Yummy hole in the wall type of place. Super popular with locals and the fires are soooo good. The garlic fries are my favorite. I didn't enjoy the hot dog too much but the burgers are yummy

Really disappointed. I drove all the way out here (a little over an hour) because the food looked so good and I've been craving a good burger and a good salad. I arrived at a little after 6:30 on Saturday 6/1/2024 and there was a sign saying "not taking anymore orders"..... an hour before closing...... it would be nice to update the info on this place and say the hours are "sort of 7:30". I'm giving two stars because this is super frustrating, but I am trying to give grace in case something super major happened like an emergency with an employee or something. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd probably stop by and see if it's actually open. However, I wouldn't suggest going out of your way unless you know for a fact that they'll be open. If I do happen to be in the area and get a chance to try the food, I'll update my review.

We thought the burgers were good but not as great as everyone saysThe meat was cooked last well done and took away some taste The fries were good !

I came here after visiting the tulips in Mount Vernon a few days ago. It was mid afternoon and nobody was in line. We ordered the jalapeño ranch burger, western burger, large garlic waffle fries, and a peanut butter strawberry shake. The total came out to ~$40, which is pretty pricey for grab and go burgers. Overall, the food was yummy. The burgers were flavorful and juicy. The garlic fries were very good and I liked that they were made with fresh garlic and herbs.

Damn good burgers. Messy as a good burger should be.Damn good waffle fries.I had the Teriyaki burger and my daughter had the Atomic Mushroom. We were both super happy with the burgers.

would think long and hard about going back we went May 2024 * i know this is long but i dont know who to describe it any other way We heard so much about this place and after years finally decided to give it a shot--this is a mixed review -my husband got the "Bacon Ranch Jalapeño Burger$9.49 Pepper-jack and cheddar cheese with grilled onions, ranch, fresh jalapeños and tomatoes... and of course bacon!" -yummy it sounds! I wanted the hotdog with ketchup and mustard only . when i asked if i could put my own on i was told no! we dont do that. thinking about their take out business i asked if they had packages i could use {as i liked hotdogs how i like them} and i was told no again. i tried to make lite of it and said "im sorry im almost 70 and i know how i like my dogs!-- a woman's voice from the back loudly said - Calm down! Calm down! which I found rude enough to want to leave and confused as to why it was said As we were waiting for our food we noticed a lot of black smoke coming out of the smoke vent on top that smelled dirty.- - when we got our food the burger looked good but had an oddish taste and had black flakes on it as if the grill was dirty which caused my husband stomach issues for hours My hot dog was a nice 1/4 pounder [but not worth$5.99 + 10% inflation fee i felt ] even tho i was happy to see ketchup and mustard in little cups which was nice but it had came across as a huge inconvenience to get .. the onion rings are all over the place -the coating was a wonderful sweetish flavor of nice pancake mix- fantastic tasting BUT there was so much coating on the rings that some of them were like eating onion doughnuts we didn't finish them even though they were yummy in doughnut onion rings way as we personally like more onion and less batter -- when we went to throw our trash away we noticed stacks of trash out their backdoor and saw someone opened the back door and threw out more trash on the pile ... doesn't quite conjuror up the word high quality mentioned about this place for $25.00 i would go someplace else

Food: the burgers and onion rings are good. Not excellent, but good. I'm guessing it's the best burger in Skagit County. The fries are not worth having, as they are those frozen crinkle ones. The ranch dressing is rather unfortunate. The Bear Beaver brand root beer they sell is wow!Service was friendly and quick. This place serves burgers from a shack on the side of a highway. You'll likely be eating your burger in the parking lot, so if you don't like that kind of ambiance, this isn't the place for you.If you're in Arlington and want to try the best burger and onion rings in Snohomish County, go to Nutty's Junkyard.

Burgers less than $10 are hard to come by these days except for fast food chains. They do crank out the burgers pretty quickly and the people who work there are super nice. I had the Skagit Burger, $7.99 and was pretty good. Loved the waffle fries too. Better than In And Out, IMO. Given their cult like following, this place probably also has a devoted following. Between Burlington and Bellingham this is the best burger, hands down. Check it out.

Best blue cheeseburger ever and onion rings with their house sauce. I wish they were open seven days a week at least 11 AM to 8 PM.

Best burgers, fries, waffle fries etc of my 32 years on earth. So good it makes you feel guilty!
