Batter done right - fried okra was amazing! My friend devoured his wings as well. My vegetarian burrito was delicious and filling. She was able to swap out a few things for me as well. So friendly! I ended up ordering a steak to go. Everything from sauces to side dishes are done with care.Prices are great and the service was exceptional. I see lots of people ordering take out since they are on uber eats and a few more delivery apps. Can't wait to come back and try their breakfast offerings!

I was so happy to see the Open sign, I rushed in there ordered the Chicken & Waffles with a side of Bacon. Rushed home to eat & was pissed TF off immediately!!!My chicken was not done at all. Waffles was dry as hell. Bacon was greasy as hell. I wanted to go back but I knew I would've been rude so I put it out for the alley cats. FIRED THAT GOT DAMN COOK!!! Food tasted dull as hell too!!! No flavor whatsoever. Very dissappointed.

I decided to try this spot out for lunch. Walking through the door, the place is not very clean. I don't remember anyone greeting us or offering to explain the menu. The woman at the cashier didn't talk much at all. There was one person waiting before.I ordered grilled chicken, macaroni, and yams. My friend ordered chicken wings and fries. We ordered at about 1:20 and received our food around 1:50. The food was warm. The macaroni and corn muffin was the most decent out of everything. The chicken breast as well as the chicken wings had no seasoning at all, despite them even sprinkling lemon pepper on the wings. The yams came in a sweet syrup. I feel like I need to give this place another try. Maybe try the jerk that everyone else seems to rave about, until then I'll leave this review as is.

The staff is rude ..I walked into "Skidoe's to get something to eat and patronize a black owned establishment, the young girl behind the counter was very nasty and rude when I asked about the menu, when I asked to speak with the manager she said "I'm the owner"....I walked out of there and would never spend my hard earned money at Skideos..

I enjoyed everything I ordered. I had fried chicken and breakfast combo of bacon omelette and French toast.. it was delicious and reasonably priced. They are located right near 51st green line stop in Chicago. They are somewhat of a hidden gem fairly new. It was a first I had the food delivered and it was prompt, they seemed courteous over the phone.

I ordered breakfast with my family. We had a large order. It was correct. My food was delicious. It tastes like home cooked Saturday morning breakfast. We had all the things needed to make this a happy meal. I had a steak skillet. Real potatoes and my egg were made with perfection. Thank you for that. I gave 4 stars because I expect restaurants serving breakfast to be open earlier than 9am. Support this business.

This place is horrible trade garbage and the phone number that they present on a website. And everywhere else doesn't even work. You can't complain that anybody. How ordered 5 different things from this restaurant? And they sent me 2 things and 2 separate containers. Missing my other three ithis restaurant is garbage. The service is garbage. Because if you can't complain or call somebody to report what's happening the service's garbage.

Pretty easy ordering. I ordered for pick up on DD. For it to be a cafe, they don't serve coffee fresh. I asked if they served coffee & the young lady said yes but it would take a few minutes to clean the pot & brew it. Breakfast tastes pretty good though.

Great tasting breakfast food especially the omelettes. Better to call your order ahead to avoid a long wait. They have a good kids menu also!

They operate under "Big Ace Cafe & Grill" on Uber eats. I ordered breakfast from them and it was disgusting!! The corned beef hash was missing. The french toast was stale, like it was reheated/re-used from another order. There was tomato and onion stuck to the bottom of my French toast also, which further leads me to believe it either came off of someone else's plate or their kitchen is filthy. And to add insult to injury, there was a roach/bug leg in the syrup. Absolutely disgusting!! I reported them to the Board of Health.
