We come out of the mall at Bellis Fair. My guy says, "I'm feeling like pizza." We head out of the mall and see Sliced: Family Eatery, complete with a pizza slicer logo. "How about here?" I ask. We are seated and handed menus. My eyes pop! The first thing I read is, "Caesar: Chimichurri backed puff tons, kale, shaved parmesan romaine tossed in Caesar mustard seed vinaigrette..." That's the first item under Starters. WHAT!?!?? They do serve pizza, but this is no pizza joint. The selections are wide! Including things like pistachio crème brulee, sausage vodka mac and cheese, pork belly risotto--just look at the menu! I could eat here every night for the rest of my life and not work through the entirety of it. (I don't even understand a tenth of the ingredients! What is a "chimichurri backed puff tons?" No idea, but after eating here, I'll bet it is fabulous.)Our wonderful, cheerful, informative and helpful server/bartender/mix-master, Colton, explained how everything is as possibly fresh as it can be. The fried chicken is not pre-made, the vegetables are cut fresh, and so on. We ordered his favorites including the fried chicken (OMG, best I ever had), strawberry salad, luscious shrimp tagliatelle, garlic fries with curry lime crème for dipping--oh, and the beyond fabulous pistachio crème brulee complete with lovely berries on top--and you could actually taste the pistachio!I asked Colton if he felt like mixing up a mocktail. He got inventive and on the spot created me a lovely drink including strawberry, basil and lavender syrup, complete with sugared rim.Not only was Colton such a great server, but we felt warmly welcomed and attended to in an easy and comfortable way. All the staff members we encountered were lovely to us and clearly proud of their work. It was such a great experience that we actually ditched our afternoon plans to sit, chat and savor. We will be telling our friends not to miss out on this spectacular "pizza joint."

I have hesitated to visit here because I just expected another mediocre pizza restaurant. I am sorry I waited so long. We came for lunch and tried the $15 special - caprese salad and tomato soup both were excellent. I had a Mac and cheese with shrimp, mushrooms and spinach. Not your standard Mac and cheese, the shrimp were plump and nicely sautéed - there were about 10, the mushrooms I think were portobello, and the cavatappi pasta was not overcooked. No orange cheese sauce here. I couldn't even finish a third - well I did eat all of the shrimp. Overall such a happy surprise. We will be back. Waitress Kaisa was efficient and delightful.

Decided to go out for pizza and some drinks during the week and tried out Sliced. Not very busy during a weekday, and the bar area was nice if just adults. There is a lot more on the menu than pizza, so the decision was a little difficult. Finally chose the garlic chicken pizza with a white sauce base. This was delicious and we ate half of it and planned on taking the rest home, although someone forgot to actually pick up the box and carry it out. Okay, it was me. A good menu for cocktails and a full bar is available. I tried the Old Bellingham which was a quirky twist on an old fashioned that I'd recommend.

Family friendly clean restaurant if you happen to crave for pizza, wings and pasta in one place. We ordered half order of ceasar salad, appy platter, and medium size garlic creamy chicken pizza. The Appy platter has 4 half south west rolls, 6 pcs boneless Buffalo chicken, 3 meatball no marinara sauce, 4 pcs jalapeno poppers. They surprisingly taste pretty good, kinda pricey..it's $30 for the platter. They have 2 section area, the bar area and the restaurant side. From the greeter, to the servers, they are very nice and happy. I love when they are happy and smiley, it makes the whole atmosphere so light and better when you eat. Our server is very helpful. We asked for marinara sauce for the meatballs and other dipping sauces for the boneless chicken. The restaurant side was kinda empty, the bar side has few people. Plenty of parking considering they located by the mall.

The TL;DR version is - very good wait staff, mostly good food, very poor management. We reserved two tables for 20+ people on a Friday night. There were only two waitresses in the whole place, including the one who helped us. Our waitress was exceptional, but completely undermined by the poor planning of management. Furthermore, we waited almost an hour and a half for our food, while everyone who came in after us - and without reservations - were served. More bad planning by management. My food was very underwhelming, though everyone in our group who had pasta or pizza said theirs was very good. I snagged some of my husband's and it tasted great.

Sophie was amazing! Very attentive and sweet. She provided some of the best service I've received in a while. The food was amazing we had a mozzarella sticks, jalepenos poppers, custom pizza, hot Cheetos Mac n cheese, spicy chicken sandwich and the pesto Alfredo with gluten free noodles everything came out quick and perfectly cooked. Definitely worth dropping by as a family! The staff did amazing!! Will definitely be back again all thanks to Sophie and the cooks!

I have mixed feelings about this visit. This is my second visit since they opened. We sat in the bar and our bartender is quite new so I will give some grace for that. For my drink I got "Love Potion" which came in what looked like a glass tea cup. It was maybe 6 oz. The flavor was good but for the cost of the beverage and how much drink you got, it wasn't worth it. We ordered salads, my wife got a Caesar salad and I ordered a tomato and basil salad, and I got a lasagna with meatballs and my wife got Alfredo Tag with chicken. I figured the lasagna would take a while. When the food came out we got the Alfredo Tag, Caesar salad and lasagna. I was told my salad would be coming soon. The Caesar salad had kale in it, a bit unexpected. But the lasagna with meatballs was quite tasty. Definitely hit the spot! I was about half way done when my "salad" made it to the table. It wasn't a salad at all, but a caprese appetizer. Not what I was expecting but it wasn't bad. My only feedback on that dish is that it needed a slice of baguette to put all the ingredients onto because it was quite awkward trying to put it all on a fork and it falls apart. I did mention this to our bartender. The manager also came by and let me know that because I had to wait so long for my caprese dish that it would be discounted. I appreciate that. Also, the description on the menu the tomato basil needs to be more clear. I was fully expecting a salad. After my "not salad" arrived, I got my garlic bread for the lasagna, which I was almost done eating. The ambience is good. I enjoyed the candle for a little mood lighting. There was good music playing... some classic oldies. The service was okay but there is a lot of improvement needed. There was a wrapper on our table likely from the last party at the table. I get the impression the kitchen is very disorganized. I also get the impression that there may have been personnel changes and that could explain some of the disorganization. I would like to try Sliced again in 6 months and I hope the service has improved. I'm still giving 4 stars because the staff were quite friendly and the manager did discount one of the dishes due to a long wait time. I see potential... it's time to get dialed in.

Went for lunch, both of us ordered their soup and salad off the lunch menu. After about 15 minutes I got the soup and my wife got her salad. The soup had been obviously microwaved. About 10 minutes latter the second soup arrived. We asked for crackers and were told they had no crackers. Heard the waitress telling the two kitchen staff she needed a garden salad. Another 5 minutes the garden salad arrived. It looked like it was picked out of a garbage can. Croutons are old and mushy and have no choices of dressing. Only two other customers in the business. One of the worst experiences and the second time this has happened. A terrible establishment and staff really don't care about poor service and food quality. T.his is the second time with bad food and terrible service. Wrote off the first, but now seems to be their business model

I wish I could give this place 4 stars, but that would be misleading. The waitress and the manager were trying their best, but it appeared they were very understaffed. It took like an hour to get one drink from the bar and we had to remind the waitress several times about food items we were missing. The food was good though.
