Side Hustle Local Brewery

I visited this spot for a local meetup recently and enjoyed my experience! They have several TVs around that can project content, and they set up a small stage area for the speaker. Service during the event was great! You can order food and drinks at the bar, and they also had staff walking around to take orders too. The staff were friendly, and I would definitely consider revisiting for a casual drink!

Good selection of beer. Fun that it's rotating breweries. They offer a small bites menu and wine, cider, kombucha and sparkling waters. Lots of seating and cool atmosphere- sort of like a pub, sort of PNW, sort of swanky. Music was at a good volume- loud enough to get the vibe but I wasn't shouting over my beer. Nice guy doing bar service. A couple TVs but not obnoxiously so. I'll go back because I like beer and it was super chill.

Bartender was super helpful. I tried a dark beer to start (porter?). Was on tap and was delicious. My coworkers tried an IPA and a Pilsner (both on tap). Everyone liked their beer. For my 2nd I tried a sour (from a can) which also tasted great. It was nice that there was a baseball game on the tv as well. Didn't try any snacks or food, but maybe next time. Great location in downtown Kirkland. And close to the water.

Met up with friends for a few drinks. Loved the shareable menu for food and great selection for drinks!

Great food and excellent selection of beer and light appetizers in a small, ambient space! The owners, who also own Bellevue Brewing Company, make their rounds and are super friendly and welcoming. Overall great vibes, live music, and amazing food and drinks!

Stopped in for a couple of brews here last week and left with the impression that we will be back again as we begin working closer to this part of town. Love the location and the art within the space itself. It's small and quaint, but they do a great job with the space afforded to them. Love all the beer-centric quotes around the space, made us giggle a couple of times. The service was amazing. The person behind the bar was quick, efficient, helpful, and knowledgeable. Even warned me about one beer I was buying, that it wasn't brewed to its normal expectations, and he was correct - and he swapped the beer out for me when I mentioned I couldn't finish it. We sat at the end of the brewery which looks out onto the street and it felt like we were sitting on a friend's porch while enjoying a beautiful day. Oh, and the beer! It was above average in my opinion which is more than good enough for me to recommend and go back again. Also, they are dog-friendly which is always a big plus for me.

Trivia running around the clock on TapTV is what brought us in. So happy to have a place to play trivia and bring the dog too!! Would be fantastic to have trivia just on 1 or 2 TVs so we can still watch sports. If that is an option- I know where I'll be hanging for March Madness! I didn't try the food, but the bartender was VERY kind and was on the go making sure everyone had everything. I hear the food is great, but I didn't know that until I was about to leave- so I'll go back and try food next time.

This brewery was a good experience but in my mind it's more like a taphouse as they didn't have any of their own beer. I did a look on Untapped and the brewery appeared and had about three beer entries so they do make their own but it looks like it's in small amounts. Not to say our experience was unpleasant. I got a great Tangerine Pale Ale that the beertender said was from Bellevue Brewing Company. It gave me a reminder of how good that particular brewery is. Steve had a stout from another guest tap and that was great too! So they do a very good job bringing in great guest taps. Pretty much all of the guest taps were very local. They were mostly from breweries in the Seattle area and on the Bellevue side so that was good to see as many places have guest taps from breweries all over the country(not that I'm complaining about that). It was refreshing to see all beers involved were very local.

Already one of our regular spots to grab a good beer (great rotating tap selection - 1 beer feature per type) in a chill / casual loungey atmosphere right smack in the middle of hustling downtown KirklandPlus board games. Plus live music.Even better? Confirmed cat friendly!

I stopped by for a drink with friends and had a great time. They serve a wonderful selection of wine and beer from local spots, are dog friendly, and have lots of games and fun elements! The vibes in here are really fun, it's a great place to hang out with friends. We got a cozy couch spot and stayed for hours because we had so much fun! We had minimal interaction with the staff, but the times we were at the counter were pleasant. I will say, the prices are really inflated. It was like $20 per glass for wines that are sold in the wineries for $20 a bottle. Very pricey for what it is, but still has a good atmosphere.
