My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. From the service, vibe, to the delicious food. We stopped in after a visit to Oakland Cemetery, looking for a spot to get out of the heat and grab a quick bite. This spot delivered. We enjoyed the catfish platter and shrimp basket. Along with some drinks as well. Drinks had great flavor and a little kick to them. The food was seasoned nicely and came out nice and crispy. We were taken great care of by our server -- he made sure our meal was coursed nicely and always kept our waters filled and adequately checked on us. We can't wait to visit again!

Great seafood. This place is a gem. Fast friendly service with a smile. Indoor ( with AC) and out door seating. Attentive server who knew the menuand made great recommendations. I highly recommend the seafood stew.

A great intown seafood spot! Good service and food. You can get both fried and baked/steamed food for those watching their diet. Fresh veggies are also an option of chips. The atmosphere is casual and fun- filled with groups gathering and enjoying shared options.Parking a little hard but if you find parking in the neighborhood you can have an impromptu community house tour of historic homes.

Came today based off of reviews I got from some friends. Customer service was really good my server was nice and attentive. I loved all the tvs were already on sports as I was watching the lacrosse championship (go Irish!) The restaurant is spacious and there's patio space upstairs and tables on the sidewalk.I ordered a sweet tea ($3.75) and started with conch fritters market price of $18.50 they were decent and extremely hot fresh out the grease bc I burned my mouth lol. The conch was there bc I could see it but it was more breading than meat. Also ordered the oyster Rockefeller ($25.50) they were good and meaty but flavor wise I should've ordered the garlic ones bc it's lacking season. For my entree I got the fried catfish platter with a side of turnips and corn ($21) sadly like my starters it lacked season and when my husband asked how my food was I could only describe it as bland. I usually don't use hot sauce but I had to use it today. The corn was good and sweet though. I really wanted to love this place but unfortunately compared to the reviews I gathered from some people I know, it just wasn't the hype I was expecting. 3 stars bc it does seem to be a good place to come for drinks and to watch a game and the customer service we received was good.

Ambiance was cool. Packed place. We were seated immediately on a Saturday night. Waitress was okay and attentive for the most part. Now for the cons....the food sucked. I've been here many, many times and it's been great. You have fallen off completely. This food was a bit under cooked...Fish, shrimp, calamari...and the batter fell off. I hate that. It came out looking good but a different story when you dive in. The fries...greasy and soggy. Please stop placing greasy fried food on top of fries. Sense wise...it makes none. Logically, think about it!?The sodas were flat. Yuck. Had to send those back. Paying at the table using the bar code...cool, easy. But we opted out and paid directly to her after you force a percentage of tip on the ticket meaning you are unable to change it whether it's more or less. I probably won't be back.

Meh. Nothing special about this place. The salmon I ordered was fine, not dry, but also not incredibly juicy and flavorful. My salad was boring but that's mainly my fault because I asked for no dressing. My husband got the crab cakes and he said they were average... He did have a bite of my kid's cheeseburger and he said that was good. This place got the job done but it won't be a place I dream about and crave in the future.

And If I must say if I could have went for a fourth drink I would have They had a band that came in and played it was nice and entertaining . Overall I'll give them a 10 out of 10. I wanted this place to be good because it has a nice atmosphere and the menu is interesting. But the food just wasnt very good. Their signature hushpuppies were dry and bready. The asparagus was stringy and bland. The baked shrimp and scallops were fine but also bland. Finally, I figured since so many other dishes are battered and fried that they would really be good at that --- but the onion rings had a hard thick coating.Maybe other dishes are better, but.....I doubt it.
