was a good cheeseburger. Two thin quality beef patties topped with their special sauce and good sized. The fries were standard but thankfully not greasy at all. So I guess I was over hyped on what it was supposed to be. I expected a burger from the burger gods. I wants let down through. It did the job as i was hungry. I almost had no pictures to share as was hungry and ready to pounce on the burger. But I got hold of myself and snapped one.

Au Chevals smaller brother, this is a great alternative to the busier more expensive brother. For ten bucks, it's a great burger that's a good middle ground between a greasy fast food and top tier gourmet burger. So if you're looking for a slightly elevated experience but still "fast" come here for a quick bite. Or hang out for a casual date. The place is like a swanky diner almost with tons of lights and dark wooden all around. It's quite a gorgeous venue with an even better looking upstairs. So don't forget to check up there if you're looking for a better view Food: 8/10 Service: 6/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Value: 8/10

So cool having Small Cheval in Wrigleyville! I love what they did with the space -- really fun vintage diner vibes downstairs, and then the upper level has a huge bar and outdoor patio for when the weathers nice! Ordering takes place on an app, but the 'servers' who are more of food runners were extremely friendly and still checked on us regularly which was nice. Everything was easy to use and figure out! The burger is delicious and flavorful. Definitely a stripped down version from the iconic Au Cheval, but a tasty burger nonetheless. I also ordered a root beer float -- so yummy! And they give you the remaining bottle of root beer to top your float off with or drink alongside. Since it is more of an informal dining experience, you can be in and out pretty quick, making it a great spot to go pre-game for a quick bite. With the proximity to Wrigley though, the prices are pretty steep. Overall, solid experience!

We enjoyed a quick dinner at Small Cheval prior to a Cubs game. My daughter said that they're the best burgers in the city. We walked in and selected a table, before ordering via QR code. That wasn't a problem for us, but we noticed some other people needing assistance to order. Might be an issue if they're super busy.We both selected the single cheeseburger and split an order of fries. The aioli dipping sauce with the fries was amazing! The burger was also very good, however if I were to eat there again, I would order a double cheeseburger, as the patties are pretty thin. I particularly enjoyed the dijonaise on the burger - very unique! My daughter had a chocolate milkshake, while I enjoyed a beer. All in all, a good experience before we headed off to the game!

Service: seat yourself and order via QR code to the table. Easy enough. Waitstaff served drinks fairly quick. Food came out within ten min of orderingAmbiance: Monday around 6p with Cubs out of town and no big events. There were only a couple people in the restaurant- maybe 10 tops. Decor is nice- sort of that mid century modern + 70's look everyone is trying to resurrect (GG's Chicken and Little Goat Diner come to mind). Food: every visit I've made to any of the Cheval spots prior to this occasion, I would've rated the burgers a resounding "alright." I will say, this time around, I took more liberties with how I wanted the burger prepared (since it was order through the phone and I could take my time and be particular) and I have to say, it was phenomenal. The ingredients were fresh and everything was just flat out delicious. I plan on being back and trying it again- just to see if it's a fluke- but I left quite pleasantly surprised.

Came by after checking out the stadium and grabbed some food and drinks. The classic cheeseburger was alright, a tad too salty for my taste. The shoestring fries were FANTASTIC, perfectly crispy and the garlic aioli was fire!I love that you can order and pay at your table via ToastTab! Our server was super nice as well.

They've got gluten free buns!! Huzzah!! Honestly a pretty good gluten free burger, it's a bit pricey though. They also recently changed their fry recipe :,( they used to be these delicious shoestring fries now they are much thicker and have a hint of sweetness(??).

Honestly what the actual f? I ordered a sandwich withouth sauce or pickles and fries but somehow they could not get that straight with their order. I did not order at a busy time, I did not have a complicated order. Be careful when you order online. They can refund your money but not your service fees. Thanks for making sure I paid 12 bucks to not eat!
