We had a wonderful evening in Spain, on the corner of Ma Square. Intimate evening with a very creative, authentic Tapas menu. And...you must give 'build your own 'Gin & Tonic' a test drive. Sean, the weekend mgr, gave me a tour through the choices of Spanish gins, tonic type, bitter type, and spices. My Gin Mare, Mediterranean Tonic, Juniper berries, lime, and mint was the best G&T I've ever enjoyed. And as I sipped joyfully, we explored the menu and ordered Spanish olives (my wife ate more than half and she rarely enjoys olives by themselves) and Marcona almonds. We then got phenomenal Tortilla Española (the most delicate, lightest thin layers of potato and onions I've ever eaten); fried Spanish Sardines (a must!), Pan con tomato, and brilliantly prepared Turner mussels. We often try mussels (which rarely differ in taste and texture) and again, Silla's focus on authentic Spanish flavors and ingredients also made these mussels stand out as an amazing dish. You must, must, must give Silla de Toro a try! Definitely get a reservation on the peak hours. If it's a date night, call and ask for the couples table up front. It's perfect. Most comfortable wing back chairs that create a visual intimacy AND an audible convo 'zone' eliminating the white noise around you both. Obviously we will return whenever in Marietta. Already cannot wait.

Absolutely amazing restaurant. I took my friend here for her birthday dinner. Just a small little something. Restaurant is beautifully decorated. Not really big inside. Very intimate just the way I like it. The staff was so nice and very informative. The manager and my waiter gave a lot of great information. This is a traditional Spanish tapas restaurant. So small plates with a peck big flavor. My friend and I shared everything and here's what we got. * Calamari, lamb, chops, chicken, empanadas, shrimp, paella, two cocktails each (one Prado, daisy, and one trader's share each) and finished up with the butter toffee cake. So we got all that food and 4 drinks for $140. I highly recommend checking this place out. I know they also have another location that has just opened out towards North Druid Hills area. I definitely give this a 10 out of 10!

5 stars! We went here for brunch today, weather was amazing so we sat outside. We started with olives and tortilla, both were very good... we then had the lamb, beef and croquettes jamon, all were excellent! Great flavors, I would like to have tried the escalivada but hubby doesn't like eggplant. That will be my first choice next time. Hubs also had the espresso martini... twice... so I guess it was good! All around a very pleasant Sunday afternoon people watching, eating great food and good drinks! We will be back!

Nice and quaint on the inside, there's not a lot of seating available, so please make a reservation. The plate sizes are really good, I read about the paella and a steak and as I was walking in, someone stopped me to recommend the steak and I was not disappointed. The paella is extremely flavorful, I mean extremely flavorful and it is enough for two. It looks small, but it's very filling and packs a lot of flavor. We stuck with a lemon drops for the evening, and they did not disappoint, the service top tier, the ambience is nice, but it is loud because it's small and seating is close but there's truly no complaints.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary in a chill way on a Wednesday night It was around 6pm and only a couple other tables. They aren't big so only have room for I think 10 or less tables at a time They had a ton of staff just hanging out around the front so that was a bit awkward but maybe they get busy later in the day We got the:paella (serves 2): this was pretty good... The rice was cooked well & there was plenty of protein in the dish for its size. It wasn't the best paella we've had but it was decent. Octopus: this is a very small portion .. easily 4 bites ish but it was tasty esp with the pickled onions! The beans was an interesting side dish but they tasted good on the side Empanadas: these were quite large, crispy on the outside and very flavorful! Nice, savory with plenty of filling. This may have been our favorite of the entrees Tres leches: very moist cake, very sweet, perfect size to share when you've got just a little room left. Not too heavy even being a creamy cake so I really liked this item I'm not really sure what dishes were actually Spanish vs fusion dishes but I heard a lot of people talking about the eggplant during their meals so that might be the thing to try here! The staff were super attentive, not chatty but came quickly to check up. Although I do think the bartender talked to the people at the bar quite a bit. Rest of the place was pretty quiet so that kinda gave me library shh vibes Parking in the square was a breeze this night and we got a spot very close for this pregnant lady to waddle over haha They recommend to start with 4 tapas and that seemed the right amount of food for us + a dessert My husband got the cookie dough Old fashioned & it smelled like a cookie to me. He said it had an "interesting" cookie after taste. The ice looked nice in it but no other aesthetic garnish. Lol I kinda feel like it should've had a chocolate chip cookie with it truth be told Overall, it was ok but probably won't be a regular spot

Found this gem during a taco and tequila crawl and fell in love. If you live in the Marietta area... trust me, you want to try this place. Excellent service, and the food was amazing. I would suggest making reservations because they can fill up fast. We enjoyed the paella, which does take some time, but it's worth it! It's fresh, hot, and full of flavor. We also had the calamari, a pitcher of white sangria, steak skewers, and they version of bruchetta. It loved it because it came with this garlic paste, hard parmesan cheese, and tomato spread. The overall vibe of the restaurant is laid back and casual. They offer sangria, wine, and whiskey flights for the drinking connoisseur.

I got the octopus and the paella! The octopus was phenomenal, I could've eaten so much of it! The beans that it comes with are also pretty good. I think the paella could've been better. It was really greasy at the bottom and the chicken was kind of dry. They didn't really give that much seafood so I think it was pretty overpriced for what it was honestly. The service was really good though! It was a good experience but I wouldn't choose to come back here again

I've been wanting to come here ever since I spotted it on my last venture to Marietta Square, and thankfully I was in the area! I went on a Thursday at 7:00 without a reservation, but my friend and I were able to snag a table outside. We started off with the Sangria flights. We went from light to dark which was the perfect choice as we started with one that was light and refreshing and finished off with fruity delight! I wish I took pictures of our food, but we were way too busy inhaling them! Here is what we ordered:Pulpo Parilla: The octopus was grilled to perfection (using a sous-vide made all the difference imo)!! It was beautifully seasoned as well as the cannellini beans.Gambas Al Ajillo: I mean this is an absolute tapas staple! I order this almost every time I'm at tapas restaurant. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the garlic oil was just amazing. Thankfully it came with bits of toasted bread that we totally dipped into that oil (highly recommend doing this if you order it!)Spanish Style Mac + Cheese: I wanted a bit of comfort food, and boy did this deliver! It was full of creamy goodness, and we absolutely loved the addition of the chorizo.Mussels: I'm always a sucker for some mussels, so I almost always order these at tapas restaurants as well. These are green mussels, so you get plenty of meat. Also, the white wine butter sauce was absolutely to die for! This also came with some toasted bread, so we dipped it into the sauce and never looked back!Service: Our server was extremely sweet and made sure that everything was to our liking (and it sure was!).I definitely plan on coming back to try their other dishes!

I haven't been to Marietta Square in a long time so I didn't know this place existed! It's a Spanish tapa restaurant but they also have a brunch menu for the weekend, which I had. So we ordered the steak & eggs and the torrija Española(french toast). Both were so delicious. The french toast was so addicting, thick, and not too sweet or dry. Steak & eggs was very flavorful. We tried the sangria flight which was a great experience We also ordered a tapa plate which was the Spanish Style Mac + Cheese. I really enjoyed this because the flavor was so good. The only is that it's not very cheesy. I really enjoyed the food here, but the atmosphere was also very nice and pretty. The service was fast and friendly. Enjoy ;) -IG: travelfoodie_ishy

The food is Perfecto!! Gambas, Pulpo, Lamb Chops, Charcuterie Boards and Bacon Wrapped Dates, to name a few! The Calamari is some of the best I've ever tasted!! The service is extremely personal guiding us through the menu and suggesting tapas. The cocktails are Fantastic! Great selections along with the huge wine menu featuring wines from Spain, Argentina and Chile. The choice of beverage flights are outstanding including a wine flight and sangria flight. They feature weekend brunch, specialty dinners and wine tasting often!! The restaurant itself is intimate and has an extremely charming ambiance. I recommend to make a reservation online or call to secure a table since it always seems to be busy. You can always sit at the bar or at the outside patio tables. Silla Del Toro is a must stop when visiting Marietta Square!!!
