This ramen place is incredible. Entirely unassuming on the outside but some of the best ramen I've had. I got the shoyu on fire. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick meal.

Had lunch yesterday at Silverlake ramen. I was literally the only one there. Service was good. Ramen was fine but not memorable in any way. Just kinda basic good ramen. Now I am spoiled from having ramen in Japan , NYC and LA. So maybe I'm a snob lol.

Came on a Saturday after 10pm, I sat myself and was serviced quickly. I got the $20 dine-in combo and chose the pork bun and classic ramen. Food came out fast...the pork on the pork bun was tough and the bun was not hot but cold & dry. The ramen broth was very mid...not flavorful enough for my taste. I'd say it's one step above the ramen at Tin Drum...which isn't saying much. Definitely not a contender in the "best ramen of atl" race. The pork in the ramen was more tender, probably because it was more fatty. I enjoyed the noodles, they had great texture and a homemade taste. The noodles got this review to 3 stars. Inside decor is cool, nothing special. I parked on the street which was free after 10 but I also saw a parking lot on Crescent.

A nice ramen gem in midtown across from Cafe Intermezzo. The ramen broth is rich and flavorful while the noodles are chewy and housemade. With a full bar, Silverlake kicks up the traditional ramen menu with other fantastic and filling options: chicken karaage (Japanese fried chicken thigh), rice bowls, gyozas, salads and other apps that will be a refreshing addition to your entree. Service was attentive, warm, and welcoming. Dwayne recommended some of his favs on the menu and allowed me to try some fresh-house-made sauces: ghost pepper kimchi, roasted pepper paste, and a chili paste designed for the rice bowls. Silverlake is lucky to have such a friendly and knowledgeable employee!

So I happened to be in midtown so figured I would stop in. They have a decent sized shop, and a little outdoor seating too. They have a full bar, kinda full, but enough options. The bartender was super nice and explained all the ins and outs and well as his favorite dishes. They have really affordable drinks on the menu, and they also have a decent selection of sake (if you are into that).Garlic truffle ramen with chicken and pork (added chili paste for spice) and the gyoza (fried). The gills that came with a spicy mayo that was really good! Have some kick to it. The garlic truffle ramen was good, I added some chili paste to give it more kick as well and it really showed out. The only thing I would probably say would be the fact that the meat wasn't as tender as I would have liked it to be, some of it was kind of tough. No I don't want to say tough, but it wasn't as tender is what I'm used to with ramen but it was still good. And the broth had a lot of flavor. It was super rich. Would I get it again, I sure as hell will.

I ordered takeout this past week, as it's conveniently located near me. I got the creamy broccolini, crispy rice with spicy tuna, and the regular soboro bowl. My favorite out of the three was the creamy broccolini as they use a type of sauce I love everywhere. The second appetizer was pretty good and the tuna was fresh (and most importantly did not make me sick) but overall felt kind of dry, and the ingredients kept falling apart. For this dish I would suggest you get at one of the many other great Japanese restaurants in the city. The soboro bowl had pork, eggs, scallions, pickled radishes, and onions inside. I wasn't craving ramen so picked something else. The eggs were pretty good but I don't think I was a fan of how the meat was seasoned so it made the rest of the bowl not very appetizing. I also moved the food from the takeout box to my own bowl which messed up the presentation. Perhaps I'll come back to have a meal in store.

Silverlake Ramen is a solid choice for a quick, inexpensive bite. The Chicken karage bowl was delicious. The chicken was crunchy, the rice was fluffy, and the pickled veggies and scallions add a nice contrast. The bao bun was nice, but I wish the cut of pork belly was a bit firmer. It was well made, but too soft, which made me feel like it was plucked run out of a bowl of ramen. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu

We ordered mapo tofu and their pork bowl here and the flavors were rich, but not overwhelming. The mapo tofu was slightly salty but I was still tempted to give this five stars since their pork bowl was filled with so much flavor and the bamboo side that we ordered was some of the best I ever had.Four stars since you can get better mapo tofu elsewhere

Silverlake Ramen was a decent ramen spot. The bowls of ramen are huge.I got their combo, a bowl of ramen + a pork bun. My bun came out about halfway through my meal. The waiter admitted to me that he'd forgotten to put the order in. No sweat, he was a sweety and didn't charge me for the bun.Good thing b/c tbh, I could've done without it. It wasn't that good. The sauce was a little too sweet and the pork belly was kinda tough. An the bright side, it was a big bun. Possibly the biggest bao I've ever eaten. I didn't eat much of it and only took a few bites.I got the Blaze ramen. A spicy tonkotsu style ramen. It was ok. I've got no complaints but no rave review for it either. I wanted the garlic truffle ramen but it wasn't an option for the combo. The atmosphere was cute and had a nice vibe.

I am a ramen lover, and this spot is okay. They're better spot in the metro Atlanta area. The food is a little above mediocre. The server was the bartender and host. He didn't seem overwhelmed at all but we had everything come out well. He was able to accommodate us.
