Singhs Kitchen is located in the heart of Libertyville and I can't recommend it enough! If you ever find yourself in Libertyville, this is the best place you can stop for lunch or dinner. The flavors included in all the dishes were put together so well. Everything was beyond flavorful. My favorite part about this place was the uniqueness of the menu. I loved the modern Indian style and the handful of options available that you usually don't see on Indian restaurant menus. The paneer pizza and build your own pasta dish were seriously the best Indian fusion dishes I've ever had. The brussel sprout appetizer was to die for! I recommend trying some of their interesting menu items. I am already eager to go back and try other options. The servers were extremely knowledgeable and attentive during our visit! Make sure you try their martini, absolutely delicious!

Downtown Libertyville PRO TIP: Eat lunch at 1 pm to avoid the lunch crowd. They sold me with garlic naan. I don't know why that's not a staple at every Indian restaurant. It should be. And I can say the garlic naan didn't disappoint.Singh's Kitchen is trendy and fits right in with the other spots on Milwaukee Ave. It's actually a lot bigger once you get inside and realize it spans two store fronts. The big windows also make for a perfect spot to eat, chat, and people watch. There's a couple of interesting options on the menu so rather than sticking with one of my typical picks, I chose the Garlicghee Surf and Turf. Points for the clever name because I love a good pun. The pork and veggies were delicious. The rice was a simple yellow/turmeric rice, def the right option for this dish. The surf part of this dish was shrimp and it just didn't work for me. The meal it self was very flavorful, but the shrimp didn't feel cohesive with the pork and it was a little overcooked. Still a good dish, but I'll probably do some more exploring on the menu next time. I also tried the vegetable samosa and would absolutely recommend them. Also worth noting, when I was walking out I saw a buffet set up so it looks like their brunch buffet (that I read about in much older reviews) may have returned!

Singh's Kitchen resides on the endlessly entertaining Milwaukee Avenue in the heart of downtown Libertyville. Dishing up some amazing Indian-American cuisine in a cozy, yet modern setting. A window seat next to Milwaukee Ave. while it drizzled hit different on a Saturday morning. Chicken Tikka Samosa - Chicken Tikka Samosa 2 Baked Pastries filled with Bombay Chicken, Cheese, Makhani Sauce, Pickled Onions. Served with Cilantro & TamarindChutney. These samosas were amazing! I would absolutely return just for multiple plates of these Mango French Toast Thick-Cut Banana Bread Battered And Grilled To A Golden Brown. Stuffed With Mango Cream Cheese. Finished With Sarab's Spiced Tamarind Drizzle. If you like mangoes, you will enjoy this french toast Singh's Steak Hash Juicy Steak Shawarma With Grilled Veggies, Garlic Roasted Fingerling Potatoes, Topped With A Sunny Side Egg. This dish was very filling. A great option for protein, carbs, and veggies all in one! Indian Sweets for dessert: Rose, Vanilla, Pistachio, and Apple flavored. Brunch is served Saturday & Sunday 11 am - 3 pm Singh in Punjabi means lion, and their flavors are nothing less than fierce. Visit Singh's Kitchen for your Indian favorites and friendly service today!

I came here on a Sunday afternoon, and I was surprised to see we were the only patrons there. We were provided menus, and if not for washing my hands first, I wouldn't have known there was also a buffet option because it's tucked away at the back of the restaurant. I opted for the buffet while the rest of my party ordered off the menu. For $19.99, there was samosa (okay), chole curry (good), white rice, saag (not good), daal tadka (good), and 3 chicken currys (too much). They also brought garlic naan to the table. I'm surprised there was no biryani, tandoori chicken, nor another meat option, which is standard with Indian lunch buffets, especially on a weekend. Separately, I ordered the wings in makhani sauce and potato kulcha - both good. At the end, I asked about dessert for the buffet (also standard, but it was not placed out with the other buffet items), and they did bring out a bowl of extremely hot gulab jamun. It was good but served way too hot to eat, so I was able to take the rest home. The service is good, and we were checked on regularly. The restaurant is clean and decorated very nicely. I was disappointed that there was no changing table in the restroom, however. Overall, I don't think I'd go back, given I live closer to Little India and other Indian restaurants in the north suburbs.

the food was very good and fresh, it was served in a very nice room. No this is not fine dining but if I enjoy a place I rate it well. the service was very nice and they visited often.. This will be a place we go back to often as we learn more about Indian food.. The mango lassi countered any of the spices and was a delight. Thank you for coming to Libertyville.

Bought the Ras Malai for pick up thinking it was going to be a full cake, but was given this tiny cup of it instead. My boyfriend ended up calling after we picked it up to make sure we were handed the right thing, after all we paid $12, and tipped $4.50 so in total paid $16.50, again, expecting a whole cake like featured in the photo. They confirmed that we were given the right thing and my boyfriend told them basically it was false advertising to have a photo of the whole cake but to only be given the tiniest portion amount, it felt deceiving. On the phone they were silent for awhile and just said "...sorry" after a while. Disappointed to say the least. The bottle of honey is for size comparison. So, if you're interested in the dessert, just beware because my photo is what you will actually receive.

We finally tried Singh's Kitchen a few days ago and are only sorry we didn't go sooner! The ambiance is outstanding. All of the high-tops and low-tops are what looks like marble and the bar has beautiful back-lighting. There's a lot of cool art including a massive mural near the bar. We lucked out by going in Wednesday for half-priced house bottle wine night. Unlike many places, the house wines are from Tattoo Girl vineyards out of Washington State. We really liked the red blend. Our meal was delicious. We started off with the potato samosas accompanied by a very fresh mint chutney. I couldn't decide between the chicken or paneer makhani, so the kitchen was kind enough to let me get half and half. My boyfriend chose the Meat Me Plate, which he loved. Try the Calico Corn!! We couldn't help but sample/inhale both of the $1 dessert specials. The menu is inventive and offers an option to build your own bowl. We'd like to come back and try that and brunch, too. To top off the night, Tom, the head chef, came out to chat with us and had a lot of interesting things to say about the menu and focus (Northern Indian cuisine). We will be back and are glad there is a yummy Indian restaurant within walking distance!

Great, cozy spot in downtown Libertyville! Friendly staff! And most importantly amazing food! The modern takes on the classic Indian fare are down to earth, agreeable to the palate, and leave you wanting more! The flavors are just right without overpowering or overwhelming the senses. We liked that the menu had many different options for meals and even gave the ability to build your own bowl. The price point is manageable as well. I would definitely recommend this spot when you have a craving for a good Indian meal out in cozy, warm restaurant!
