Sidny's Bagels & Deli

Wish they had a drive thru. They offer up delicious food that is reasonably priced and very filling. Parking is easy and there are tons of dining tables and chairs available to sit and enjoy your meal. If you're in a hurry, call ahead because they do tend to get busy especially during the weekends. If you don't want a donut and want something different than Panera, this is a good place to choose. I'll be back soon. If you see me, don't be afraid to say hi!

The food is my biggest complaint. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich and it didn't taste anything like a good Philly cheesesteak. The meat was old and cardboard like, with zero taste. No onions, which I like on Philly cheesesteak, but it had old green peppers! If I have to base my future visits on this one, I will never return. Hope you have a better experience, but mine sucked.

What's not to love about this place? My husband and his family introduced me to Sisney's several years ago and I eat there about twice a week. My go-to's are the Gluten-Free BLT or Gluten-Free lox sandwich. My husband can't choose a favorite because he loves it all. My mother-in-law lives for their seedy twists and my father-in-law cannot get enough of their eggles. The atmosphere is clean and decorated with pictures of the New York of the past. They have a large menu and many drink options including beers. I truly enjoy that they serve Pepsi and not Coke. Seating can be done inside or outside on the outdoor patio. There is a running water fountain and a lava firepit. Tables and chairs are covered with umbrellas and are always clean. It truly is a gem that is tucked into the Von's' shopping center in Rancho Bernardo.

Not sure how this place only has 3.7 stars I love it here! Bomb bagels and they're quick. What more could you want?

Great to have a deli this great near Poway. The roast beef BLT is so good with their soft and fresh baked sourdough. They have homemade chicken noodle soup too. Not sure why they have negative reviews when it's always pretty packed and there really isn't a good deli anywhere around here. Good food:)

They served perhaps the most delicious and exceptional turkey sandwich I have ever eaten. Exceptional. Bravo Sidny's. Much appreciated!

I've only visited this hidden gem twice and it has been great both times. the first time I ordered the Chicken Cesar Wrap and immediately fell in love with it. You know how you obsess on stuff? Well, I could not stop thinking about this sandwich, wrap whatever, and had to have it again. And you know what, it was just as good if not better the second time around. They use succulent chicken strips, red onion, tomatoes, some kind of cesar dressing and the obvious parmesan cheese and crisp romaine lettuce. The wrap is a burrito size tortilla, which was warmed and made the wrap even better. It was just plum delicious. The staff was friendly too. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted with a smile and a Hello! Made the whole experience even better.This is my new go to now for deli sandwiches.

This is my second visit and I got the same thing which is a classic pastrami Reuben sandwich. This time I added the chicken matzo ball soup. This sandwich is so freaking good it's unbelievable I was lucky there was no line so the service was quick and pleasurable because I was hungry as heck. Service was great. Little tip.. if you pay in cash you get a discount.

I go there about once a month for the best bagels in San Diego! I also get 1/2 - 1 lb of lox which is always delicious. I have tried their cream cheeses which are also very good and occasional get a sandwich but my favorite is to buy a dozen bagels, lox and cream cheese (assortment) when friends are visiting.

I just ordered from DoorDash and the food was great! Perfect sandwich made with a great portion of meat and the soup arrived hot. Definitely give it a try!
