Smackin' Wings

Absolutely the best wings I have had. There are a lot of good wing places in Az but this right here is by far on the top 5. They are cooked and coated perfectly. The spice level is just right! The fries are delicious and honestly it's a lot of food for the price. The lemonade is also amazing! I can't get enough. There are multiple restaurants in this location and so far all the ones I have tried have been so good. The traditional hot are really good but I think my favorite right now is the spicy lemon pepper. Will definitely be back

So upon my last review I received a message from the business owner deron, he was very professional and did his best to make up for my 2/5 star experience I had through door dash. I went into smacking wings today, which is located in the highland food hub on highland and 7th behind the vet clinic. Its in uptwon and a very quick walk from where I'm located in midtown. He made me a whole new order of his hotest wings as well as a fry. The food was much better this time around. The wings were hot this time, not salty and the portions were just as good as the last time. Fries seasoned very well and I definitely would recommend this business for others to try. It's not an actual sit-down restaurant. When you go inside you can do Togo or pickup but they do have outside seating with umbrellas. Stop in and tell them ana sent you!

Lemon pepper, Mild hot and garlic. Parm was incredibly delicious.On my second time ordering from here Duran was really rude I don't think I will be coming back. Work on your customer service!

We ordered for the first time tonight. Had the hot wings, lemon pepper and garlic parmesan. The order was finished right on time. The chicken was plump and juicy inside. The flavors were outstanding. Lemon pepper for the win, but they were all great. Crinkle cut fries were hot and crisp. How does that happen in a paper bag? 10/10 for me. We will definitely do this again.

The only thing I'm smackin' is my forehead after wasting my time coming here. Got there at around 11pm with literally no one there, ordered some wings and fries and somehow still waited over 40 minutes. By the time we got the food I was genuinely not even hungry and just tired at this point. When we did get the food the wings were literally so hot that I couldn't hold on to them, so essentially after a 40 minute wait the wings needed a MINIMUM of 15 minutes to cool down.As if the wings being flaming hot wasn't bad enough the wings were totally tasteless, the fries were the only thing that wasn't totally scorching hot but everything overall was just bland. I thought maybe the sauce could save these wings but gosh the sauce was just odd. Long story short we ordered about 18 wings ate 3 of them and threw everything away. Key takeaways: if it's after 11 and you want chicken, just go to canes. Actually go to any other fast food joint.

The fried chicken wings though. Those French fries though. Oh my gosh. It was late and I was hungry and on the verge of hangry. It was late and I was very worried because McDonald's was not an option. I searched yelp for take out and this place came up. The establishment is a food pick-up spot and you place your order online and then wait for that food to come up. They finished the food right on time and I could not wait to rip into the bag and start eating those vittles. Mannnnn...we started with those fries. Perfectly seasoned, the sauce and the jumbo cherry on top. I was supposed to share but got carried away and tore those bad boys up. By the time I remembered to share there were only three fries left. So if the fries were this bomb all I was thinking, on the way to the house, how good will that chicken be? BayyyyyBE!!... mannnnn...PERFECT. Perfectly fried, with the perfect crunch, the seasoning...on point. I will drive my happy ass from Surprise anytime for this late-night snack. Whenever! Returning customer.

If you are craving for the wings, look no other place. Come and try smacking wings. They are the best wing me and my family ever had. We are always ordering from them. Not only all the flavor of the wings and fries are immaculate, the owner/ chef is also very knowledgeable and professional dealing with customers. Highly recommended

A late night spot in midtown with perfectly cooked wings, actually some of the best wings in Phoenix. The fries are amazing too. Had them before years ago and the food was amazing then too. Highly recommend. Located In the Highland food hub.

So I finally gave this place a chance since it's literally 5-10 mins away. Alright so to start off whoever answered the phone Sunday afternoon sounds like they need a vacation or time off the phone because how to answer the phone & speak to your customers is 50% of the job. Buddy who answered the phone sounded annoyed to even be at work. But aside from that the fries were decent but you can't even mess up French fries. I ordered the 12pc hot lemon pepper wings but to my surprise there was no lemon pepper & it tasted like it was cooked in OLD CHICKEN GREASE & you can literally tell because it left aftertaste after the first bite. Idk if the establishment is having a one off bad day but yeah definitely a no.

It was a little strange picking up my food from the Highland Food Hub, where driver's for Grub Hub, Door Dash, etc... pick up their deliveries. Aside from this, food was excellent and service was good. If you are in Phx and craving chicken wings, this is your place! Hands down. I got a dozen wings 1/2 honey- hot and 1/2 Ranch flavored.
