Came here to try their Nashville fried chicken. I ordered the wings with slaw. I did wait a few minutes until someone (initial server) asked me what I needed. They did have a sign that said "please wait to be seated" and as a first timer, I figured I'd wait and someone would help me. I told him I was waiting to be seated as the sign said. The wings were MASSIVE and tasted of Nashville hot. When you eat the breading which was crunchy and had tons of crunch, the breading would fall off and you would just be eating the meat. It was all tasty and moist but it was hard to eat in general. The slaw was a good palette cleanser. It could have used more creaminess but otherwise good. The server that helped me during my meal was nice and kept checking in on me. Lastly, the server (initial server) had mentioned to another couple that it was half off mimosas and had not mentioned it to me. I would have ordered that instead of the cider I ordered if I had knew even though there was a menu.

The service was quite friendly and nice from the start! The restaurant is really dark, with cool decor :)The food tasted great in the moment, with the sheer amount of oil. However, all of us woke up the next morning feeling sick. The chicken and waffles were VERY hard, with a lot of excess breading, to the point where it was difficult to cut with a metal knife. The fried catfish was great, with substantially less breading than the chicken (but still a lot). The sides: okra, fries, green tomatoes, and hush puppies were AMAZING. Mac and cheese was average and the slaw was quite bad. Great spot for unhealthy food but know you will feel bad the next day :/

Sisters and Brothers is a place you might not even notice just driving past it. It's in a little area that's with a small coffee hut. Walking inside you would never guess it's for Nashville hot chicken. The interior is a little eclectic? I would say. I'm going to start with kind of the bad, and it's the prices. I got 3 pieces, one thigh, two drums, and one side with a slice of bread for $25 after tax. It's a little pricey in my opinion for the amount of food you're getting, but it is what it is.That's the only thing bad about the food though. Other than that it was delicious and I can't say anything bad about it. Their chicken isn't saucy, which I prefer so my fingers don't get all messy. Had a nice crunch to it, and the medium spiciness was absolutely perfect for me. I can eat spicier and I would advise those that don't eat spicy often to get something less than that. The cool thing that I liked was that the chicken thigh was boneless. Imagine me looking for the bone so I can rip it off before tearing into the meat, but there just wasn't. The gouda mac and cheese was so good. Always a magical combination. The only thing that I didn't like as much is the amount of chili powder they put on it. Their bread was just a slice of white bread, but another surprising star was their little pickle slices. I can't believe I'm giving so much credit to pickle slices, but they were so good. I put a slice on top of the bread but it was even better with the mac and cheese. Don't knock it till you try it.

Sisters and Brothers is a dive bar with a heart! I joined a friend here for brunch (unlimited mimosas? count me in!) on a Sunday around noon. We had no trouble getting seated promptly. The decor is fun and kitschy and our server was super attentive which was impressive because I think he was also tending the bar. I always temper my expectations when eating "non-native" foods (Seattle is a long way from Nashville) but my tenders were actually great! I got Seattle Hot spice level and while they were comfortably spicy, I probably would get Nashville Hot next time. Either way, it's always a treat to find *actual* spice and seasonings out here. I also had the fried okra on the side which was a real treat to see this far from the Southern US-- and they were good! The only con of my experience would be the bathroom. It's pretty small and *exactly* what you'd expect at a dive bar in terms of ambiance so plan your mimosa intake accordingly :)

Max got chicken sandwich with 7 stars of hotness.I got my usual 3 piece tenders, with Seattle hot (mild) and we both got slaw as our side to cool things down. The slaw wasn't bad but not my style. I really love the KFC type slaw (sweeter?) so next time I will return to the mac n cheese as a side. The real star of the show here are the tenders and boy are they yummy. I love going here. Keep it up Sisters and Brothers!

Don't be fooled by the inauspicious exterior of Sisters and Brothers. Once you walk inside and are seated, you will discover magic. There are kitschy and fun decorations all around. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The drinks are affordable and varied. Then, there is the chicken. I have a very high spice tolerance but had been warned their spice scale ran hot. I went for the Seattle Spice which was good but not quite enough for me. I asked for sides of Nashville and Insane spice. Next time, I will upgrade to Nashville for sure. I don't think hotter than that is necessary. My friends when for baby spice and were satisfied with that. Anyway, it was a fun and flavorful night out for our group of 12!

I give this place five stars because it's is very hospitable. The price of the food was also fair for what I got. Like this chicken sandwich is THICCC. Also I liked the vintage feel of the place. It actually made me kind of happy to be in a more laid back setting. It was eclectic with a lot of throw back pictures and memorabilia. My friend was visiting from Thailand. So it was cool that he got experience a little taste of the south while he was here in Seattle. I almost ordered all of the sides just so he could sample but we didn't have time. In terms of service they only had one guy working. He was really nice but very busy. He definitely still took care of us so kudos! Food was good and the drinks were strong (just had a whiskey ginger).

Came here for dinner the other night before a Mariners game. Was excited to find a Nashville hot chicken place because there are so few here. Too bad the food wasn't very good. We got there around 5:30 and were the only ones there. Service was friendly and fast. This place has some really eclectic decorations that make you feel like you're in your grandparents' dimly lit basement. Was definitely different but fun. I got the three tenders with mac and cheese as my side. I opted for the mild since the server said it still had a decent kick to it and I didn't want something super spicy. Well it was totally mild and had zero spice. So don't get this if you want any heat. The tenders were over breaded and over fried. The chicken was pretty dry and the breading pretty much all fell off every time I tried to cut off a piece. They were also incredibly greasy. Unfortunately I didn't like them at all and barely ate one. The Mac and cheese was decent but nothing special. It was on the bland side and I didn't think the huge amount of paprika on top added anything. My husband got the chicken sandwich which was massive. He said it was pretty good but way too greasy. Having had a lot of good Nashville hot chicken before, this place was seriously disappointing.

The chicken is so juicy, and when they say XXL they are not lying. The price is up there but the portion and quality for the price is spot on. There is a good size parking lot and the inside has a bar as well. The customer service was amazing. We arrived 15-20mins before closing with the mind to order to go. Last minute we decided to eat in and the server was so nice. He did not rush us at all and always told us that we can take our time since the staff would still have to clean and such before closing. I really appreciated how he noticed we were kinda rushing since it was near closing and reassured us. The food is very good, nicely seasoned. The coleslaw is not bland and I'm here for it. My spice tolerance is not spectacular but I ordered the 3 spice because others rave about their great spices so I had to try it. For my people who also is not spice tolerance friendly, 3 spice is quite spicy but the flavors are worth it. My boyfriend ordered the tenders non spicy and it still had great amount of seasoning. Sauce dip is extra but I do recommend it.
