Do not eat here, I repeat DO NOT EAT HERE! My daughter and I ordered food and within hours we both had SEVERE food poisoning. I should've read the reviews before I came here, don't waste your money on this place, unless you want to be throwing up for hours! The staff was rude too.

Great lunch spot in South Lake Union! It gets pretty busy on weekdays during the lunch hour, but the like moves pretty fast and the food is definitely worth it. My go to is some variation of a grilled chicken bowl - the portions are pretty generous and the food and topping are always super tasty! If you are indecisive about what protein to choose you can do half and half (I sometimes do half chicken half tofu)

Only came here because I ordered uber eats pickup to the wrong location and couldn't cancel in time. Despite my foul mood after my very time consuming journey from UW, I must say the interior is very nice and the workers were so kind. Turned my unfortunate experience into a peaceful adventure.

We typically get the plates which you can never go wrong with the chicken and rice option. I decided to try the Banh mi knowing that it was probably not going to be authentic, and it wasn't bad. I'm not sure I would get it again other than the fact that the green sauce made it taste better. I'll stick to the rice plate in the future, and go somewhere else for a Vietnamese sandwich. My most recent visit we ordered GrubHub for pick up, and they gave us the wrong order so we had to return. When they did give us our order. They forgot our add additional egg on top... So service definitely needs to improve. Other than that this place is a generally a good spot to go to.

Such a lovely and yummy spot! I had heard so many great things about this spot and finally got the chance to try it for lunch. We arrived around 11:40 and there was a decent sized line, but this actually ended up being a great time since by the time we finished ordering the line was extremely long. They do move fast here though, since it's more of a chipotle style ordering system.I got the house pork place which came with pork belly and grilled pork on top of broken rice, and a side of cucumber, tomato, and veggie salad. The portions are not only massive that it lasts more than one meal, but the food itself is absolutely delicious! Both types of pork were so flavorful and well seasoned, and the broken rice was fantastic and fragrant. I also loved the green dressing they give with the salad which tastes super fresh and tangy. For a lunch spot, this is fantastic and conveniently located. I would totally be back more often if I had the opportunity. They're also open super late, so I may have to run here for some late night Vietnamese food cravings at some point :)

Holy cow, I LOVE Sizzle&Crunch. It's located in a very walkable area in SLU right between some Amazon buildings, with indoor and outdoor seating. I got the Steak Vermicelli Bowl with an egg and it was amazing. I really recommend getting the soy sauce and the fish sauce because those two flavor the vermicelli so well. Steak is tender, egg is perfectly gooey. This is my fav meal in the SLU area and the price is really good! I usually order on Uber Eats then pick up since they have some deals on there that they don't have in store.

Build-your-own Vietnamese bowl type spot. Banh mih and rice plates as options too.Build my own bowl ($13ish) with grilled pork and chicken on a vermicelli and salad base. It was awesome :)Loved the variety of sauces (get the jalapeño aioli yum!)Super kind staff, awesome outdoor dog friendly patio too.

Came here for lunch and got the BB Special Banh Mi, and it was definitely special. They pile it high with pork belly and grilled pork, along with a fried egg. You can choose what toppings and I opted for the classic jalapeño, pickled carrot, and cucumber topping. The sandwich was huge and the price was really affordable ($11) for something that could easily last you one and a half to two meals. The meat was also super juicy and flavorful, and the banh mi bread wasn't too dry or too crispy, which is a common issue with other banh mi shops. It definitely does get messy though, so I'd grab some extra napkins :)

This is one of my favorite to go spots ever. I ALWAYS get the chicken bowl. This easily makes 2 meals, feels healthy and is so tasty. I always get condiments and put the fish sauce on top, it makes it even better. The wait is really long at lunch time at weekdays so be aware. I usually order on door dash to skip the line.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sizzle & Crunch, a delightful small chain offering chipotle-style bowls with a Vietnamese twist, located in Seattle.First and foremost, the concept of customizable bowls reminds me of Chipotle, but with Vietnamese flavors, is absolutely genius. It caters to a diverse range of tastes while offering a unique culinary experience. The freedom to choose from various proteins, toppings, and bases is a major highlight of Sizzle & Crunch. It allows for endless combinations and ensures every visit can be a new culinary adventure.I opted for the salad bowl with pork, and let me tell you, the pork was phenomenal. Tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned--it elevated the entire dish. As someone following a keto diet, I was thrilled to find such a satisfying option that aligned with my dietary preferences.Adding an egg to my bowl was an extra charge, but it was worth it. It brought an additional layer of flavor and richness that complemented the other ingredients beautifully. However, I must mention one minor inconvenience. On the day of my visit, it was particularly cold in Seattle, and unfortunately, leaving the door open made the dining area quite chilly. It would have been much more enjoyable if the temperature inside was warmer, especially during the colder months.
