Silvers Grill

Wow, I've now had for lunch here: 1) their burger which includes fries and a big bowl of soup ($9), 2) their salmon BLT also with fries and soup ($11), and 3) their Greek omelette ($11). It's all been tip-top delicious and also tip-top good values. The fries here in particular have always been super fresh, not over-salted, not greasy, delicately crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and clean looking as in made with fresh, clean frying oil. Maybe after all these years the consistently best fries ever for me, and better than good 'ol MCD. I also met George Paziotopoulos, the friendly and usually busy owner and chef for the first time. And when asked, he graciously and slowly spelled out his last name for me, but he was also humble and disappointed to tell me it was only 13 and not 20 letters long lol! I also had a $9 Old Fashioned with my burger lunch today. And Melanie makes a good, boozy Old Fashioned, yum! I mentioned to her that no two Old Fashioned's I've ever had are quite the same, but that in all honesty her's was right up there near the top, woot woot!I've upped my rating to 5 stars basically cuz Melanie always gives us VIP service, despite how busy it can get here sometimes, particularly for a 2-person operation. Someone in our lunch group may have once informed her that we were VIP's, and I'm not about to reveal the whole truth, not here anyway.

From the moment we stepped into Silver's for our private party, we were treated to an unforgettable experience. The ambiance was perfect, the service was exceptional and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Now, let's talk about the food - WOW! The ribs were absolute perfection, bursting with flavor and cooked to juicy, tender perfection. Every dish was delicious!!! Ribs are normally served on Sunday's during the summer and I'd say they are a must have!!! All our guests loved Silver's!!!

Food was standard and prices were normal. Typical diner experience. Atmosphere was nice. Restaurant was clean.

My takeaway from my dinner at Silvers Grill is that the food is lacklustre. Parking is easy as there are plenty of spots in the lot right outside, and it was exceedingly easy to get a table here on a weekday night. Decor is very simple, the service was fine, but the food was really just average - I would say that I can probably achieve a similar quality at home. Nonetheless, there was nothing in my experience that made me want to stay away from this restaurant, but it would certainly not be front of mind the next time I want to dine out in Park Ridge.

The service was amazing and so was the food! I had the Grecian Breast of Chicken and absolutely loved it and the sides it came with! Every member of my family also loved their food!!

This is a new addition to park ridge We were excited to go try out. Server was very nice and friendly, food was okay. We had kids menu items-burger and fries and I had Scallop with rice and plate full of pasta with Italian sausage and bacon. It is a nice place to go hang out with your friends, family but Food wise, it is not a top chef place. Kinda like family dining place with moderate food.

Had a wonderful and delicious lunch today. Service was great and price was absolutely a value.

Never came to ask for drinks or water...we had to ask to order drinks. Toast on the sandwich was burnt. I wanted a blt but they only had salmon blt so asked for a plain blt but charged $14 for a salmon. Quesadilla was a joke. Like cardboard. Won't be back.

Really great food and service. Visited for first time yesterday and was really impressed. We will be back.

The food is alright but nothing too amazing. The lighting inside is quite subpar which I don't like. The parking situation is great though with the free parking lot right next to it.
