To start off, the customer service was below average. We never got checked on for refills and we waited over 30 minutes for our food after receiving drinks. Food taste is subjective but the macaroni and cheese had no taste at all. It was like I was just eating the boiled pasta. No Flavor. Very disappointed with Skillet as I expected to be satisfied with my meal but it was $60 down the drain. Didn't like my main dish either.. Presentation looks better than how it tastes...

We were looking for a sit down breakfast in the downtown core on a weekend. It took a long time to be acknowledged at the entrance, and even longer to be seated. It was odd because there were a lot of tables open and a lot of wait staff running around. It seemed that staff coverage (who was doing what) was a bit ad hoc. A lot of tables needed bussing. Once we were seated it took a long time for someone to come take our order. A very pleasant woman finally stopped and asked us if we'd been served (we hadn't) and once she took us on, things improved. Food was substantial in size. I think they could make portions smaller and no one would go hungry; I know that's the diner ethos but it seemed a bit much. My chilaquiles were huge (more like breakfast nachos); the over easy eggs were well done but the whole thing was a lot wetter (sauce + salsa) than I prefer. My guy liked his chicken and waffles well enough.I would come back to Skillet if I was absolutely famished and needed a lot of breakfast in a sit down environment.

I swung by Skillet during a conference trip and found it to be a step up from your typical diner vibe, with a decently sized menu offering some tasty American fare. The cozy atmosphere was inviting, but snagging a seat can be a bit of a challenge due to its smaller size. While the wait staff was solid, the service wasn't lightning-fast during busy periods, so it's best to pop in when you've got some time to chill or during off-peak hours. Overall, if you're craving classic American dishes, Skillet hits the spot.

This review is only for the 'Lunch menu.'We arrived here around 6:00pm, diner was pretty empty so we were seated immediately. The restaurant is cozy and comfy. Our server was great, they were nice. We tried the Nashville Hot Chicken Sammy. The spice level was of the chicken was good, big piece of chicken and well coated! wish it came with more pickles (only had two) but it was good overall. I paired it with a side of Mac n' cheese which I topped my sandwich off with on every bite..honestly elevated the sandwich the Mac n' cheese on its own was decent. The flavor was lacking a little bit but the texture and cheesiness was there! (Solid 8/10 meal)We also tried The Jam Burger. This burger came with bacon jam and creamy bleu cheese. I'm not a fan of bleu cheese but it really didn't have a strong taste like your usual bleu cheese so it tasted great to me The side of fries were good - just tasted like your classic diner fries. (7/10)For drinks: we tried the Skillet Paloma and the Krakenade. The Paloma needed just a teeny bit more grapefruit but it was decent (6/10). The Krakenade was the star of the show here. This drink was composed of tequila, blue curacao, pineapple and lemon juice. This was surprisingly really good! (9/10 drink, def coming back for this!)This is a good casual spot to hang out at, decent food, small menu tho. If you're not picky and want a quick bite...check it out.

Pretty standard brunch spot, but super solid! Clean and modern with great servers and one of my go-to brunch spots in Seattle.

I've been to skillet a few times and every time I leave full and satisfied. Their food is delicious for both brunch and dinner. I've tried their salmon sandwich, hot honey chicken sandwich (with an egg) and a breakfast plate containing: eggs, bacon, potatoes and a biscuit (the biscuit was wonderful). My bfs go to order is the chub with a side tomato bisque soup but last time we visited he loved my hot honey chicken sandwich so much he considered switching his future order . Tips / recommendations: fries over the breakfast potatoes (garlic fries were phenomenal) and make reservations if possible, especially during brunch. This place tends to get busy and there are usually people waiting to be seated.

I have had Skillet on the to try list for a while now, and we finally made it. We walked in for breakfast on a holiday, and we were seated immediately. I loved the ambiance and vibe of the place, the service is friendly. We got The Benny, and the Big Bear Breaky with bacon and French toast. The Benny was good, a little too much hollandaise sauce for me, tasted good. The Big Bear Breky was good. We loved the French Toast. The hot chocolate and Mocha were both good.

This was our first stop when we landed in Seattle and let me tell you it was the best decision ever this diner definitely gives you diner vibes, but more of like a classy restaurant feeling too very comfortable and the food was absolutely amazing. Lots of flavor cooked perfect and just enough portion I do think that there could be a little bit more egg but overall delicious!!! Our waitress Jackie was very attentive, very kind, and was very excited when we enjoyed what we were getting she was great!!!!! When we come back to visit we will return! Check this place out for sure.

Love this brunch spot whenever I am craving a great chicken sandwich for brunch. The chicken is well seasoned and fried; it's crunchy and perfect with the sauce. Another must-try here is the Mac 'n' cheese; it's so cheesy and delicious! The Fried Chicken Breakfast Skillet is also another favorite of mine, with its perfectly cooked egg atop flavorful fried chicken, accompanied by roasted potatoes, bell peppers, and onions in the skillet. It satisfies all my needs for a breakfast meal! It's also fun to try the breakfast shots, which include a shot of bourbon and a shot of orange juice with a slice of bacon! It's such a great fix for my hangover. The ambiance has a modern dinner decor vibe, adding to the overall experience. There could be a little wait during busy weekend brunch times. But the staff took our orders fast and served the food quickly. Definitely coming back for more great brunch times!
