Good food been around for years Always stops there welp in the summer for a Great Chicago style Hot Dog with everything it supposed to come on it... Never misses

Ive been to a few places.. mostly touristy.. and im not a Chicagoan.. But...,i will say this is the best Chicago dog ive ever had... the presentation, fyixins, fries, all that stuff.. da best!Furthermore what makes this place better is they use a different bun.. its almost a poppyseed type thAng thAng.. really accents the flavors nicely.Yes highly recommend.Yes, this is the Best Chicago Dog.And yes Ive been some places, and seen some thAngs = i know what im doing & talking about.

Great little hotdog stand on the east side. The service is always quick and super friendly. They have tables outside if you want to eat here.

I actually really enjoyed the food here. Fries were delicious and the fried mushrooms were the best!! The poppers are good but remind me a lot like jack in the box, it's not a bad thing at all because I love JNB food ahaha. The only reason the get 4 star is because the girls there are rude!

I've stopped by Skyway a few times since I go over to Indiana and despite the name this avoids the Skyways. The drive through is a good option and not one you see too often in a non-chain. They also have pizza puffs which they do well-last time I made my visiting friend eat one despite his lack of hunger. He actually just wanted a Chicago style hot dog and this is where it goes awry. They serve the dog with cucumbers, which is a weird addition. Yes, that's right an addition not a substitution for the pickle.Weird, arbitrary and unnecessary. I've had it before so I ended up trying out their Italian beef, I requested it dunked with hot peppers and aside from the fact that there was only like 6 peppers to speak of it was pretty dry to boot.I will probably come through again if I'm back in town and pressed for time. Otherwise, I'll wait to find a spot on either side of the Skyway.

I walked inside during rush hour, without a single customer in sight waiting to place an order. There were 2 women having a grand ole girl talk while I awkwardly waited there to place a simple order. After 2 minutes of observing the chatter continue, I decided to go elsewhere. With any restaurant establishment, service is the key, hence why it's called the service industry. If their conversation was more important than my service, there's no way I'm spending a red cent there. Next!

So my friends Harold and Kevin raved so about this hotdog place that I decided to give it a go and drove out of my way to try their Chicago Style Hotdog. Unlike a few of the reviews, I found the staff to be friendly and the service prompt. It ends up the owner, Bob, grew up near Carl's Red Hots hotdog stand on 83rd & Jeffery and derived his inspiration from there. It shows. Vienna Vienna Vienna! Dogs, polishes, buns, etc. These were really good dogs--I ate two! I'm not certain the cucumber is true to the "Chicago Style Hotdog," but I'm not offended. This was worth the trip. The French Fries were also outstanding--crisp and well salted. (I hate soggy fries don't you--LOL) This place was worth the trip.

Hot dogs & burgers are still the best!! I've been gone for about 30 years and I still have to visit this landmark of a place which always brings back my childhood memories. It's a small place but a great spot and the employees are awesome!

Their drive thru intercom doesn't work well and they can't hear the orders so they get the orders wrong. They have poor customer service and are rude.

Sad to see this place go I have been loving this place I hope the new owner will keep continuing the tradition
