It's been 8 years since my last review and Sid's keeps delivering! New items include a nice coffee bar and a well stocked growler filling station. They still have lots of candy, ice cream, beverages and lotto tickets.Still as nice & sweet as ever! I love having them in the neighborhood! You will too!

If only this place had a drive thru option! I passed this place everyday for a year before going inside because the exterior looked shady; however, when I finally went in, out of pure necessity, I found a very clean and diversely well stocked store. The owner/cashier (not sure if he is Sid!) is hilarious and engaging. I feel safe in this store and am so happy to have it near my neighborhood. If you're looking for basic convenient store items, Sid's has them. The bonus factor is the booze. Expansive selection of beer and wine. And I think I spotted some cheese in the refrigerator. Don't be afraid to swing by on your way to a party. Your haul will be well received!

This is one of those reviews you write just because you can. There really is not anything that makes SIDS stand out from any other convenience store on earth, except it's location and it's longevity. In the only little strip mall off stuffs on my hill, (family owned pizza place, small family owned hair salon, and SIDS) it's the beacon of the neighborhood for all the shit you just need now and don't want to travel "into town" for.My kids and their friends walk here multiple times a week for treats after school or on weekends. More than once, when a group of kids comes up short on their purchases (big eyes, small wallets), random patrons or the owner will often "spot" the kids the difference. It was exactly the same way when I was a kid and came here. The employees are the owners, their family and a few neighborhood folks who've all been there a good long while. And it shows. They know the names, lives, and 'favorite brands' of all the regular customers. They are, after all, neighbors-literally and figuratively.I do hope SIDS remains a part of my neighborhood for a long time to come.

I have been coming here for 8 years this has been my go to spot for snack. But today you're newer guy working is short changing people, refusing to give receipts. Today my total was $8.29 I tried to pay with my debit card and was told I couldn't unless it was over $5, never have I had this issue I have always been told there is a fee to use debit, which is fine I would rather pay a fee the be short changed like I was today. So I pull out $10 to pay for my stuff, when given my change I was given $0.87 My change should have been $1.71 that's a whole $0.84 no it's not a lot of money. But if he does this to everyone he then is making a profit off it. And then I couldn't even get my receipt because I paid cash excuse me only the debit machine does receipts not the cash register I'm sorry but I'm having trouble believing that so you won't be getting my business ever again and I'll be making sure everyone on the hill knows not to go there and just drive a little farther

Sid's is always a great place to "stop in" for a quick Red Bull or bag of Doritos, and if it's coffee you're after, you can always drive-thru Gourmet Latte on the corner!!!

Awesome neighborhood convenient store. Love that they have so many local brews from Georgetown and Fremont. They have Georgetown's Lucile on tap so it's great to be able to come here to fill up a growler rather than going all the way down to Georgetown. The owner was making a ton of recommendations and very helpful. Support local!

Super friendly employees. I can't believe we use to walk here when we were little. I remember on long walks when it would be getting late we would just be praying it was still open! It's taken over new ownership since back in those days. ..but I'm still thankful when it's been a long day and I need to grab something quick from there. Whether it's beer, milk, candy, lotto tickets, even a cool seahawks hat. ....I am grateful to be able to stop in with ease and and not have to go to the big commercial grocery stores. I've even been able to find random stuff I didn't think I would in there. ..items I assumed I would have to hit the big stores for. Always greeted when I walk in, regardless of who's working....which I think is awesome since although I do stop in now and then I'm not a regular or anything.I think the owners are doing a great job, thanks for the convenience!

Sid's charges sales tax for food items. I believe that's illegal. Also they charge $1 for using credit card On top of that they refuse to give receipts. I'm pretty sure that's illegal as well.Everything is way more expensive than your normal grocery store. If I recall almost double the price. For example a $2.50 milk goes for $5 + tax + $1 if you don't have cash. It's better to just drive down the hill to QFC or the other way to Safeway.

Buttholes charge for using debit/credit card. Go elsewhere if you can. You can't tell me they don't make money from each transaction
