We just happened to find this place walking from an event at RLAC ... from the minute we entered, we were greeted by the nicest people, staff & customers!Coffee was excellent (we're coffee snobs) and breakfast sandwich just like homemade, yummy!And the price, Damn! You can't find a better deal anywhere!Good place, good people.

Dr. J., The Master Chef at the Silver Slipper... He's extremely efficient and quick on the grill. And he never sacrifices quality. Always love being served by Darlene. That's why, for me, her pseudonym is Darling... Shawn & Aaron and the rest of the team are cool, too... 27 years strong... Love this place. Limited parking. Call ahead. Place your order. Eat. And enjoy the smile in your tummy.

Let the image speak for it self. Listed under sandwiches is the steak and eggs, and i get this. I don't know if this was even steak!!! Over cooked home fries and a jerky style meat. Lots of good reviews but i was disappointed for sure. Not sure i will be in the area to eat here again but I'll just skip on to the next spot. P.s. don't try calling to place an order because they don't answer.

Silver Slipper is my favorite breakfast spot.. not sure why I never posted a review. The spicy, beef sausage is my go to and always with a sweet tea. The service is great and food comes out fast. The best part is how affordable they still are, even after all these years. Cash only is inconvenient, but for Silver Slipper, I'll go to the ATM.

Best coffee I've had. Good down home breakfast. Early Sunday morning no crowd. Diner type seating with 8 tables. Waiter service is pleasant and quick. A neighborhood stable.

Good food, quick if you order ahead and the staff are nice enough. The place is cash only, somethingI didn't know at first cause I'm from out of town. There's a bank located right across the street tho so that's perfect. They're always packed when i go so keep that in mind. Overall a nice Black owned business

This old school spot makes some of the best breakfast/brunch food Ive had in inner boston. The staff been there a while and know all the regulars. The place is a tiny hole in the wall but takes me back to the 80's and 90 when step into it!Best of all its not expensive at all. From pancakes to corn beef hash and grits you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely phenomenal food! I rarely find myself able to clean a plate as fast as this, and the people there are absolutely wonderful!
