The service was good and the food is ok. It's more American style but not bad and the price is good.

I have eaten here a number of times over the years as it's been pretty solid Thai food with a great ambiance. I think that after this visit, I am done. So much has change for the worse at this point, there is no ambiance, no Thai music anymore, no live orchids, and non of the chefs seemto really get Thai food. The service is standard, the food is standard, This restaurant is a money maker for the owner, but it has no soul left from what it used to be like. This place is a glorified food truck. There is much better Thai food around the area if you want something that is special. I really used to love this place....

The menu is just as the business name suggested, very simple. Nothing fancy, just basically simple Thai dishes. Prices are reasonable. To judge a Thai restaurant I will always try their Tom Yum. At this place, simple enough, option of choice is only chicken, tofu or prawn. I selected prawn and spicy level medium. My other half ordered basil tofu. There is only jasmine rice availabe, no sticky rice, just that simple. Food was ready in a timely manner, portions of dishes are adequate, the sour spicy level of my Tom Yum was just as I expected, very satisfying. The basil tofu dish tasted delicious with nice stir fry aroma. It is a simple, homey place. Do not expect to have the regular Thai dishes that you get in other restaurants.I wouldn't make a special trip to this restaurant, but if I'm in the vicinity I would eat there again.

To be able to park in the lot, you can only come in from one side of the road. There is a media that you can't drive over so in my opinion, the parking lot is not super accessible. Because of this median, I just parked in the mall parking lot and walked across the street.Seating happened immediately and the restaurant wasn't fairly busy. We got our menus and ordered within 10 minutes of sitting down. I got pad kee mao with chicken level 4 spice, my boyfriend got pad Thai chicken level 3 spice, pineapple rice level 3 spice, and fresh spring rolls. The spring rolls came first and they weren't too bad. The peanut sauce was creamy and warm so it just came out of the pot. Not going to lie, the spring rolls might've been my favorite part. For all the noodle and fried rice dishes, the SPICY LEVEL WAS NOT SPICY. The waiter did warn us that anything below spice level 4 wasn't going to be spicy, and he was right. This restaurants spiciness is very Americanized. The pad Thai was missing its signature flavor and was just plain, wasn't anything special. The pad kee mao was interesting, for starters there was a fourth of a fat tomato in the kee mao which was weird. The bell peppers where also cut into strips and nice diced. It also wasn't spicy. The pineapple fried rice we got was alright, it had too much rice and too little pineapple. The chef also came by to drop off spicy sauce and chili oil but we didn't really touch it. They also gave us water pretty frequently which was nice. I would say There are better places to get Thai food in Seattle and I would not come here again if I was craving authentic spicy Thai food.

Stopped by for a quick dinner before dropping some family off at the airport. We were able to get seated quickly for our party and a high chair brought out promptly as well. Food was delicious! I got the beef salad (I forget which, there's two on the menu, I think it was number 11 - which our server suggested of the two) and asked for 4 stars (higher than my typical based on other reviews I read, I'm a 3 star usually). It was definitely not as spicy as I was expecting, but our server brought over more spice and I was able to get it to my desired spice level. Portions for all our food was generous - others in our party had pad thai, pad see ew, etc. I did get a bite of the other dishes and they were fine, but I certainly enjoyed my grilled beef salad more!

My friend had a reservation for 5 at Simple Thai.A party was going on in half of the restaurant and it was very noisy. We had to speak loudly. We ordered Green Curry, Holy (Thai Basil), Garlic beef and Rard Nah, added 2 rice. The restaurant staff were busy but quickly service. All the food remained disappointing. When my friend asked staff to take the leftover food home. The woman brought a container and transferred the remaining food to the container along with the plate. It was awful to see it. She should used fork or spoon to transfer foods.

The Google description of this place does not do it justice. "Simple variations on Thai bites served in a booth-lined space across from the Southcenter Mall"This "booth-lined space" is a beautiful, peaceful space with elegant lighting, nice decor and comfortable seating. I seriously thought it was going to a white walled, dingy diner. Thankfully I was wrong. It looks just lovely inside. It reminded me of the feeling of PF Chang's. I'm not an expert on Thai food, but everything I had was DELICIOUS! Our server was helpful, friendly and attentive. He checked on us a number of times. Definitely give this place a try.
