Sip Coffee & Beer

This is a great place to come in and do your work on the computer. I got the horchata latte and it was a 5/10, nothing special. But it is a nice place to go with fun people.

Although staff was friendly and the design/location is nice, the drinks we got were disappointing. The promotional signs made the drinks look interesting and tasty but the actual drinks looked nothing like them.My friend got the strawberry matcha latte which had very defined layers. The picture attached to this review is how it came to her! No defined layers, not very green. She said it tasted like lightly strawberry flavored oat milk, and very little like matcha. She threw it out as soon as we got to the hotel with very few sips. I had high hopes for the horchata cold brew. It was cinnamon-y but not at all like how it was pictured, and over time it sort of started... separating? I dunno, I ended up getting about halfway and tossing the rest. 2/5 because of how different the drinks were compared to how they were advertised. Perhaps it was someone new but it was shortly after 7am when there should technically be a lot of people rolling in for their morning brew.

Great service, I always come for the iced tea or a smoothie but the coffee is great too. Really relaxing place to work. They have a really nice patio. Great little coffee shop in old town Scottsdale.

Came in here to grab a drink and read and I really ended up loving this spot. I got an iced matcha with brown sugar which was super yummy! I like that this spot has a lot of indoor seating but oh my god it was so hot in there. Overall I enjoyed my time and would definitely come back.

Happy employees make for happy customers! And that's what was waiting for me at SIP. Great, friendly barista who made an excellent iced americano. SIP has such a warm environment with people at computers, chit chatting, making out...perfect! A great coffee in a great environment and a great book. SIP is a BINGO!

This is a great spot to get work done around others or to kick back and enjoy conversation or meetings. The coffee and food are okay for what you pay, but truthfully, I go more for the ambiance. The prices are a bit high and you have to get a new Wi-Fi code each visit, but the atmosphere makes up for these aspects. Staff are friendly and the couches and community table make it easier to meet people. When you have a few hours and don't want to work from home, this is a good option.

I've been to Sip many times over the years and it's a great spot to catch up with friends or get some work done. Coffee and food have been good and they have a nice little beer selection as well. Ambiance is great. Lots of tables inside and outside on the patio. Haven't had any issues with WiFi and getting some things done.Overall it's just a great spot. They need to open one down in Tempe for me to hit up more regularly.

Fabulous coffee, light bites, beer and booze in old town Scottsdale. Opens at 7am for coffee and beer alike. Nice patio, with doggie water bowls as well. Good selection of flavored coffees, and beers on tap are awesome. Of particular note is that coffee refills are free! I just think I found my favorite early morning hangout place in Sco

Super friendly staff when I went in the other day to do some work. I got their breakfast burrito which was really good, always could use more bacon but overall good taste! The coffee also was good, gave me energy to finish our meeting that we were having.They have inside and outside seating which is nice especially on the beautiful days before summer comes The ambiance was quiet , good amount of people working on their laptops or socializing with friends and it wasn't too loud that you couldn't work.

Ok so this place used to be hit and miss and in the last series of changes it went to ONLY HIT! The coffee is still good but the addition of craft cocktails.... What an ingenious idea... We've moved from coffee shop to absolute brunch destination with only light or moderate food. For food we tried the avocado toast and I always like to breakfast burrito .. but if you're coming here for just the food, I would highly recommend expanding your horizons into a well-established drink menu. There's plenty of options on tap, but the true gems are the specialty cocktails that they have created - specifically when they combine the fruit fusion or a cold brew coffee in otherwise traditional cocktail. Cold brew old fashion anyone????The staff was amazing, friendly, and was willing to offer suggestions when I didn't know what to try for my next drink. They steered me in the direction I might not have gone, but was very pleased with the results.!!! For coffee shops in old town Scottsdale, this has just skyrocketed to one of my top three suggestions for people that decide to visit (the locals already know how good it is and you can find us here!)
