A friend invited a group of us to hear her friend sing R& B. RandolphMiles did not disappoint. Mr.Mikes has the smoothest voice. Engaged the crowd and made it a very fun night. If you like R&B he is at Singing Panda the first Tuesday of each month. We had a large table of 14. The restaurant had no problem giving us all separate checks. I ordered Mongolian Beef with plain rice and my husband ordered Kung Pao chicken, medium heat, with fried rice. The food was better than I was expecting!! The beef and chicken were both so tender and flavorful! Veggies in each dish fresh. It was expensive but we received a lot of food and we were completely full. I guess now days all restaurant food is expensive. Fun experience. Check out their entertainment menu on their website.

We came here on Sunday night. I highly recommend making a reservation. From the outside you wouldn't expect the inside. It's clean and welcoming. There is a small stage on the bigger room for performers. Our waitress was friendly, she was very kind to our kiddos. We ordered a lot of different dishes to try a bit of everything. Everything tasted great. The calamari's were delish. The entertainment was so fun. Our table was singing and having fun. They came around our table to say hi and check in. It felt like such a great familiar environment. It was so much fun, definitely come here with the family.

I hadn't been to this restaurant since my last review. It was a quiet afternoon, so I missed the entertainment yet again. I have taken a photo of the present entertainment schedule so maybe I can partake the next time I visit.I had a spicy General Tso chicken dish and a Singapore rice noodle dish. The chicken dish was very good with a lot of flavor. The meat was tender. It had a bit of spiciness to it. I loved how the chicken had a tempura batter. The tempura batter was light and crispy. Unfortunately I don't work nearby so I can't partake in the lunch specials. I think if they were offered on Saturday or Sunday afternoon I would go more often. As it is, Singing Panda is like a special treat. Overall, the food was good with quality meat and cooking.

Absolutely obsessed with this hidden gem! We ordered the General Tso both times! Tried the egg rolls first visit, pot stickers second visit. Loved everything both times! Great food, service, drinks and I love the live music and entertainment was fantastic! Absolutely love the vibes and atmosphere and some of the best asian food in the Gilbert/Chandler/Mesa area!

Jet Li "Fact": Jet Li has a vegan brother. His name is Brocco Li.This isn't true. I just wanted to make a joke. ;DPlease don't attack me over this review because while this place is so widely loved, I wasn't into it. Entrees start at $17, and perhaps it pays for the singing performance, which we didn't get to see the early evening we went, but I wasn't impressed. I had the pot stickers and sesame chicken, and while decent, I didn't think it justified the price. I worked at the most amazing Chinese takeout in my youth, so I feel I might be harder to impress though. The food is more of the Americanized-Chinese variety. While the food is good and service is great, I'm not sure I'd be popping back in.

Ordered the general tso's chicken with medium heat, fried rice, spring rolls with a miller lite. The wife ordered egg foo young with pork and white rice. The spring rolls were ok. I liked them, the wife didn't. Both main courses were excellent. The white rice seemed over cooked and the fried rice was marginal. The servers had very heavy accents and it was difficult to understand them. The live entertainment was good, but a little too loud making communication difficult. But the main courses were good. I will be back

I came here with a New Yorkers Meetup on Christmas Day . The Meetup organizer said in his event writeup, this place has "awesome AUTHENIC Chinese food". I was really disappointed when I saw the menu, I am real Chinese and to me nothing could be further from "authentic". It is "very authentic Gringo Americans' idea of 'Chinese' food". How Gringo can you get with dishes like General Tao's Chicken, Egg Foo Yung, Gung Pao Chicken. All the people in here are non Asians, which further verifies that this place is not for authentic Chinese food. The Organizer of our MeetUp is non-Asian, from New York, I thought he knew what "authentic" Chinese food is, but his opinion isn't mine. I asked him how did he come to call his "authentic Chinese food". He said those were the Cantonese dishes he had in New York. But when I asked if the people in those places he ate at in NY were all Chinese and no white people in there, he said nothing, cos people of Asian descent do not to go restaurants that have the entrees on Singing Panda's menu, cos it is "Amercan food".. There is a "Chinese Restaurant" on every block in any large city, but when I call them (e.g. Jade Palace Scottsdale) and ask if Chinese people ever eat there, staff person says, "No Chinese ever eat here". That is because the menu offers the exact same dishes as Singing Panda, which isn't dishes REAL Chinese would go to and pay to eat. Likewise, you don't see non-Asians eating in truly authentic Chinese restaurants eating fish, chicken, duck, and shrimp served with heads on and lotsa bones, pickled pig ears and chicken feet as appetizers, and lotsa fat and pig skin.Well you come for the Singing Panda Mike Russell who does a Vegas variety act called Legend's Showcase Tribute Act and he performs stuff like Elvis, Blues Brothers, Garth Brooks. Mike himself looks like Robin Williams, to me. There are other singers too. The show was only 30 min. I ordered the least Gringo dish to me, the Cantonese pan fried noodles, which is crispy noodles with sauce of veggies and meat slivers. $20.99. Tasted pretty good. Lots of meat, four large shrimp, and veggies. Big bowl of fried rice, too. Tastes good . All food arrived hot. Several people mentioned the wish the broccoli was cooked more. i agree, they said they were gonna take the broccoli home to cook it more. Too raw, hard and crunchy. They forgot lady's order across from me . She waited an hour. They finally brought her orange shrimp order, after the rest of our group was done eating, and the show was long over, plus another dish, the orange chicken that they mistakenly repaired their mistake with, and gave her a free cheesecake, too Later she complained that the gratis dish was not shrimp and said she doesn't eat chicken, so they took back the orange chicken dish and didn't replace it. They gave another lady in our party, the wrong order, too, I think it was about the same orange chicken instead of orange shrimp. They brought me the wrong rice, too but I told the server that if she won't charge me for the upgraded rice, then she doesn't have to go and get me the white Jasmine rice. She said OK, and I didn't get charged for the upgrade that was brought to me. The fried rice was so good, and a big bowl of it, too, if I had known, I woulda paid the $1.50 to upgrade to it, but I got it free.I won't come back, for $27.43 for the fried rice and entree I show pictures below, no drink but water (including 20% tip for our large group, and tax), I'd rather have cheaper TRULY Authentic Cantonese food with no singing show, only 2 miles down the street at Dobson and Chandler, or at Main and Dobson, lots of choices, where everyone eating in the restaurant is Chinese, and they don't give you forks, unless you specifically ask for one. I could buy two truly AUTHENTIC Chinese entrees with the $27.43.

Is this place a restaurant of creative genius? Does it have all of its Michelin stars? Nope!Think very good, classic, solid, wonderful American Chinese food that you grew up with but done well and the hoisin on the mu shu is the singers. Think throw back music too...Neil Diamond, Barry Manolo and you'll be singing along to retro music with your retro food.So fun! Next time I'm bringing the kids too for some serious "Dad is a dork" contributions to the dork bank. Can't wait!..."Far, we've traveling far without ..."
